I called to make an appointment for this birthday and owner, Jin, was super responsive and communicative. We scheduled a 75 min hot stone massage, but when I chatted with Lillie about areas of the body to focus on, she customized the massage to my needs and didn't end up using the hot stones, other than a few as heating elements to rest on my body. She and Jin were so kind to adjust the price down as the massage I got was a bit cheaper. As a fitness instructor, I love anatomy and learning about the human body. Lillie is beyond knowledgeable, and super passionate about what she does. I told her that I sometimes get tension between my eyes and she explained that it could come from my eyeglass prescription being slightly off, or it could come from jaw tension and tension in my neck and pectoral muscles! Fascinating! It all makes sense. Loved Lillie's energy and her balance of gentle and firm massage. This sweet spa is conveniently located in downtown Healdsburg, across from the Police Station, just tucked down an alley. The space was clean and peaceful. I can't wait to go back! Her hands were strong and she was able to work out so much tension in my back and legs. I walked out feeling like I could finally breathe again. The spa itself is beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. It's nestled just off 2nd Street in Santa Rosa, and the moment you walk in, it smells absolutely amazing. The whole atmosphere is peaceful, warm, and inviting. I also want to give a shout-out to the lovely woman working the front counter. She worked on my knee and it already feels soo much better. She also told me how to massage that knee at home when I am perhaps watching TV or before bed! I will surely take her advice. She also found my left back shoulder blade was very tense! She worked on it and explained that the stress from my left knee had not only affected my left hip but also my back left shoulder blade! She recommended facial products from Eminence Organic Skin Care based on my skin type, and I've been using their products for several weeks. The experience itself was very rejuvenating. There was a refreshing facial steamer that was running, while Alexis softly and smoothly massaged my face with amazing products. Everything smelled heavenly. Not only was the facial experience great, but also the entire facility and hallway was spotless. The lighting felt so relaxing, and everything was very cleanly. No concerns at all. They also have a tranquility room with snacks, beverages, a television, and comfortable seating. I even observed what seemed to be an indoor jacuzzi (though I did not try it out). I called and asked for it to be fixed. No problem. I arrived a little early, but was ushered immediately into room 1. I asked to use the restroom first. When I came out of the restroom, I was ushered back into room one and the door was shut behind me. No instructions. I figured that I should probably change, so I started to undress. I had gotten down to my underwear when there was a quick knock at the door and the door opened. Someone announced "changing room." I originally thought she meant that she wanted me to undress in a changing room, but she actually wanted me to go to room 2. I got into room 2 and undressed. Still no instructions. There was a narrow strip of cloth, so I attempted to cover myself with it, but it was too narrow. I was still confused a little. I can't tell how long I waited because I didn't have my watch on and there was no clock in the room. The masseuse arrived and asked what I wanted today. Hot stone massage. She meant what part of my body I wanted her to concentrate on. Low back and feet. Ok. She'd do the massage first and then hot stones. Great. Medium pressure. Ok. The massage was a little too hard at first, but I spoke up and she adjusted the pressure. I could feel my back relaxing. Unfortunately, I'm ticklish on my feet and I wasn't able to handle the lighter pressure on them. But it was still a great massage. Suddenly, someone opened the door to room two and started speaking loudly to the masseuse. It was jarring since everything else was so quiet and I was mostly unclothed other than the narrow strip of cloth. No privacy with the door wide open! And speaking so loudly when I was trying to relax was ridiculous. We got to the hot stone part and the masseuse kept dropping the stones. Bang. The wall. Plop. The floor. Oops onto the table. I would have given 5 stars other than the online errors, the wide open door, the loud voices and the dropping of the stones. It was a good massage with a few minor drawbacks.

Sweet! I decided to give them another chance and take them up on their offer. I replied to their email with a proposed date for an appointment. To my dismay, a week passes with no response. Despite a follow-up, yet another week passes with no response. (Scratching head) I thought you wanted to make it up to my Mother and I? After all, you only ruined our Mother's Day last year.
