Just starting a journey with this company and here we are starting off with a bang. I had a vehicle towed by this company this afternoon to an impound lot (undrivabled after an accident) and reached out, when I was finally able, for some information. They tote '24 hour service' so I was looking forward to getting started on this before tomorrow (it's midnight afterall). As soon as the night dispatcher answered the phone, I asked for a bit of information on securing the vehicle. He (Ben) expressed that he didn't have any information on that and would have to call during office hours. I asked him when those were and he responded 8-5. But when I asked of they were open tomorrow (Sunday) he hung up on me. During the exchange he also included 2-3 'I can't help you's. I have shared this complaint through their email, as well. But wanted to pop in here after seeing some other similar feedback. And if this is an 'answering service' sounds like they don't have 24 hour service and may need to find a new vendor. Carl, when a person calls to explain what happens with an issue you really need to listen to them. Awful customer service, I do not recommend this company. Carl refused to listen to what I had to say, talked over me. I have called the insurance company about this. But Carl doesn't care about his unsafe drivers that he employs. read more

What an AMAZING company!! From the moment I called in, frantic and worried, Chris Ann jumped into action. My son's car had a blowout on the offramp of the freeway. His phone battery was about to die, so I called Nevada Towing to get him some help. I had no idea where the car was exactly, but once I gave Chris Ann some landmarks that my son mentioned, she IMMEDIATELY knew where the car was located. She stayed calm but assured me that her, and the tow truck driver, would be able to help my stranded son. SURE ENOUGH, the driver showed up calm and ALSO jumped into action. Thankfully, the driver was in the area, so my son got help quickly. The driver took my son and his car to the auto shop for a new tire. The team at Nevada Towing REALLY know the Reno area and were able to get my son the assistance he needed. These people are as shady as they come. They will try to pass off rebuilt titles as "clean", the salesman will curse and scream when you call him on his BS, and the owner will flat out lie to your face. Fill up the tank my ass. I made a cash purchase four months ago, they have yet to send the title to the DMV. As a bit of a mechanic myself, I'm fairly certain they fake emissions testing. Customer service operator named Ben was extremely rude from the very beginning of my call and hung up on me while I was trying to explain that I already made arrangements for a long distance tow with a very helpful customer service person a couple days before. If you can't handle a simple customer service job Ben, then you should do the rest of us and your company a favor and just stay home and collect unemployment. read more

Hmm not sure I will be back. Went with a friend she picked out a vehicle but they wanted a month of pay stubs. Well my friend Didn't have that so I decided to cosign for it. Waited a week to get an answero on the loan, no nothing. Then we walked in unexpectedly they refunded my $200 deposit yet with no answer. So something is off about this place and us buying a car here sends red flags. Then he said if my friend put $1000 down we can work something out. I told her don't do it! Something is not right here. Later on she went to a friend's house and told them what happened right away they said bought a truck there engine blew out after a week no refund no replacement. So we will just use uber and take our time. And go to reputable dealership. read more

I bought a 2017 Nissan that was supposed to have been abandoned, that in reality was a salvaged wrecked vehicle (and of course was not disclosed). No bells, whistles, or fancy commercials of auto sales - just good souls at Nevada Tow auto sales. I most enjoyed some free lot time to explore which cars most interested myself. I knew what I wanted, and found it! Professional Shamra of finance/title was a charm (no sexist intent). Bob had previously given me some generous phone time the previous week. Carl did my sale: there was a minor, common flaw with a tire, and he intuitively gave me a replacement tire without me asking! He saved me from a crash on my nervous first test drive, my own traffic error - I have done no crashes in US or Aussie driving! Carl went the distance for me, and I hope to only get more money to go buy a second car from him - when his car lot relocates it will be less visible (moving to the stead/mt. Anderson street area sometime?). I will comfortably give Nevada Tow a future use if I need their services - no hint of car purchase being needy in any way. I have tremendous medical debt, so I did not expect to find a strong car, and while I chose a car with some cosmetic flaws, there were many sharp, classy, roomy, sporty, and desirable cars from which to choose. Carl is extremely expert with car mechanical issues and kindly shared some advice to fix a relatives' car (my own personal task). When I get my NV plate from the nuisance NV DMV, this purchase will be the most pleasant, stress-less, and easy purchase of a US vehicle, for me. I also owe thanks to a lot person who showed myself a previously unknown feature of my car, and charged a "lot" battery on the test run ( good batteries are put into the sold vehicles as some careless shoppers will discharge a battery by leaving doors ajar). Nick with Nevada towing is awesome. My husband and I along with our 16 week old puppy broke down in Verdi on the way home from Utah (home being Lodi CA) after calling AAA for help the 1st company refused us same day service so AAA called Nevada towing and they had no problem sending Nick out on a Sunday afternoon. The young lady (sorry I can't remember her name) called and kept me informed of when Nick would be there. And Nick called to inform me that he was within 15 min away. After the stress of the day he made sure we where all comfortable and took us home. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone traveling thru the area or living in Reno. Nothing but a bunch of crooks. I bought a car for $4000 and it broke down the next day. After talking to them, they told me to go f**k myself. They dont even inspect cars before they are sold. I pulled the motor out myself and discovered that the rod knock was present before I bought the car. The brakes were also out. This was after I test drove it as well. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. read more

Save yourself the trouble and find a different company. We had a vehicle towed from a location to the yard for having it sitting in a location for too long, we paid the fee and had it towed to another location. They said for over an hour they tried to reach us but we have no record or voicemails of such actions. The driver dropped out vehicle on the side of the road and left the key on the bumper, after searching for the truck we found it had been emptied out of over $1000 in tools and such. I called the company and they said it was my fault because we didn't answer the phone they never called. If I could give them one star, I would. read more

I had the worst customer service of my life with this company and I am 60 years old. I recieved their service through AAA for a motor home tow. I was out in the desert waiting to hear from them for over 2 hours after calling AAA. I finally had to call AAA to find out what happened and was told that it would be another 5-6 hours before they could get to me. I was not happy and let AAA know this, since I was 1.5 hours outside of Reno. Reno towing had been trying to contact me while I was on the phone with AAA and when I called them back they said they could make it in 3hours. I felt this was at least a little more reasonable. 3hours later I called them back to find out why I had not seen anyone. They said he must be out there since we can't get hold of him on his cell. He showed up 45 min. later. He brought a flatbed to put it on and it toke him over an hour to get the motor home on the truck after taking off my drive shaft and pushing it out from under the motor home while I saw dirt and gravel getting pushed into it. He said it wouldn't be a problem. I followed him back to Reno having to stop for him to get a drink and then again to measure the height of the truck with the motor home to make sure he could get it through the underpass. We got to the mechanics place in 2 hours. Then it toke 2Hours to get it off the truck and he dug up fairly new asphalt in the driveway and on the street when trying to get it off the truck. They then charged me $600 for the tow(AAA paid half with the premiere membership)(motor homes are towed by the hour). I had an angry mechanic(the asphalt), they never cleaned out or put my drive shaft back on, and I felt this job should have been done in 4.5 hours max. They charged me for 6.There were some definite delays that they should have taken responsibility for and I called the guy in charge to make a complaint. I no sooner got 2 sentences out and the guy started yelling at me and told me it was my motor home and I was responsible for the damage for the asphalt and that I am not a certified tow truck driver and he would not listen to me. He was still Yelling when I hung up the phone. I had a tow from the middle of Death Valley to Pahrump that was a walk in the park compared to this experience. It had been 13 hours from the time I left my home to take care of this, and I returned home. If I could I would give them 0 stars. The only good thing was the truck driver seemed nice, but not sure how knowledgable. read more

Very unhappy with their communication skills (or lack of) and treatment! It is hard enough to go through a traumatic car accident but then to have to figure out where my car went afterwards is ridiculous. The driver of the tow truck had no issues when we told him to fro the car off at the auto repair shop. Then we receive a call from the tow driver after we left the accident site and are told that management told him that he has to take it to his yard and then he will take it to the shop. We are upset but say fine. This is on a Friday morning. Monday morning, I call the repIr shop and they say Nevada towing is waiting for us to release the vehicle and that my husband refused the charges for dropping the car off directly from the accident to the shop. This is made up! My husband was never informed about charges nor did he refuse to pay any! He was told by the driver that he will call management but this shouldn't be an issue. We were never told that we needed to do anything to get the car from their yard to the auto shop so it sat there incurring charges all weekend! When I was informed of this by the auto shop, I called Nevada towing and the receptionist was very rude when I asked for a manager. The manager apologized "...if you felt you were treated that way..." but not for employees rude attitude. She continually repeated that the driver says my husband refused the charges even though I informed her several times that was incorrect. The managers only saving grace was that she emailed me the release forms rather than making me drive there. But that in NO way excuses her employees from their behavior! Such a disappointment.... will never go back for any reason. read more
