Nothing earth shattering. Nothing newsworthy. It's a good Chinese restaurant. That's it. We had the server with the short hair sort of an orange tint to it and she was absolutely a robot. Came and dropped off our food came back one time to drop off to go boxes never asked if we needed any more drinks wasn't friendly just very robotic. Had a very rough experience ordering the pu pu platter take out. First it's a bad value at $20 and barely enough food for one person though it's intended for two. The chicken wings were tiny and hard and basically inedible. The chicken teriyaki was tough, overcooked, and flavorless. The fried wonton had a strange color and texture. We've been going to this place for a few years now. Food has always been very good. Service though has changed. Usually, we are served by the tall, Asian man who has to attend to many tables at once. He is always very rushed! The last time we went, we waited for our bill for quite a long time and my husband had to go to the cashier and ask for it. I think others could step in and help the waiter. Two women usually are at the cashiers desk and the manager is visible. However, it does not seem that they step in to help very much. Are two people needed behind the register? I think the manager needs to either provide more wait staff or step in himself to assist. I'm viewing this as inefficient time management! I think we will do takeout from now on. We got takeout from here the other day after a long day of travel driving home from New York City. We ordered around 6:30-7 PM on a Sunday, and they were opened til 9:30 on a Sunday which was a perk. Overall, I was not impressed with the food, everything was just OK. We had a few sushi rolls, octopus sashimi, chicken egg rolls, orange chicken with rice, and a dinosaur egg (Japanese app which is a kani salad ball wrapped in sliced avocado). The dinosaur egg was by far the best thing we ate and was 5/5 stars! Chicken egg rolls were also good, everything else just fell a bit flat. First, the octopus sashimi was FROZEN! I would've rather they just not included it and refunded me for that and said sorry we're out. It was inedible and frankly embarrassing for a restaurant to serve that to a guest. For sushi, we had the spicy yellowtail, philly, and hawaiian roll. Rice was hard and kinda stale - definitely not fresh. The yellowtail - which is my favorite sushi roll - was chopped up real fine like salmon or tuna which I don't see too often. Entree was OK, but chicken was tough and the breading was very hard and was the bulk of the chicken. I should've opted for a non breaded chicken. Food may be better if you eat inside but I was not enthralled with our dinner for 2 for a $70+ dollar price tag. read more

I went here for the first time a few Saturday's ago for lunch with a friend. The atmosphere was vibrant and the restaurant was clean. The wait staff was also very pleasant and friendly. I haven't been here since they were in their old location. Since remodeling, it looks beautiful! I got a takeout order one weekday evening, and service was prompt; I had my order within 35 minutes. My food was great overall. One of my pieces of chicken was dry, but the rest were fine. I was sad my rangoons weren't served with a sweet and sour sauce. Instead I got one packet of duck sauce for all 6, which I ended up not using anyways. They were good enough not to even need a sauce. I'd get takeout from here again for sure. It is unfortunate that I have to write this review. I had made this my go-to place for sushi/Chinese since moving into the neighborhood - foregoing the slightly further-away Osaka. Osaka's sushi is slightly better, but their Chinese was not. New Dragon was convenient, OK with the sushi, and good with the Chinese - notably, larger size shrimp in the seafood dishes. But after tonight, I will never go there again. We purchased about $50 worth of sushi, as well as some Chinese dishes. None of the sushi containers had any wasabi or ginger in it. For some of us, that is part of the sushi pleasure. We lived too far away to go back as the food was ready to be eaten. I called in. The person who answered the phone, and the 'boss' in the background, were dismissive and condescending. "We can't do anything about some missing ginger." "There's only one sushi chef tonight, he's busy, that's just the way it is." I know many restaurants are struggling to staff their establishments, and it is difficult running a business these days. But their response was inexcusable. In contrast, The Railyard -- another local establishment -- has made several mistakes on my orders over the years. Every time, they make it right - with a gift card or more food. I always go back. Sometimes all it takes is "Sorry about this, how about $10 off your next order." Customer for life. But New Dragon did nothing. So they have lost this customer permanently. read more

I stopped in for lunch today at this newly opened location (The old location was torn down so they could build a new Sheetz (Still under construction across the street)). It was very nice and clean inside. There is a limited lunch menu, and I tried the Green Curry Vegetables off of the Thai section at the bottom of the lunch menu. Service was very good, and the food arrived fast. As part of the lunch, you also get a choice of Soup and an Egg Roll (I chose Wonton soup, and a Vegetable Egg Roll). I really wasn't very impressed with the selection of vegetables in my curry (It had Green / Red Peppers, Green Beans, Baby Corn, maybe some onions, and Broccoli (Wished it had Eggplant, Carrots, and Basil)), nor the flavor of any of the food I ate, but it was acceptable. The price was very reasonable, as my lunch was $9.10, before tip. P.S. I asked for no MSG, and ended up with a horrible migraine afterwards ... dropping a star from three to two for that reason ... It seems every time I eat out somewhere I'm disappointed. I'm sick of hearing about we are short staffed and having supply problems. I tried this place today for lunch and the only good thing about it was it was hot. The steamed rice was over cooked, the sweet and sour chicken was barely battered and since the chicken was exposed to the grease wildly over cooked, and the orange chicken was mushy and the chicken was old. If you're short staffed or can't get product simplify your menu. Tell people their food will take longer to make sure to make it right and the highest quality. Serving old food fast and wildly overcooked does not make it taste better. It's a shame. read more

Our go to staple. Our family gets Chinese from there often which is ALWAYS great and fresh. We love the honey walnut shrimp (sweet and delectable) and beef w broccoli, general tsos, and fried rice. Recently had their pad Thai and wonton soup which was great too. After a while we realized they had sushi and tried that too and UNPOPULAR OPINION but we actually like it way better than little Tokyo!!! I know, I know, don't come at me but it's true. I gave it a one star since I did get my order delivered. I ordered Chinese food from the New Dragon in Bridgeville,Pa. yesterday. Worst food I ever got! The Beef Lo Mein had no veggies in it and the noodles were greasy. The boneless spare ribs were not meaty spare ribs but shaved pieces of pork cook until it was jerky! The beef teriyaki was tasteless and had no teriyaki sauce or taste whatsoever. It looked like boiled met! When I called to tell them if I had a car I would return the food she said and I quote " that's our food". No other conversation and absolutely no empathy for a customer. Even if they had offered to comp the meal I would have declined because the food is horrible. So much for planning a couple meals from this order. The trash bag even spit it back!
