We got Frontier fiber installed back in December 2025. But since the line is across the street they…read morehad to run it through the air across the street, tie it to one of my trees and then drape it diagonally across my front lawn about 250 ft to my house. It was fine when the snow was on the ground but I've been having to move it around each time I mow my lawn now. I've called them repeatedly to have them bury the line and they've given me three dates now that came and went, and aside from the initial visit, where they texted me saying they couldn't bury the line because of snow, the other two dates came and went without giving me a reason. I've been calling them every month now having them give me full credit for each month the job remains unfinished.

Then out of the blue, zero services - no Internet (we have jobs and kids who need access for school) and since TV came over the line, none of that either. Every morning, noon and evening I'd get a text saying restoration of service by X (i.e. 4pm the same day). After a day or two that showed itself to be a straight lie. No human to talk to on the phone, either. This baiting fraud went on for two weeks until we switched back to Spectrum. They owed me $7.01 per their recurring bill and kept it for months and months instead of just sending me a check. Eventually they sent a prepaid MasterCard I never requested containing my $7.01 which, if I activated, screwed me over with annual fees, etc. I finally got in touch with someone in the Philippines who said they'd send me a check; haven't gotten it yet - been about a week. Frontier is about the worst company with which i've had the displeasure of doing business. Shady and unfair business practices at every turn, in my view. Stay always unless you're a masochistic glutton for punishment. Consider yourself warned.

Apparently returning Spectrum equipment is a scavenger hunt now…read more I walked in carrying a pile of heavy equipment and did what generations of humans have been trained to do: I got in line. Crazy, I know. So there I am, standing behind several other people who had also made the radical decision to form a line, when I start noticing employees calling random names from around the store. People are wandering up from chairs, corners, and various mysterious locations like they've just won a raffle. After about 15 minutes, another customer finally informs us that you have to sign in when you arrive. Now here's the part that really impressed me: every employee in the store watched a group of us standing there holding heavy equipment for fifteen minutes and not a single person thought to mention this tiny little detail. Not one. It honestly felt like a social experiment. "Let's see how long these people stand here before they figure it out." The sign-in system itself isn't the problem. Plenty of places use one. The problem is watching customers clearly waiting for service and saying absolutely nothing. The good news is I eventually returned my equipment. The bad news is I now know more about human indifference than I did when I walked in.

excellent experience with LA Wifi Guys!…read more I had a crappy security camera set up, and a failing doorbell cam and needed them replaced. Out of frustration, I was determined not to cheap out and dug into the options. Ubiquiti had a solid reputation for quality and reliability, so I went about finding someone who handled their products. Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! Really great setup with excellent user interface and excellent camera resolution. I've already shared videos and stills with the neighborhood (as we are having coyote issues), and it was so quick and easy to do. A+++ experience all around! Thank you so much, David!
