Milanese loop is unraveling, sharp edge CUT ME DRAWING BLOOD

Regarding repair # Repair Number: R693828161 They are making me jump through hoops to get a Milanese loop that is UNRAVELING and CUT ME, DRAWING BLOOD replaced. The band is actually UNRAVELING on the right hand and is SHARP. I went to Santa Monica to get it fixed and they said they were going to replace it but I have to come pick it up. I told them I wanted to pick up at the Grove. Then I realized what a pain it would be to have to drive there, park, pay for parking (they don't validate) and told them I wasn't up for it because I was not feeling up to. Now that I feel better and am ready to fix this before my travels, they told me the repai order has been closed and I have to come in and ask for a replacement AGAIN! It is SUCH a hassle to have to go and park there and pay for parking, its literally 1+ hours of my time each time and I'll have to do it TWICE. I literally cannot understand why they can't just mail me a replacement because I have to PAY FOR PARKING AND SPEND AN HOUR OF MY TIME EACH TIME AND I'LL HAVE TO DO IT TWICE. They are lucky I don't sue them because this defective brand CUT ME. Its literally unsafe to wear! Fix it and MAIL me a replacement. I don't have time to drive and pay for parking TWICE because your product is DEFECTIVE.

Beautiful Apple Store at The Grove! It's next to Nordstrom at the north end . Stunning selection and visuals ! I look forward to coming back soon . Plenty of parking in the parking garage and a very nice mall in LA!!

The Temple of Nature and Technology.

I admit, when I first saw the Apple Store at The Grove I was pretty impressed. With it's glass doors, 70 foot ceiling and rows of live trees it looks like a combination of a human terrarium and a temple to the coexistence of nature and technology. Now, I'm am most definitely an Apple person: I'm not a zealot, but my MacBook and iPhone (and various other devices over the years) are essential tools to me. A few days ago, my MacBook had a problem with the screen. I have no idea what happened, but the entire screen was dead. So, I brought it to the Genius Bar. Now, I've brought devices to the Genius Bar before...my old Macbook gave up the ghost after four good years and I was able to buy a new MacBook and have all my data transferred in a day. Until this visit, I'd always visited the Apple Store closest to me: the one in Glendale Galleria. And I'd never been disappointed. However, here the repair took four days and even though my device was ready at 1pm today, I wasn't informed of it until after 6pm. And I had been looking at my phone hourly to see when I could grab it. So, while this place looks great, it's Genius Bar could use a little work.

toy pick up.

went in to pick up our newest toy - a desktop for our office. there was a line out the store to get in, pickup line was much shorter. it wasn't super quick, but I also wasn't in there all day. service was fair. hate that they don't validate even after making a 2k + purchase.

The biggest one I have ever been to, and not by choice, lol. My friend and I were walking around, and he said I HAD to look inside, so I did. As most of you know, I am a proud green bubble and have been for my entire cell phone owning life. He, however, is an apple freak, and he is one of those friends who continuously clowns me to get an apple phone. Well, that's not happening in this lifetime, and certainly not in the next, lol! I will say that this store is huge, and it's definitely a spot for all you apple lovers. Look up when you go in. It's like being in a museum! No one greeted us when we went in, but that's probably a good thing. You should check it out if you're at The Grove.

APPLE AT THE GROVE has got to be the best looking Apple Store I've ever seen in my life. The indoor trees are amazing. The seeming sky-high ceilings are amazing. Still a line to get service or to talk to anyone. Best make an appointment ahead of time. Parking structure validation provided.

Walked in the store with no appointment, asked a baby face with an apple symbol on his red T-shirt to assist me with google-dark-mode on my SE, another identical uniformed-T, salt & pepper with a 1930's mustache jumped in and & together they figured it out.

Why is it impossible to get anything done/fixed on your first visit. All Apple Store are trash but this one seems particularly useless.

West Hollywood Computer Repair - 2024 Don J. Myers Proprietor

West Hollywood Computer Repair

Took it to a microcenter who was able to repair the CPU issue and they also found out one of my hard drives was damaged, possibly from it's time with Don. It was working fine before and a CPU issue shouldn't have affected it. $1500 to restore the drive.

Can't recommend this guy enough!…read more About 2 weeks ago I built my own high end custom PC for gaming, video editing, and 3D modeling. Then I spent about 5 days trying to figure out why it wouldn't post and why the GPU kept shutting off after it loaded Windows in the rare instance when it did finally post. I consulted ChatGPT, Grok, DIY PC subreddits, Youtube tutorials, everything -- nothing resolved my issues. I was at my wits end and decided to take it to a repair shop to bring the build across home plate. I've used independent repair shops before for previous computers and issues - always felt a little ripped off and the process was never fire-and-forget easy, so I was hesitant to go this route but saw no other option. I called West Hollywood Computer Repair and before I was a minute into the conversation, I knew this guy was the right pick and would do a solid job. You can tell, he's a computer nerd through and through - and I say that with affection! His passion for the craft immediately comes through in dialogue. Anyways long story short, what took me 5 days to ultimately fix nothing he was able to fix in roughly 3 hours. What's even better is I would have paid several times what he charged me if I went anywhere else! The cherry on top? I had installed Windows 11 like an idiot and he told me he'd rather give me Windows 10 - so he did. If you know anything about Windows 11 (the tracking, the spying, the limitations, the consumer-unfriendly practices), you know that a tech demanding it be replaced by Windows 10 is a strong sign that he not only cares about computers but cares about the customers and their experience with their computers. For just three hours of work, Don has earned himself a grateful repeat customer. ** In case your eyes glossed over from the wall of text, here's the TL;DR: 1) His pricing undercuts usual market rates and he does this out of principle, not to compensate for any lack of skills or experience. 2) He's been in the repair business for decades, so he's well qualified to handle whatever problem you have. 3) He's very communicative during the repair process, letting you know what's being worked on and how it's going. 4) He's quick and efficient. 5) Hire this guy!

I picked my pc up, brought it home and immediately had it crash on me. I tried giving them the benefit of doubt and took my pc back. They then had my pc for a little over a week and told me they had no issues with it and were willing to reinstall windows if I wanted to because there was a chance that was causing issues. My problem with the team at Stan's isn't in their inability to fix my issue, even after charging me $250 which is WILD, but my problem is rather the little things that confused me. I explained that the pc would crash during gaming and at specific moments. One would think that that is where a shop would start to look, but they didn't. I had to talk to them 3 times to get them to start playing a game that was causing issues. I also asked if they could try swapping out parts to try and find a hardware issue, and I was told they could. When I picked it up the second time all they said was, yea we ran it for a while and it didn't crash. Nothing about swapping parts to test different hardware components. I won't be taking it back a 3rd time because I have no faith that they'll be able to figure anything out and I've already spent $250 for them to just reinstall some drivers and windows. Oh and when they reinstalled windows I had to then reinstall critical drivers for my cpu and gpu. I wish I could get some kind of refund, but based on the service I've received so far, I don't think that's likely. Learn from my misfortune and go somewhere else. Two stars - one for service and one for the doggos
