My previous dog walker canceled on me last minute. I had only half a day to find a new walker before my trip. Panicking in despair I contacted all dog walking/sitting services available in the neighborhood. "Never Alone Pets" was the ONLY agency to respond. They calmed me down and offered several solutions to my problematic situation. Long story short, my baby, my love, my precious 12-years-old chihuahua was in a safe, caring and loving hands. I use "Never Alone Pets" services ever since. Almost every month I go away for couple days, sometimes twice a month or more. I let them know in advance and "Never Alone Pets" always provide a reliable, dog-loving walker! You can choose different opinions with this agency. Twice a day an hour long visits work for my pup. I usually have the same walker, Patricia. Every time she visits I get a picture from the walk. She feeds my dog, changes water, has a playtime, etc. She always fallows all the instructions and even waters my plant and gets my mail while I am away! I also worked with Flavio and others and they are all great! Everyone loves my dog! I am so thankful to "Never Alone Pets", can't even imagine what I would do without their help now! It's always a pleasure to work with professional, reliable, and honest people!

I can't say enough good things about Alex and Damiana! I'm working from home but my dog is very active and needs an extra walk while I'm working. When Alex arrives I am generally doing virtual mental health therapy and his visits are always seamless. I can hear him talking to her outside of the door and sometimes she gets so excited to see him she pees a little. Alex takes THE BEST pictures of her every walk and really loves my dog. I'm the typical over-protective & neurotic pet parent who finds it hard to trust anyone, even family members to take care of my precious 2-yr old kitty - Charlie. He's extremely sweet and affectionate but also very shy and rarely shows his playful side to strangers. You can imagine my nervousness esp with it being a new sitter and extended trip. She made us feel comfortable as soon as we met. She is a true animal lover who cares about every pet whether it's a dog, a cat or a bird. Damiana was able to bond with Charlie right from Day 1 which makes her the Cat Whisperer in my books. Not only did she take great care of him, she also sent us daily email updates complete with a recap of the day, lots of cute photos and even insights into his mood (because let's face it, cats are notorious for being moody!). She never missed a beat and I looked forward to the emails everyday. We were so impressed that we just hired her again over July 4th weekend. Exactly what we wanted in a cat sitter. Great communication! We used their services over the holidays. Damiana and the cat sitter Ana came over before we left town to meet us and our cat. They were on time and very clear in how everything would work. Damiana answered all of our questions and I felt very comfortable trusting them with my cat. You can tell they really are animal lovers. I arranged another day a few days later to drop off our keys. Our sitter, Ana, was easy to get in touch with and did an amazing job of keeping us updated with plenty of pictures of our cat. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a pet sitter.

We had to leave our cat at home alone for the first time since we adopted her, and I'm so glad we contacted Never Alone Pets to take care of her while we were away. Damiana and Alisson were unbelievably easy to reach, friendly, communicative, and accommodating. They came over ahead of time for a short visit to meet our cat--who loved them instantly--and to find out what we needed so there were no surprises. We got texts, photos, and videos of our cat having fun every day with her sitters, and we were able to relax and have a great time while we were out of town. I have nothing but good things to say about this business. I get 3 walks a week from them for my two old dogs, it's really helped them stay healthy in their age. They're extremely responsive and flexible if I need to cancel last minute (or get a walker last minute), and always take special care minding the age related health needs of my girls. read more

I moved to Queens 3 months ago and since then Dami and her sister have taken care of our cat Zelda every time my wife and I have traveled. They are wonderful with her! She gets fed and played with (apparently she loves the laser pointer) and my wife and I always get a handful of pictures and videos of our happy cat! I would never ask anyone else to pet-sit for us! read more

Never Alone Pets is such a wonderful service. When I moved to Astoria I didn't know who to use to walk my precious pup, so I went to my buildings Super and asked who people in the building used to walk their dogs. He recommended Never Alone Pets and I couldn't be happier. They made sure my little girl was comfortable with them and came to my house to meet her in person before we started our walks. They were willing to accommodate my crazy schedule and come later in the evening. They are all so warm and welcoming and my Lexi couldn't be happier. They show up on time, every day, send me pictures and texts as soon as they get her and while they are on their walk and update me on the #1's and 2's for the day. If I ever need a last minute late night walk they always accommodate me without any hesitations. Dami is the coordinator and point of contact for the whole operation and is such a great person to work with. You will not be disappointed. It was obvious when she and Alison came over the first time how much they care about animals. I can't recommend never alone pets enough!! We had to leave for a trip last second and they were able to watch our dog Shyah the same day! We were gone for 3 days and never once had to worry, Shyah was taken on long walks and every time we both got updates and photos texted to our phones. She let us know when she started and ended the walk, if she pooped/peed, and if she ate her food. If we texted her we always got a response within minutes. We are SO happy with the service provided and our dog LOVED her!! We will call her anytime we need a dog walker and recommend to all of our friends. Thank you!!! read more

Dami and her staff are caring and compassionate animal lovers with a great understanding of customer service! They are always available for my dog Delta, whether it's last minute or a planned walk. I receive updates as they enter and leave the home, and a review of how the walk went-with photos!!! It's not easy for me to trust others with my dog but they make it easier because they are so sweet and careful with her. They also follow instructions extremely well (leaving her in or out of crate, playing with her, feeding her, treats and water, etc.) which can put an anxious dog mom like me at ease. Dami and her team are so great! She is incredibly easy to schedule with and I never have to worry as they are always reliable. It's clear that my dog's well being is the top priority and my walkers have gone above and beyond when they are caring for him. For example, there was one day that my dog had gotten sick before the walker (Natalia) got there and she let me know and cleaned it up herself without me asking. I get pictures of my dog throughout the time he is with them which is a huge plus as well! Damiana and her team are amazing. They have very competitive pricing and definitely understand that schedules change. They are always willing to make it work even with very short notice. Karina walks my little monster every day and she sends a picture and a text with an update every time, it's a little detail but it does make me happy every afternoon when I see it on my phone. This service is absolutely wonderful. My wife and I have been using them for over a year now. We found them here on Yelp when we forgot to find someone before last minute for our wedding. Damiana and Alisson were the only walkers in the neighborhood who were willing to figure out how to help us out last minute for an evening and next morning walk/feeding. Since then they have helped us on everything from over nights to 10 day vacations and everything in between. Alisson is wonderful with our 2 dogs. He is willing to meet with you and take the time to understand your dog. We unfortunately have a special needs dog who needs some extra attention on walks and he was willing to take on the challenge. He is also helpful with giving medication at feedings. They also go an extra step and send you a pic of your pups before and after each walk. The prices are more than fair and we appreciate everything they do for us every time we use them. read more

Damiana is far and away the BEST pet sitter I've ever had. Our cat, Roxy, absolutely loves her. Of course she does all the basics -- food, water, litter box. But she also spends TIME with Roxy, petting her, playing with her, giving her a ton TLC. She sends pics and videos every day to let us know Roxy is doing well. After searching for a pet sitter in the Astoria area for quite some time, I came across Damiana on Yelp and decided to give her a call. She arranged to come by to "meet" my dog and cat (and me!) and we discussed walking and sitting arrangements for both pets. I immediately felt relief upon meeting Damiana that I had found someone who is not only very professional, polite and sweet but also clearly adores animals very much! Any time I am away or need Dami's assistance with a walk or a check-in, I am always at ease wherever I may be knowing that my babies are in such great hands. Damiana sends detailed updates and photos, which puts any pet lover at ease when your pets are in the care of someone other than yourself. Dami is flexible with scheduling and is extremely trustworthy. Prior to meeting Dami, I have never felt great about hiring a pet sitter or really sharing the key to my apartment with anyone other than my fiance. My pets absolutely adore her and we do also! Hello! My name is Damiana Biz Meiterman, the owner of Never Alone Pets. Since i was born, I've always had pets, so my love and respect for them has been a lifelong trait. I grew up in a house with dogs, cats, turtles and all kinds of animals. At the age of fourteen I've rescued my first pet from the streets and at that moment I felt in my heart how important it is to me to be involved with pets and animals. That's why I founded Never Alone Pets. I have more then fifteen years of experience taking care of pets, so I take this company very seriously. I have the best team, all of them are animal lovers with experience and excelent references. We are Insured and Bonded. The reason I'm giving them 3 stars is for not offering to at least give us a discount after our dog ingested hard pieces of plastic while in their daycare with Norma. He came home and started to vomit right away and after the 3rd time he did it, I decided to take him to his vet to see if his intestines were clear - if not, his life could have been in danger. I'm glad that at least he vomited them all as seen in an x-Ray and he only needed to take some tablets for his upset stomach. I also understand that we can get distracted while taking care of a puppy, but I didn't like the fact that I spent +$300 due to someone else's distraction and wasn't offered anything to compensate it somehow and rebuild my trust. We have been very pleased with Damiana as our cat sitter! She is a true cat lover. She has been taking care of our cat Tiramisu for about 8 months so far. We went away for a long weekend just weeks after adopting our fur baby, and I was pretty nervous to leave her so soon. I felt very reassured after the "meet & greet" with Damiana, and she did a great job. Tiramisu loves seeing her! She always responds promptly when we contact her about upcoming trips, and was even flexible with us when a winter storm changed the dates of a trip last-minute. Tiramisu also got ear mites some months ago, and Damiana pointed it out to us. We appreciated that and were able to treat them upon coming home. Damiana sends us pictures/videos every day so we know Tiramisu has plenty of food, water, and love/playtime. I miss Tiramisu when we go away, so it's also really nice to see real-time updates of her this way too! Things always seem to be in good-order upon coming home. I don't know what I would do without Damiana and Alisson! When first having to relocate to Astoria for work I was completely panicked with what to do with my large golden retriever. After meeting with several pet care services I was ready to give up but was fortunate enough to come across Never Alone Pets. The initial process itself was amazing! Damiana and Alisson were able to help me right away and even made a late night visit to accommodate my work schedule, to meet with me and my pup to make sure it was a good fit!! Their support has made all the difference in both mine and Aslan's (my golden) lives! Going above and beyond is their normal approach to pet care. With my hectic travel schedule they are constantly ready and willing to help! Additionally, my Aslan has never been happier; he's become healthier because of the exercise and looks forward to Alisson's visits more than me coming home! We requested Never Alone Pets services while we were away over Christmas, to take care of our cat Lula, who has a heart condition requiring medication 3xday. Damiana was extremely professional, visiting us beforehand a couple of times in order to meet Lula and receive all necessary instructions. Since the visits would be done by another petsitter, Camila, she also came along to practice with the medication a couple of times and get Lula to familiarise with her. Lula's schedule is very strict, and Camila maintained it zealously. Both Damiana and Camila kept in touch and updated us daily during our absence. Camila even stayed overnight for the last few days, when Lula wasn't feeling so happy, despite it being during Christmas day. We are very happy and grateful for the care and attention Lula received during the time she was at their charge. Given her condition, we were very worried about our long absence, but Damiana and Camila made us feel that Lula was in the best hands. read more

I work a lot and feel terrible leaving my high energy Shiba Inu alone all day. I have used Doggie day cares and found them to be over priced and less then satisfactory. After meeting Dami I was immediately excited and beyond satisfied. From the in home meet and greets to the photos and communication on every walk, Dami and her team and life savers! I come home and my dog is happy and not bouncing off the walls. I get pictures of my dog outside and happy as could be. Dami and her team and professional, accommodating and very sweet. I was recently stressed about having to board my dog for a destination wedding and again am now put at ease knowing my dog will be looked after and cared for by this wonderful community. 2 weeks before my holiday trip my usual sitter for my dog canceled. I frantically called around and researched on yelp and found Damiana. I called her right away and that weekend her and Alisson were at my apartment meeting my baby boy Taco. We went over what i was looking for and she assured me everything will be fine and my baby will be in good hands.. and She was right!!! HER AND ALISSON ARE AMAZING!!!!!!! Alisson came to my apt each day walked, fed, played, and even cleaned up any mess daily and took pictures twice a day to assure me he was ok. I felt so much better while i was vacation. After searching for months for a catsitter in the Queens area, we came across Damiana's cat sitting services and knew we found someone we could trust! We were always worried about leaving our affectionate & clingy cat when we would need to travel on weekends, but Damiana made us feel at ease. Never Alone Pets is the perfect pet service. We left our 10-year old cat for nearly two weeks in their care. Damiana and her colleagues came twice a day and looked after our cat. We received photos twice a day, and Damiana answered every question we had about her. Our cat also needed two doses of medicine, which were administered without any problems. When we returned, I think the cat's eating area was even cleaner than when we had left! Choosing Never Alone Pets really allowed us to enjoy our trip and not worry about our beloved cat back home. We will be using this service every time we travel and highly recommend it to any other cat owner. read more

Damiana and Alex have been amazing to work with. Since we started using Never Alone Pets, our dog has been incredibly well taken care of. He can be shy, especially with new men, but Alex was so calm and gentle with him he was instantly at ease. He's so happy when Alex comes to pick him up! Damiana is always available for questions, and Alex sends the best pictures of our dog during their walks. He also always checks his water bowl for us if we aren't home and refills it. I've used other dog walkers before, but never anyone or any service I've trusted as much as Never Alone Pets. I would highly recommend!! read more

Im over protective of my dog Manny since he partially blind and has suffered a lot before I got him so naturally I was hesitant when that moment came that I needed a dog walker. But, I am now a believer in dog walkers. I can say without a doubt Damiana and her dog walkers are amazing. Angelica walks my dog and I get a ton of pics of Manny every walk and when I come home hes in such a great mood. I honestly couldnt be happier with their service and everything they do for manny. By far the best pet sitters in the area. We have been leaving our kitten with Never Alone Pets since the start and couldn't be happier with the service. On our big 10 day Cali trip, we received lots of pictures and videos of our kitten twice a day, showing that she was fed and playing and doing well. We missed her so much and the pictures were a really awesome bonus to look forward to twice a day :-) Pricing is totally reasonable and the service is awesome. Damiana is the best! I feel completely 100% comfortable leaving my kitty in her extremely capable hands. It's always nerve wracking to leave your pets when you go away but Damiana really put me at ease. She's extremely communicative and responsive (texting us multiple pictures every time she visited) and I swear she left my kitchen cleaner than she found it. You can also tell she really loves the animals she cares for which makes such a difference. I would 100% recommend you work with her to care for your pet while you're away! read more

Damiana loves pets and it really shows. I immediately trusted her upon meeting her and felt comfortable going away knowing my cats would be well cared for. My sitter Flavia was great and sent me text messages with photos/videos during each visit. Both cats took to her quickly, even the shy one. In addition to feeding and litter, etc. she spent time to play with them which made me feel way less guilty about having to be away for almost a week. I've been using Damiana and her team since last fall and they have been great. So lucky I found them! They have been very accommodating when I've reached out last minute for help and are flexible with times/dates to visit my cat. I love getting the daily texts & photo updates to know that my cat is doing well and is happy and fed. Alisson seems to really love spending time and playing with the animals. I have used Never Alone Pets ,Dog Walking for about three weeks now, and I am thrilled to HIGHLY recommend them. I cant say enough great things about Damiana and Andre! Andre walks our precious puggle 3x a weeks (for the past 6 months) and is so consistent! He never misses a walk, always sends pictures when he arrives and leaves - and most importantly of all is SO sweet and caring to our Bella! Dami and Allison were amazing taking care of my cat, Stella!!! They were so patient when I was unsure of dates for my vacations/holiday time and so understanding when I had to switch days/times last minute! It is impossible to convey how muxh i appreciate Damiana and Alex. My dog is difficult and i thought I wiyld never find help. Instead, Alex rook took time to develop a relationship with my hard dog and treats him with such love. I get photos and updates and he and Damiana have worked so hard to accommodate my schedule. My pit bull Clementine is my world. So when my schedule changed and I realized I would have to hire someone to walk her, I was very nervous. I couldn't ask for a better dogwalker than Never Alone Pets! A few things you might also love about them. Very reasonable rates per walk! Easy to communicate through texting! Flexible can add or cancel walks very easily and without having to pay extra fees! Walks on weekends! Cute pics and videos of your furry baby every walk! Reliable and trustworthy! Damiana and her staff take excellent care of our cat. They're reliable, send photos and updates as part of every visit, and find a great balance between play and cuddle. They provide peace of mind as we can see how our cat is doing, they control environmentals (turning on a/c, for instance), they even collect mail and water our plant.
