Go to another location! We went to T Mobile to trade in a phone. Despite it being Saturday afternoon, they had two people working. Clearly, not Apple. And definitely no geniuses. We waited patiently for three customers in front of us to leave the store. The employee looked at us and said he would be right back, implying that he would take care of us next. After leaving the store, the three previous customers walked back in, cut us off and started asking more questions wanting to buy a phone. Sorry, but if you go to the supermarket and buy your groceries then leave the store realizing you forgot bananas, you don't get to skip to the front of the line again! When I approached the employee saying that we were next and that he told us he would take care of us, he accused me of lying, saying he never said that. What a piece of garbage. Total clown. But I guess you can't blame him. He must be frustrated that he couldn't land a job at ATT or Sprint. Gotta be tough cashing checks from the 4th largest cellular provider in the US. Rudest service I have ever received. Really, it was so bad I thought it might have been a prank video in the making. This is for the location at 7164 Beverly Blvd. I arrived before the store opened and was the first one there. The door was unlocked right on time, but the employee just walked away even though I was standing at the door. I walked in and greeted him, and he just mumbled without even looking at me. I needed to switch out my defective Gateway and was told by tech support I had to go to a T-Mobile store take care of it. He asked a few questions without even looking at me and proceeded to process the return. He never hassled me about the return, so that's good. All throughout I felt like I was walking on eggshells and really inconveniencing him. He clearly didn't want to be helping me, and it wasn't busy. I remained quiet because I needed to get my internet up and running again. When he was all done, he just walked away without saying a word. He did set up my new Gateway, and it's working properly. I could tell he knew his job well because another representative was asking him questions. Who knows, maybe he was just having a bad day. Today I had time to change my privacy screen protector for my phone (iPhone 16 pro max). It's nice I could find it here after looking for it in many T-mobile stores all over Hollywood and none had it available. I called the store and a female employee helped me and checked out availability. I came in to the store and was immediately noticed by Alejandro. He checked my account and helped me. While getting the street protector changed he explained to me promotions and talked to me about the Apple Watch. He was nice and professional. A slick-talking T-Mobile salesman convinced me to switch from AT&T to T-Mobile on the promise T-Mobile would pay the outstanding balance on my daughter's iPhone 14. I personally went to this corporate store with a hard copy of my AT&T bill for $414.82. This bill was never paid. My daughter's iPhone 14 was stolen from her in Chicago, en route to college, and I purchased a used iPhone 12 to replace the stolen iPhone 14. T-Mobile failed to pay for the original phone and now the AT&T bill has risen to $449.70. After (literally) hours on the phone to T-Mobile reps in the Phillipines, T-Mobile has "offered" $340.75, as if we were bargaining in the bazaar in Manila. Meanwhile, as T-Mobile delayed, my credit score has diminished because of its failure to timely pay the AT&T bill. This is not how a legitimate company does business. I would not recommend T-Mobile to anyone, as this company cheats. read more

Had connectivity issues during the Hollywood fires and went to the best T-Mobile store in LA. Barely had to wait as there were more than enough representatives...but I had the best service ever! Jesus swiftly hooked me back up and I was in action, not to mention the Top Manager, Ginooo! who made sure everything was 100% and then some! Then, I thought...let me see how much a screen protector is before I leave...and Jesus did his magic again and I had it replaced under warranty...who knew? One star because one of the managers went above and beyond to get my apple watch working initially. Second star for them putting on a really good show attempting to try to get my watch to work the second time when I got a new Apple ID, but then blamed the system saying to come back in 24 hours. (Like coming back is so easy to do when you have a busy schedule.) When I returned, I spent approximately 90 mins in the store waiting for them to troubleshoot and their final answer was "come back in 3 DAYS." It was very hard for me to not start crying hysterically because I had wasted approximately 3-4 hours of my life in a t-mobile store with no solution. They also never once offered to credit me for the service that I was paying for that was clearly not working. So I asked how to unlock my phone because I was ready to be a Verizon customer and they said "dial 611." After making a formal complaint a friendly supervisor helped me remove an extra line that was on my account and transferred me to this magical group called "DIGITS" which got my watch working that DAY, NOT 3 DAYS!!! It baffles me that there were two managers on duty and neither one knew to call the magical digit fairies?!?! Also, I had a cracked screen protector (which I purchased less then a month ago which could obviously be proved by the fact that I had just replaced my phone with insurance less than a month ago) and being the clueless millennial that I am, I disposed of my receipt thinking that there was going to be a digital receipt on my account (which there wasn't) so of course, I walked out with a cracked screen protector, cracked heart, and no cellular service on my watch. Walking into the store today was like going on a bad date and then the guy says he forgot his wallet so I also had to pay. They still have a customer so this review isn't that bad. My dad switched our phone service from Verizon to T-Mobile while I was at work and my service didn't transfer properly so I had to go to a T-Mobile to get a physical SIM card at the end of a long work day. Every staff member was busy helping someone and there were 4 other people ahead of me. Once a staff member was free, Pedro came to see what I needed help with and I think he could hear the frustration in my voice from not having had service all day- but they were so busy and the wait might be really long, they offered to give me the SIM card and try to set it up myself while waiting, because it was possible I'd have it set up before someone was available to help me. Thankfully the wait wasn't too long and I was still on hold with customer service so once it was my turn, Abraham set it up for me within minutes and explained everything thoroughly to me. He made sure that my service was activated and working properly before having me leave the store. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING T-MOBILE. COME STRAIGHT TO THIS LOCATION. The customer service at this location rocks! I was having difficulty transferring 4 phones from another carrier over the phone, so after wasting almost 2 hours, the phone rep advised me to go into a store location. The next day, i went to this location in my neighborhood and was greeted by 2 friendly associates, Gino, the store manager, and Jesus, a newer hire in training. Gino listened to the reason for my visit, and after making sure Jesus was confident and knowledgeable about what needed to be done, stepped away to help another customer and allowed Jesus help me through the lengthy process. We finished just in time before the store closed. Before leaving the store, Jesus told me he was working the next day and to come back and he would help me submit the requests for the payoff of each phone, which was much appreciated because I wouldn't have been able to figure it out on my own. There was another employee there who Gino referred to as his "expert," and he was also very helpful and provided Jesus with additional information to make the process smoother. These friendly guys are the ultimate knowledgeable professionals who work well together as a team. At no time did I feel like I was being rushed out the door so they could get to other customers like I have felt in a competitors store. They answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable enough to come back in the future when I need any changes to my account. I am retired, and I can't say enough how much I appreciate great in person service over trying to get things done via telephone or text or apps or websites. Closed 3 hours ahead of time on a Tuesday evening. Have been trying to make it here for a couple weeks.

Really long wait here, but great staff. I came in to get a phone for my daughter, for her first phone. She's older but on the autism spectrum. I was apprehensive about getting something for hundreds and hundreds of dollars if it ends up being lost eventually. The young lady who helped us was patient and recommended the perfect plan. I was able to get a solid phone for her for around $150 with the glass on I think, and I'm paying for it month by month. So if it all goes sideways, I'm just out the phone cost and 2 months of service. That said, it seems like it's working out well for her, so I'm looking forward to upgrading her phone in a few months to an iPhone. Taking off a star only because this location seems to be understaffed a bit, and we really had a long wait which was challenging. But people who work here are great! read more

Samsung Note 7 has been discontinued and T-Mobile had more problems with refurbished ones whose batteries are spontaneously catching fires, on its own. So dangerous! Inspite of that immediate danger, I received no prior announcement from T-Mobile. But, given such high risk of danger, actually over the top, that one wonders why CPSC has not alerted all owners to return their devices, I returned mine on my initiative and prodded on by my hubby. I called T-Mobile first and they texted me after the call. At the store, I got competent, amiable, courteous and patient service from Anthony. It took me almost two and half hours to get my data migrated. I learned some techniques from him. While attending to me, he was multi-tasking and helped two more customers. Because of his professionalism, a tourist came back and got his new phone and prepaid services; another customer called someone from Michigan to convince him to join her in T-Mobile account. I really appreciated this service as it really reflected customer care at its best. As a thank you, I went next door and told the pizza place to deliver a meat and veggies pizza and paid $20. When I was being helped by the reps there was an angry customer today yelling and being extremely rude to the reps there and started making a scene. It's great that they are there to help, but really, there was another guy in front of me in addition to the aforementioned customers. Some things you really need to have addressed in person. First of all they lied to me about the turn in policy and they're very rude very poor customer service they don't have a clue on how to transfer phones from another company so, I was in that store for 6hours and I was told I should receive the credit card within 30 days after I gave them the final bill and I haven't received anything going month already. Customer service very poor and it's missing up my credit for not paying off the phone with sprint I explained to management my bill with sprint is due on the 17th of every month. So, since they couldn't handle the situation I called customer service have spoken to well over 5-6 people and still no luck. Called back today they told me the phone was damaged which is a lie because the manager checked out the phone a said the phone was fine and packed it and sent it off and too they told me ahead of time I couldn't get their phone unless the phone was intact so it was approved by the manager. However, if they're refusing to pay the sprint phone off and the phone is broken then send the phone back and I can give the phone to sprint. Appalling customer service from manager who usurped business from her colleague. We do not understand the glowing reviews for Karen. She was unprofessional and is an abomination to the T-Mobile corporate name. We went in to downgrade an elderly friend's phone from a smartphone to a flip phone because he was unable to understand how to use the smartphone. We were being assisted by a helpful associate Ray. Karen interrupted our conversation and took us away from Ray. When we told her what we wanted, she turned sour and condescending. Her attitude was appalling and demeaning, and we felt bad for coming. When she went to the back to look for a flip phone, she turned back to us and gave us a dirty look. 'When she returned, she snapped that they didn't have any flip phones and we were out of luck. We asked if she could call another T-Mobile store and see if they had any flip phones, and she responded "we don't do that." When we questioned why she wouldn't assist us -- long time T-Mobile customers -- with a simple request to call another store, she told us to call ourselves. She may have been having a bad day, but there is never a reason to act this way with any customer. She acted atrociously and needs to be written up. I walked in there at 7:15pm on a Wednesday no one was in there except one other customer Hollis was in my direct line of sight and I walked directly to him to ask about phone plans. He showed some that didn't work for me and I explained that spectrum was unable to let me use my iPhone 7 to get a $45 plan with them. He lastly explained the 3GB $25 prepaid plan and that worked for me. Cheaper than spectrum and great prices I don't care if it's prepaid as long as I don't have to buy a new iPhone because mine it too old according to spectrum just to give you my business. He was quick, and helpful. I will say he's not a happy fake cheerleader personality but I don't mind not having that as long as I go in and get what I need in a timely fashion. Cut to the chase. I wanted to get help with filing a claim because my phone stopped working and after being on the phone with someone for 1.5 hours filing my claim and getting disconnected. I never got a call back from them so decided to get help at the store. I got there 45 minutes before closing time and we were on the phone trying to file my claim. The male employee helping me hung up the phone with the person helping with my claim after being on the phone for 45 min and told me I have to leave because the store was closing and I could call them back using the wifi from outside the store. I had to start the whole process over with someone new on the phone and the store employees were rude and disrespectful. They seemed to be uninterested in helping me and were very lazy and not knowledgeable about the process of filing a claim. I have been a Sprint turned Tmoblie customer for over 12 years and I am considering switching to Verizon after this horrible experience. read more
