Chicken chow mien I ordered was good. Would return again for it. Service was quick. Waiting area was nice and clean.

Incredible quick service, warm clean environment, kind friendly team. Our food was so hot and fresh. Dishes made with fresh veggies. Sesame chicken was nice and crispy! Yum! Again please.

Mongolian Beef, mandarin prawns, fried calamari, bbq pork chow mein.

Whoever wrote that this is the best chow mein ever has no taste bud. Literally tastes plain and very oily. The Mongolian beef is one of the worst I ever had. No favor and you can taste the cornstarch. The mandarin prawns are not good. The only thing I like from here was the crab cheese wonton. This place is literally one of the worst tasting Chinese food I ever had. Will not be returning. Staff was nice but the food is not good.

I'm not usually on this far west side of Redding, but I was visiting a friend that lives off the 299 out here and wanted to bring over some Chinese food for dinner. I found this place in a shopping center tucked away in a corner spot. I saw menu already and ordered the War Won Ton soup and the Singapore noodles to go. The wait wasn't long and all packed to go just fine. No cooking tonight, cause it's hotter than you know what out here. Heading for cooler weather tomorrow! Got to my friends house and we decided to be civilized and re - plate the noodles and put the soup in a proper bowl. No eating outta to go containers like some worker working late at the office or something. The food was very good, the soup had tons of goodies in it as well as lots of won ton dumplings. The noodles were flavored good and tasted as they're supposed to. I'd come back here again if I needed Chinese food in this part of Redding.

I understand maybe they are understaff since it's a small family business, but it did affect the whole dining experience. I had the boat noodle, broth is rich with good flavor. My husband had pho, he liked it. The lemon pepper wings were lemony, I wish it would be more peppery. I thought it would be the dry lemon pepper seasoning. The wings were fried very well, really crispy.

I knocked off two stars because the posted prices at the restaurant were a dollar or two higher than those listed in their on-line menu, as well as the dry (I assume they're baked and not deep fried) crinkle-cut French fries. These chips?\fries were unsalted (I can handle that), but they seemed like mashed potatoes that hand been formed by machine into crinkle-cut French fry shapes. They were very dry on the inside, and perfectly tasteless. I've never had chips that were so healthy, and thus, unappealing. Deep fry my chips like every other fish and chips restaurant does. If I wanted health food, I'd bake my fries at home in the oven, while listening to Joan Baez screech out a song about something we all need to feel guilty for.

The entrance was a bit tough to recognize. In addition, the sign requesting patrons to wait to be seated was absent personnel. The youngster arrived while on the phone taking a reservation. Further delay as she coordinated seating for the large group (showing up on Wednesday, she shared). She mentioned they were slow and said I could select whatever table I liked. I ordered a savory martini and filet mignon, mashed potatoes and French onion soup. Soup arrived with the martini and the two could not have been more oppositely received. The soup exquisite, the martini...nearly undrinkable. But to be fair, I wasn't expecting an overwhelming bell pepper flavor. Black pepper Absolute Vodka was the description. I detest bell peppers. I tried to choke down as much as I could, then decided to give up halfway through. The soup was sublime. A 1/4 inch slice of brown toast under the melted Swiss cheese, the broth and onions delicious. I requested a 6 ounce pour of the Caymus California Cabernet Sauvignon with the steak. It arrived with my meat and potatoes beautifully plated. I'm not sure I wasn't served a sirloin. That filet was the shape of no filet I've ever bought or been served. But it was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes were sublime - buttery and flavorful. The wine with less tannins than I anticipated- I really enjoyed that. Service was attentive and both the hostess and my server checked on me. My drive back to Sacramento will be pleasant.

Mac and cheese with bacon, French onion soup and the surf & turf skewers. French onion Soup was DELICIOUS, we added a little salt to the other two dishes and they were really good too. For dinner I ordered the $24 Caesar - it was good and it was big but it was a lot for a basic good tasting Caesar. Husband ordered the Chicken Parm over pasta with a red sauce and he loved it. Portion was huge and he brought half home. For dessert we had the cheesecake and the cream brûlée, both really good. Only downside, if you are dropping almost $200 for dinner, the bathrooms need to be clean and upscale. Mold in the ladies room toilet at the waterline - yuck - and Toilet paper dispenser broken and laying on the floor in the stall. This needs improvement. Overall we were happy with our meal and we will be back.

When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place.
