Cj and his company are very professional. They respond quickly. Answered all of my questions so I fully understood what was needed for my plumbing job. They had very fair pricing and did a fantastic job. I would refer New Era plumbing to anyone who has plumbing needs. I've used other plumbers in the past for work at my rental properties, but no longer. CJ and New Era Plumbing are forever go to read more

Just came across his business card on my desk and wanted to share my thoughts. Had used him once upon recommendation from a neighbor and he did great work and I was excited to have someone as an option to use in the future. Surprisingly, when I made an appointment with him in the future (which was like pulling teeth if you read my follow ups below) he ultimately never responded to my texts or phone calls to follow up, when he should have followed up with me for setting a date for the appointment, but never followed up again even after I followed up many times. Very disappointing since he did great work, but waiting for someone who never follows up after making an appointment date is not someone I would ever consider to use again. History of texts: -11-25-19: Asked about having work done at 2 locations for tankless water heater service. He responds with rates. Told CJ want to use him again and might have a neighbor, who might want to use at same day -11-26-19 Followed up by text- no response- voicemail full -11-27-19 Followed up by text. Heard back and waiting to schedule -12-11-19 Followed up by text to ask when we could get on calendar -12-12-19 Followed up by text to ask if still interested in 2 jobs since no response. We discuss dates by text and he tells me that he would come on Saturday, 12-28-19 and I give addresses -12-27-19 Followed up by text to ask what time we would meet the next day and which location would be first. -12-27-19 Followed up by text to ask what was going on since no response about time to meet and which location. Never heard back again. read more

We've been using CJ as our go to plumber for years, and I can't recommend him highly enough. Does great work, and has very reasonable rates. In fact at one point he came over to fix our disposal and it turned out we had just turned off a switch. Even though he spent a lot of time with scheduling, getting here, etc., he refused to take payment. Top notch integrity and top notch work. read more

I have a schedule appt with this plumbing company.... new era plumbing for garages disposal, rep name CT he say he is a "Manager " & there no1 above him!!! He literally text me and confirm the appointment for Monday 8/14 (7am-11). Here come Monday , I took everything under my sink , I txt & called him .. I didn't get a responded until 10:08 am. He like "O I made a mistake & put you the schedule for Tuesday!!! Remember I took everything under my sink & I have to go to work by 12pm .. He didn't think it's was a "Big Deal " O well do you want to reschedule or not? I told that unacceptable & bad customer service ... He didn't even sound sincere about it ... !!! Then I asked him I need his boss name & corp office ......He responded was there no one above him.... Then he say again do you want to rescheduled or not ??? That type of behavior should never be allowed to run any business or to interact with any customer!!! The worst company I ever dealt with.... They are horrible.... He will run that business down with that attitude....assholeeeeeee read more

CJ at New Era Plumbing is an easy recommendation. He is well prepared, timely and does excellent work. It is definitely solid plumbing work . The job he did for on our main water line is so clean. Using the correct quality parts. It is what I would consider beautiful work. Thank you CJ - hope I do not have to call you too soon. Glad to know I can. read more

We were shopping around for a new toilet. Got an outrageous quote from another company and wanted a second opinion. My boyfriend's co-worker highly recommended New Era Plumbing. They were very helpful on the phone and we were able to set up the installation quickly and easily. They were very knowledgeable, professional, prompt, cleanly, and efficient. Price was very reasonable. We are definitely using them again and will recommend to friends. read more

Called New Era to come by and check out the plumbing for our new bathroom vanity based on their close proximity and solid Yelp reviews, and we were definitely not disappointed! CJ and his partner (already forgot his name..I'm horrible about that) arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They took a look at our project and quoted us a very reasonable price to which we agreed. They needed to go grab a few parts, returned quickly, and had the job done beautifully in a very timely manner. We will be calling CJ for all of our future plumbing needs and I would recommend New Era plumbing to anyone. read more

These guys are fantastic. After my horrible experience with One Stop Plumbing and Rooter from Whittier, it was very refreshing to deal with professionals. I called them and they came out to fix my water heater same day, within an hour or two. The two guys diagnosed the problem immediately, gave me a quote, and fixed it within 20 minutes. Water heater is working great. Super easy, reliable, friendly, professional, and FAST. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you!!! read more

CJ has done a bunch of work for us from a repipe, partial bathroom remodel, sewer snaking, and more. He is our go-to guy for plumbing issues. He is fair, honest, VERY reasonable. Since he is local to the area, he's knows old houses like ours very well and always is reasonable with solutions. Very personable. read more

CJ was fantastic to work with! We discovered that our garbage disposal was leaking late on a Friday. I called CJ around 4:30 pm and he was at our house within a half hour. He confirmed we needed a new disposal and my husband said he'd pick one up on the way home. CJ offered to come over between 8-9 Saturday morning to install it. At 8am sharp he showed up on our doorstep and the disposal was installed twenty minutes later (the power cord had already been wired). Not only was CJ fast and efficient, he was also polite, professional and sincere. His prices are fair and we'll definitely call him again when the need arises! read more

I had a leak under my kitchen sink. When I contacted new ere, they were willing to work around my schedule. Very prompt in showing up and found the problem was a bad faucet. They went to Home Depot, purchased a new one and installed. All of this in a 2 hour period. I definitely will use them again and refer them to my friends. read more

My realty company uses a few plumbers but I'll always request CJ with New Era. The most knowledgeable, professional and quick response place in LA. He's come out on emergency-middle-of-a-weekend night job and even other times to fix an issue a different plumber caused. The last situation was funny because a different company said I had a 4 hour job issue and I kid you not CJ came and completed it in 10 minutes. He knows his stuff! I would recommend New Era a million times over. He'll always be my first cal. read more

5 stars times 2 for New Era Plumbing! CJ was great! I filled out the appointment request online late in the afternoon and CJ called back within the hour (most other services I've experienced would reply to a request a couple days later at the earliest or not at all!). CJ came over the next morning and replaced our leaky pipes under the kitchen sink and replaced our dripping bathroom faucet. Great, prompt service. CJ is very courteous and professional. We will be calling New Era for all of our future needs! Highly recommended! read more

Great company! I have been in the position to need a plumber a few times in my life, and it's not usually because of something pleasant. The quicker it gets fixed, the better. C.J. (Clarence) of New Era Plumbing has been there for me on a couple different occasions, and the experience has been great every time. Fast, friendly, service, and super fair prices. I am in the real estate business, and I have recommended C.J. to my friends and clients. They have been happy every time. I would recommend New Era Plumbing without hesitation. read more

CJ is amazing!! 5 star plumber. He is honest, caring and knows exactly what he is doing. Not only does he provide reasonable prices, he is always there to provide a helping hand. For example, I called CJ to replace a bent pipe that I was working on for my sprinklers. After completing the job, he gave me great advice on how to better complete the job that I was doing. Highly recommended. read more

CJ is GREAT! I've used New Era Plumbing 3-4 times and been SO HAPPY! On time, knowledgeable, friendly and cost conscious. New Era is the first plumbing company I've used that was familiar with our Hansgrohe fixtures - CJ opened the 3-way assembly with ease, repaired it and re-assembled it perfectly lined up and functioning. They don't let you buy services you don't need and leave the area clean and spotless. I'd highly recommend New Era Plumbing as your new "Go To" plumber. Once you use them - you won't need to call anyone else! They are fantastic! read more

I called to have them come out for an estimate on some fairly major work we needed done. They answered their phone promptly and set an appointment window for the next morning. Unfortunately, they never showed. They didn't call to say they couldn't come, needed to reschedule, nothing. I'd be hesitant to use them when they can't even be relied upon to show up. The appointment was between 9-11 am, btw, which meant taking time off from work and waiting around my house for a no-show. read more

This company rocks! I have used CJ on 3 diffrent occasions for my plumbing needs - replace garbage disposal, install of bathroom pipes and to snake my main drain - everytime he has given me a short window for arrival and arrived within that window! That is important to me because I work too and my time is valuable. His prices are competitive - but not the cheapest - I believe in "you get what you pay for" philosphy. He always delivers great service at a fair price......that's what I want and that's what you'll get when you call New Era Plumbing! read more
