My faucet had been slowly leaking through a handle. I was able to get the valve out of it but it rotated the handle base with it. Meanwhile, another sink had started leaking through the drain trap. Daniel came out and was able to realign the handle and get the new parts in to fix the leak and fix the drain pipe in the other sink in no time flat. He was timely, courteous, wore booties in the house and charged a very fair price. It feels great having those issues finally fixed. Thanks Daniel! read more

Communication was very smoothly. I appreciated the full transparency on the service I was receiving along with sharing feedback on what was done to fix the problem. I was able to be seen the very next day once I reached out which I appreciated due to the urgency of my issue. Overall service was 10/10. Would deffenitly recomend and call again for any future plumbing issues. read more

No one should go to any any other provider of plumbing services then to this one. My guy was Daniel and he was amazing with the work he provided for me a couple of years ago in 2023. I was so impressed that I called him again to help me with a new plumbing situation that had developed. He walked in and, literally within 5 seconds, knew exactly what to do and my clogup was no longer. I couldn't believe it but seeing is believing. Hahaha. Then he refused any kind of payment. Daniel is golden. Please don't give your dollars to anybody else but to this incredible human being and expert plumber. Many many thanks to you, Daniel. I appreciate you so very much. Definitely recommend Daniel! Very informative, up front and honest. Will be telling my friends and family to call Daniel from now on.

After researching whole house water filter systems, we reached out to a couple plumbers to get quotes/opinions on two systems we were debating between. Ultimately, we decided to go with Daniel. He was super informative and made sure we understood exactly what we were getting prior to making the purchase. I ended up choosing the Springwell whole house water filter system and water conditioner, but swapped out the sediment filter for a multi gradient one and Daniel was able to accommodate with no issues. When it came time to the install, he was communicative, reliable, and efficient. Highly recommend Daniel for your plumbing needs! Reasonable prices as well. We will definitely be using him for all our future plumbing needs. read more

Prompt, friendly, reliable and fair. We will use Golden Rooter for all of our residential plumbing needs going forward!

Daniel is the best!!! I thought my water heater went out, ended up being just the pilot, but it's old, and has sounded like people or animals locked in the water heater closet trying to get out for years, so it was a VERY short matter of time until it did go out, so I had him replace it today, he didn't have to tell me he was able to light the pilot and get more time out of it, most wouldn't!!! Very lucky to have found Golden Rooter a few years ago!!! Honesty with businesses is rare!!! Thank you!!! read more

I took a risk and decided to hire Daniel based off of the reviews here, the pictures, and anyone who puts a dog on their work vehicle seems pretty cool to me. We weren't disappointed! Daniel came to give us an estimate said he'd arrive between 11-11:30am and arrived around 12:15pm, so not bad on timing especially for this industry. He even text saying he was on his way. When he arrived he asked if we'd like him to wear a mask. Super courteous. We needed 2 hose bibs sweated off (changed) and to change the main water shut off as they are old and don't shut off completely. His price seemed fair compared to other estimates $700. He also did a great job explaining the process, so we decided to hire him. He got straight to work the same day. He had to drive to a few places to get some parts and was done within a few hours. His work looks like art! Wow wow!! He did an amazing job! Super happy customers :) read more

Daniel with Golden Rooter is a gem! We contacted Daniel at the recommendation of many people in the neighborhood. He came out to replace our toilet. (The toilet has a double flapper and 2 previous plumbers, plus a supply company, had never seen that before. There was a clog in the actual toilet that they could not get through as well (which was why it wasn't flushing) and everything together could be costly... probably most cost effective to just replace the toilet.) First off, he was very available to communicate with while we were choosing the new toilet. When he came to do the work, he first took time to inspect our current toilet. He asked questions and tinkered with it. Wrapping up the story, he adjusted a few things in the tank, and turns out, we didn't need a new toilet. That was already great news, as I didn't want to contribute to the landfill, but he also offered to take the toilet to Home Depot and meet us there so it could be returned! So kind. And then, he didn't even charge us!!! He said he didn't really do anything. Kind, kind human and really good at his job as well. Highly recommend Daniel with Golden Rooter and we will be calling him for all our needs. 10/10! read more

I am so glad we found Daniel! He helped us with a tricky shower repair and toilet reset. We were beyond impressed with his professionalism. His communication was excellent, he was very fair and honest in his pricing, he was very considerate and left everything very clean (even wore shoe coverings), and was kind and knowledgeable. Not only did he complete our repairs, but he also took the time to explain what he was doing and why, and things we should look out for in the future. We will definitely go to him for any of our plumbing needs! read more

We had a pretty tough clog in my kitchen/laundry drain, but Daniel came in and saved the day. Daniel was very professional and showed his resilience in snaking out this clog. Cool dude, responsive, very fair price, and showed that he is honest & reliable. 100% recommend. read more

Found Daniel through the Cypress FB page, he came highly recommended. I messaged him Monday and he came Tuesday to diagnose. I had sent him a video of the leak so he already had an idea of what the problem was. The bathtub was leaking and he was upfront about the price and possible outcome due to limited access to the pipes. He returned today to make the repair and was successful. He stuck to his price range and took his time. I appreciated his communication and honesty and he did a great job. I would highly recommend him. He will be returning in a couple days to repair another shower. read more

We had a new kitchen faucet we needed installed. Daniel was very prompt with his response time from my message to making the appointment and installing the faucet faster than I thought. Very clean and very reliable. He is a dog lover like me and we have the same breed of dogs, Golden Retrievers! We will be using him in the near future for a bathroom issue. Thanks Daniel! read more

Today Daniel installed a new 50 gal water heater to replace mine that started leaking last nite. I quoted 6 different companies, and his was one of the more competitive offers. But what made me choose him over the others was the time he took to understand my situation and offer the best solution...for me. All the while he literally "educated" me on water heaters to help me feel confident in my decision. Daniel showed up exactly at the the time he promised. His price he quoted is the price I paid. But none of that was the best part. The best part was, he identified each item of my old water heater that was not to code and in fact dangerous. He essentially rebuilt the components around it to bring it up to code. That I appreciated very much. Lastly, as I reviewed the work he did. He was very meticulous in all the details of everything he did. Being OCD, it's something I took notice of very quickly. I absolutely recommend Daniel and his company to anyone who simply wants an honest, knowledgeable and fair professional to take care of plumbing issues for one of the most important life investments; our homes. read more

Very professional and great service . Was here on time and got the job done . Will always use Golden Rooter for our plumbing needs .

Awful business. Lady is super rude and vile. Do not recommend. Wasted time and karma. Update: I finally received a message from Daniel, the owner of the business. He claims that my review was for a different company, which is false. I came to Golden Rooter as a customer. However, they were extremely rude and unprofessional, dismissing me and my questions and closing the door to me. Its not until after they saw this review that they took time to respond back to me, but rather than trying to help, they deny even talking to me! The person with whom I spoke was Michelle, I believe she is your wife. Karma is real, as is the Golden Rule. Treat your customers and everyone else the same way you wish to be treated. Thank you for at least replying back, I have since taken my business elsewhere. read more

Daniel was in charge of my whole house repipe, it was a huge job for a 2 story 56 year old house with original galvanized pipes and it couldn't have been done better. I am so appreciative of Daniel's professionalism and hard work. From start to finish Daniel made sure every aspect of the job was done correctly, he replaced all pipes, new main shut off valves, pressure regulators, new water softener, etc and all walls were patched and stuccoed. I recommend Daniel and Golden Rooter so highly, he is trustworthy and does an excellent job and will leave you very satisfied. read more

I had a problem that looked like it was going to cost a ton of money to fix, but it turned out to be misdiagnosed by another plumber. Daniel figured out the real problem, and solved it quickly and affordably. He also explained how the plumbing in my house was unusual, and gave me a video from his inspection camera going through the pipes. Plus he was diligent to put booties over his shoes every time he went into my house to track the location of the camera. I'm extremely glad I found him. Thanks Daniel! read more

If you're looking for a reliable, professional, fair and honest plumber, look no further than Daniel. We had two jobs for him. The first, unclogging a bathtub drain, he completed for significantly less than the original quote. The second, ended up being a much bigger job than originally expected. Due the age of the house and some other circumstances, Daniel recommended a temporary fix that wouldn't break the bank. Because he didn't fix it to his standards (but it works for our needs), he didn't charge us a dime even though he replaced a part and spent significant time on labor. Daniel is a man of integrity and, now, we have a life-long plumber. I'm confident that if you hire Daniel, you'll be thrilled you did. read more

I was looking to replace my leaking faucet at my house. Yelp sent out numerous requests to plumbers in my area that reached back to me in a timely manner. It's been over an hour and no answer. Other companies were able to give me a reasonable answer super fast. After reading all the wonderful reviews I thought Golden Rooter would be the spot for me, now I feel like its should be called Rusty Rooter and Plumbing. Update: This owner claims me to be someone who I am not. He literally calls his customers that I am trying to sabotage him. This is a legitimate review of my experience with this company. Yelp this customer seems to be getting you to remove his bad reviews. I have a screenshot showing all the other companies who responded and he has not. He left me hanging with no response. read more

This review is a long time coming. After getting subpar service and the runaround from the previous plumber that we have used several times in the past, we decided to give Golden Rooter a call. We are very glad we did! Daniel came out to give us an estimate and was professional and extremely knowledgeable. He showed us deficiencies in our plumbing system that we didn't even know we had, but it all made complete sense in regards to the issues we were having. He was also honest about which items we should probably prioritize to fix our issues, and his pricing was very reasonable. This is literally the first contractor that we've ever had come into our house that genuinely treated our house as if it were his own. He even wore shoe covers on his boots every time he stepped foot inside. He takes great pride in his work, and I feel confident that he truly aims to fix his customer's issues right the first time, without taking any shortcuts. Needless to say that Daniel will always be our first call going forward for any future plumbing needs. read more

A few of my colleagues in the real estate world have used Daniel. Very transparent which is great. I hired Daniel@Golden Rooter and Plumbing to install two new toilets for my home about two months ago. I knew he was a pro from the first time we spoke on the phone. He breaks down the work and the major gotchas in a technical, logical manner, and is able to truly listen to concerns and articulate a clear concise answer for everything. All the while he's never pushy and always says to take his recommendations with a grain of salt, which I can respect that about him. As for the execution of work, Daniel is on time, fast and efficient, clean and thorough. No B.S. His pricing wasn't the cheapest, he's right in the middle (where you would expect smart businesses to be) and I am satisfied with his service. In the past, I've had the half-assed "trust me, you don't need to know how it's done" guys and the used car salesmen amateur hour plumbers do work in the past. I was looking for a good qualified and reasonable plumber for a leak that was very hard to locate. After going through the pains of home warranty plumbers, I took a chance and called Daniel yesterday. Daniel discussed the possible scenarios over the phone and today came over to take a look. My tankless water heater failed heading into the weekend before Christmas. On Friday, I put out a few quote requests on Yelp. Daniel from Golden Rooter and Plumbing was the only one who replied with a suggestion for how I might fix the problem myself - an unexpectedly kind deed. Unfortunately, the reset procedure didn't work, but Daniel was out at the house to assess the issue the next day and had the entire issue resolved by Tuesday. I've only owned the house for c. two years and it turns out the tankless water heater was probably 15 years old and had never been maintained. I'm really pleased with my experience with Golden Rooter and Plumbing. Daniel was punctual and professional and did a great job.
