The night before her appointment my daughter told me her nose was starting to run and she thought she had allergies. The day of her appointment, it progressed very quickly to a full blown cold and her nose was really runny. She was concerned about being in a headrest and also about getting the massage therapist sick. I called to see if we could reschedule and was told it was not possible but my daughter could still come in and wear a mask on the table! I explained how terribly uncomfortable that would be and was told there are no ability to reschedule. My daughter was very much looking forward to the massage and since I live out of the area it was an important gift to help her release some of her tension. I asked to speak to the owner and gave my details and was told the owner would call me back. I never heard back and called again on May 13th, 7 days later, and asked again to speak to the owner to try to find a fair resolution for the situation. I was told the owner would call me back but have not heard back from her today. The impression that I get is that they do not care about my business. And if they don't care about my business, they don't care about your business. You may want to rethink using their services if you think you may ever be sick or have an emergency and have to miss your appointment. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of care of the owner of Jaiyen Spa. If I could give no stars, I would.

We scheduled a 75 min hot stone massage, but when I chatted with Lillie about areas of the body to focus on, she customized the massage to my needs and didn't end up using the hot stones, other than a few as heating elements to rest on my body. She and Jin were so kind to adjust the price down as the massage I got was a bit cheaper. As a fitness instructor, I love anatomy and learning about the human body. Lillie is beyond knowledgeable, and super passionate about what she does. I told her that I sometimes get tension between my eyes and she explained that it could come from my eyeglass prescription being slightly off, or it could come from jaw tension and tension in my neck and pectoral muscles! Fascinating! It all makes sense. Loved Lillie's energy and her balance of gentle and firm massage.
