Just perfect. The ambiance is FANTASTIC, so warm and inviting. Custom service was everything you would want, so timely and friendly. Sushi roll was set at an amazing price and tasted SO fresh. I will definitely be back. Very clean and comfortable setting. The lemonade was delicious. I am honestly so impressed with the quality and presentation of all the food. The worker who served us was very kind and helpful. 10/10. I love how peaceful the restaurant was, great atmosphere. The quality of this establishment greatly exceeded my expectations and i couldn't be happier about finding this gem. everything was stalked and neat and i felt a strong sense of peace. I truly felt at home and i was so comfortable here, truly did not want to leave. i did not feel rushed to get out of there but instead i stayed and enjoyed my beautifully rolled sushi in a very comforting environment. everything down to the music was beyond amazing. I've genuinely never felt more comfortable, accommodated, at peace, or at home until I stepped into this establishment. I want to personally thank each and every employee here for their excellent service. I just witnessed a mobile pickup and it went so smoothly. The employee carefully and gently places the order on the mobile order shelves with the tag perfectly facing the front. The woman picked up her order with no confusion or any issues. I could go on and on about the comfort and peace that this place brings me. Do yourself a favor and stop by your closest Poke Sushi. They embody everything I would want in an establishment and more. read more

The restaurant is very clean. Easy to make your own bowls or rolls and lots to choose from. They also have ramen and a general tso bowl. We really enjoy it! read more

The food is delicious and everything is super fresh! It has a pretty big menu and it's extremely easy to order. You can tell the place is clean and the workers are very nice! It is definitely an underrated place and deserves more attention! read more

Only giving it a 2 star because the staff was friendly. I was going to give it another shot before I reviewed but I won't be returning. I got the build your own poke. The portions were super small and the amount of protein that added was just unacceptable. I can't believe they charge a $1 per add on and they barely add anything on. I also got a smoothie that was really bad read more

Best food I would come here everyday Come here for the best sushi.

Always smells terrible when you walk in. I would never be able to eat inside this location. Oakland location is far superior. Will close early, but leave staff at the front of house and the open sign on. Half-ass, likely inaccurate, and incomplete nutrition information on select items. Staff seems like they're miserable. No "normal" i.e. fountain, or standard drinks available. read more

Atarashi is a good, quick option for sushi, poke bowls, and bento boxes. They offer a large menu with a variety of options, as well as "make your own" items. I loved the flexibility and customization of the menu, but the food wasn't anything special. We tried a make your own bowl and the crab rangoon sushi roll. Neither were bad but neither were delicious, either. read more

Poke Sushi - Make your own bowl and crab rangoon roll - Poke Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

When this place first opened I was thrilled to see a place to get poke bowls and a quick, casual sushi restaurant in the South Hills. Atarashi is like chipotle for sushi and poke bowls, so you can pick your own toppings and meats. I think the quality has gone downhill in the past year since the first time I had it. The portions also used to be bigger when the bowls came in the black plastic containers instead of the paper boxes they're using now. The sushi has A LOT of rice. I definitely wouldn't get the sushi again at all- if you're looking for quick sushi, run into the Giant Eagle down the hill, the quality is better. The cucumbers are long spears and aren't conducive to a poke bowl. The basic amount of protein isn't a lot, so I always opt to add more for additional charges. The chicken tempura was like a kids chicken tender- not tempura batter at all. Atarashi is now a swing and a miss. read more

Poke Sushi - make Build Your Own Bowl - Poke Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Yummy poke bowl & lots of options!! Ordered through the yelp app and it was ready right on time. There is a shelf inside for mobile orders just like chipotle and Panera. I ordered the Build Your Own Poke Bowl and got raw ahi tuna with half white rice/ half salad blend as the base. I chose the cucumber wasabi dressing and it was fantastic!! If you like the zip that wasabi adds I definitely recommend that dressing! The bowl was big and the price wasn't bad for how much you get. They have lots of "build your own" options which is nice to customize what you order to your liking. They also have grilled chicken as a protein option for those who aren't super into sushi, which sets them apart from other sushi restaurants. It was really empty when I went but it has a similar atmosphere to chipotle and has little bar seats if you want to work or study. Definitely will be back! read more

The food is fresh, delicious and prepared at lightning speed! I do wish there were a few more options for the byo bowls. The service Is fast and friendly and I like the modern look of the decor inside! Highly recommended. read more

I will start by saying the staff is always very friendly. My partner and I used to come here all the time but this recent time it seems things have changed in a bit so good way. We got sushi and poke bowls. The sushi rice was crunchy like the boiled minute rice. They cook the chicken in the teriyaki sauce which you would think would help it. Somehow it's dry. It was just overall disappointing. read more

This was quite a nice surprise! Didn't expect Pittsburgh to have its own sushi / bowl chain but it does. I got the Lucky Bowl that had rice, tuna, seaweed, avocado and crunchy rice bits. Delicious, fresh, flavorful - was very pleased with the quality and speed of service. The staff working were nice and the restaurant was clean. I would come here again and recommend it. read more

so friendly so cute in here. good drink selection. lots of food. the shrimp is fire. Adin and James are awesome.

This is exactly what the South Hills needed! I am so pleased how close Atarashi is to me. Ever since they opened, I've been ordering from here at least once a week. This is essentially the "Chipotle" of sushi in my opinion. Great for when you want something quick and healthy! The bowls, bento, and burritos are phenomenal. The pre-made combos are good, but I love making my own. That way, I can get exactly all the ingredients I love. I also love that you can order online. However, it is my experience that you'll likely get your order quicker if you just order when you're there. They seem to prioritize the in-person orders. I spend way too much money here. But I feel great supporting this local business. I also don't feel guilty eating here because everything is so light and fresh! Highly recommend if you're a fan of sushi. read more

Got salted caramel boba tea and chicken teriyaki bowl. Rice and chicken are old, they taste literally like microwaved food. So hard and dry. Not fresh at all. And boba drink is meh too. Save your money and go somewhere else... the store looks good and clean, give them 2 stars just for the cleanliness of the store. read more

Sushi was great, and the delivery was expedient. When I have a taste for sushi, I will order from here.

This was the absolute worst sushi I've ever had. If in the mount lebo area or bethel park just order from katana in dormont because this was the most savage bundle of fish and seaweed that I have ever put in my mouth read more

Uber eats order. 1. No Wasabi 2. No extra ahi tuna 3. No crunchy onions on meal 4. Rolls were falling apart 5. Tuna had a pale color and very fishy taste 6. Missing sauces 7. One small soy sauce for three rolls Will never order from again. You spend $70 and expect the basics to be right. Buyer beware, this place has subpar product and subpar quality control. I'm actually embarrassed that this place has somehow reached the status of a franchise. This is the 5th time I've edited this review, with each bite something is worse than the prior bite, we've now stopped eating with about 90% of the food left. Sushi isn't like pizza where you can stomach a bad pizza. This sushi is inedible and disgusting! No exaggeration, Getgo sushi is far superior to this garbage. A complete waste of $70. read more

I really enjoy this place. I've ordered from them quite a few times now, and they're always consistently good. For starters, their rolls are huge, which I like because I love sushi so much I can never seem to get enough of it. They give 10 big rolls per order. They also have sushi burritos and bowls, and all the ingredients are always fresh. They also have a lot of options to customize your rolls, so there is something for everyone. read more

I'm a big fan of Atarashi and was so happy to see that it has come to the south hills. It is a fantastic lunch spot and I go here probably once a week. Atarashi is highly customizable sushi with options to fit everyone's taste. They also have fantastic bentos and bowls. Great for a quick and healthy lunch. They also have a really great app. The complex also has Chipotle and Piada, but Atarashi is the gem. read more

We've been missing a fast-casual Asian place in the South Hills, and Atarashi fills that gap. If you're into sushi and options, this is definitely the place for you. They have signature rolls, poke bowls, and sashimi but you can also build your own, kind of like a chipotle but for sushi. The ingredients are super fresh and tasty, with everything you might expect in an average sushi place plus many other options. Special shout-out to the fresh jalapeño, which was a very nice crunchy but spicy touch to my poke bowl. I built my own and it was honestly quite good. The portion size was huge, and I had plenty of leftovers. I will definitely be visiting again to check out some of their rolls! read more

Great quality fish and tons of options for poke bowls. Always fantastic! Very good deal for the price.

we attended our daughters CMU graduation recently and decided to try the sushi at atarashi. food is very good but make sure to ask for no condiments on top of sushi. they had rice crispies looking cereal on the sushi(and they were soggy when we got home) the second time we ate their take outbit was perfect . we ordered a lot too 10 rolls for 4 people but it was delicious read more

I love their poke bowls. The tuna is great. I love their sauces too. You can't go wrong with a build your own bowl.

Great to have a poke place in the south hills! This has been long overdue given how busy this place is.

Delicious and healthy menu items and a good selection for build your own sushi or bowls
