Of course, plumbing issues always happen on weekends or Holidays :^) One Sunday, our drains became clogged, and the toilets would not flush. Soon after, water started coming up in the showers and bathtubs. We called a couple of plumbers, but no one was able to come until the next day, and we did not want to wait that long. These guys are great. I recently moved into a house and the bathtub was old (cast iron!) and rusting on the bottom. I purchased a new tub, faucets, and fixtures, and called Macias plumbing. They were able to remove and dispose of the old tub, check the pipes and replace a couple of old ones, and install the new tub. They also cleared the shower drain (which was totally separate from the bathtub) because it had been backing up. I just enjoyed a bath last night and everything works great. The pilot kept going out on our wall heater and upon inspecting and asking some questions, Ros noticed that the wall was hot and advised that it was very dangerous to use the heater in that state. We turned it off and he and his crew were able to rearrange their schedule and quickly come back the next day to work on it. Once the old unit was removed, they were able to assess that the old heater vent pipe to the roof was damaged and needed to be replaced. We decided to also upgrade the heater and thermostat at that time as well. They made sure we got the best price and quality for the materials needed and the cost of labor was fair. Thankfully also, they were able to finish the project the same day. We just had the house tented for termites which required the gas to be turned off. When the gas department came to turn it back on they detected a leak and left with the gas supply line to the meter locked out. I called Ros Macias Plumbing to repair the line and he was here within an hour. After two days of diagnosing an extremely complex 74 year old gas supply system Ros fixed the leaks and we passed the gas department's check of the system. My bathtub had a small leak and it looked like it was an issue with thr cartridge being stuck. 2 other companies came in and couldn't get the cartridge out and quoted me the price to replace the valve. The quotes were pretty high, so I wanted another option. I explained my issue to Ros over the phone and he gave me a quote for the two options, which was a lot cheaper than the other 2. Luckily his team was able to get the cartridge out (took a lot of work). His team made the effort to get the cartridge out rather than just pushing for the more expensive option. I had a plumbing emergency on Sunday night so I called on Monday morning first thing. I spoke with Ross who was very helpful and accommodating - I had to shut off my water until the issue was fixed and he rearranged some things and got some guys to come out immediately. Plumbers are busy this time of year but Ross prioritized my job. My family couldn't do our normal day to day activities until the issue was resolved because I had to shut off the water. His guys worked clean and did great work, and were fairly priced and the issue was resolved before noon! I recommend calling Macias Plumbing if you need a plumber. Ros and Memo were very responsive. They were quick to return my calls and fit me in to their busy schedule without hesitation. They were also friendly and courteous and the work they did was good work at a fair price. Where i have issue is that they were hired to remove a obstruction in my line, but in the end they left and I still had an obstruction. They did good work in installing access cleanouts as my older system didn't have proper access to reach the obstruction. I dont disagree that the updates my system was needed, only that at the end of the day I still had a backed up system which ended up costing me double to fix. read more

What can I say? I had issues getting hot water to a back unit at my duplex. 2 different plumbers came out to just scratch their heads and tell me they couldn't figure it out and just leave after little to no troubleshooting.
