So grateful I stumbled upon this place. Came here as a walk in on a Saturday morning in an emergency because another nail salon ruined by nails with acrylic tips (way too thick, hurt/cut up nails). This was my first time coming here and I have to say I am not impressed. All I wanted was a pedicure and the girl was washing my feet and I asked her to use the cheese grater looking thing and she said its $7 more I am like $7 more to take dead skin off???? They use that in all nail salons. Then I asked for a fill in for the extension on my toe and she uses some powder with glue to fill it in. It looks a mess!!! This is my go-to nail salon. Joy and the team are so welcoming, and always go above and beyond. The gel manicures and pedicures are indulgent and relaxing, and my colour always easily lasts 4 weeks! The salon is bright and clean, and I really enjoy pampering myself every couple of weeks. Look out for the hot stones pedicure massage and the hot wheat bags that you get on your shoulders! First of all, the types of pedicures they offer are AMAZIING although pricey (but beauty and comfort has no price)! The best pedicure I got was from the man. My mom brought me along to get my nails done today. I don't often get manicures and pedicures done but I must say.. My time here was an absolute delight! I heard from my mom that this place had just recently opened but man.. It was packed! Yet somehow the atmosphere was relaxing and calming during my entire time there. Came here a few days ago with my sister for pedicures! We made an appointment the same day and they were very accommodating for us. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was amazing, they were very attentive and welcoming. The COVID-19 precautions that they took made us feel safe and comfortable. Pedicure and manicure were both up to par -- my nails were nicely shaped and the foot scrub and massage were one of the better ones I've had. Was staying at a hotel nearby for a work trip and walked in around 5pm on a weeknight, they were able to take me right away. I got a soak-off removal of my current powder dip, a regular manicure, and a basic pedicure. Everyone in the salon was friendly, attentive, and detail oriented. The owner (?) kept switching out the warm compress on my shoulders and I got great mini shoulder massages. The gentleman doing my mani even put some protein supplement on my nails before the polish since they soaked off the SNS, very thoughtful. Great experience. read more

This place was very bad, for starters I made an appointment and I was on time but I was not seen until a full hour later. Then she proceeded to to service me and my friend back and forth, our pedicures took way longer than they should have. The part that really upsets me and has led me to leave this review though, is the fact that when I finally was ready for my new set of tips with gel color the woman proceeded to take 3 hours to do them. After all of that she tells me my nails alone were 100 dollars . I've never had a 100 dollar set in my life . She told me she could do a style she couldn't do and charged me for it before it was even done . I told her I didn't want the design anymore and I didn't receive my money back for that . I left with mediocre nails . DONT COME HERE !!!! within 4 days 4 of my nails broke . The poly gel they use is terrible and doesn't hold . Why didn't they do acrylic ? I have no clue . The ladies here are all so nice! The salon is very clean and they always take their time making sure your nails are perfect. I personally recommend the peppermint spa pedicure, the products smell nice and fresh and the massage is always relaxing. Pedicure chairs with clean plastic every time! They have a wide range of Essie and OPI colors, they often have the latest OPI collection. The ladies help with parking and are open at really convenient late hours. I went in for a pedicure. My first question was, "Do you have time for a pedicure?" The response was a resounding, "Yes! Pick your color. Have a seat in that chair." Well, I sat in "that" chair for at least 30 minutes before someone came over. If I hadn't run into someone I knew and been engaged in conversation while my feet soaked, I would have realized sooner and gone some place different. When the young lady came over, she was preoccupied from the first. She spent much of her time looking around at what others in the salon were doing. She took a personal call on her cell phone. And worse, she did a really poor job of filing my toenails after she clipped them and had to be asked to polish my whole nail, not just down the center. Fortunately I have pedicures regularly so there wasn't a whole lot of maintenance I required. But that's hardly the point. I had actually stopped going to New 2000 Nails for over a year because the service is so poor. But as it happened yesterday I couldn't go to the place I usually use and against my better judgement I went back. I won't ever make that mistake again. For the money, they don't provide nearly the level of service and attention they should. And it can be quite frustrating trying to communicate with the staff. At this juncture providing them with ESL training would be a wise investment, as the entire staff is from somewhere other than this country. read more

They also have a frequent customer card, so for every time you come, you get a mark, and after your 10th visit you get a free mani. If you pay in cash, you get a coupon for $1 off. They have a huge selection of regular nail polish, and one of the biggest selections I've ever seen for gel nail polish. They give a great massage for the pedicures, and use hot stones too. I am always a walk-in on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon with no appointment, and I rarely have to wait more than a few minutes for a manicure chair or soak away for 10-15 minutes before someone starts on my toes. The owner, Joy, has made a point of learning my name and always welcomes me by name and with a warm smile whenever I come in. I have tried several other nail salons closer to my home, but this one is worth the drive across town. The salon is clean and professional. They have a nice selection of magazines to indulge in my secret, guilty pleasure of celebrity gossip. And they have nice selection of polish colors to go with the seasons. Everyone is always polite. Most importantly they do a fantastic job, and their regular pedicure includes a fabulous massage with hot stones.
