I guess you could say that the good (being the parts puller that helped me) made up for the horrible (being the sales guy, I believe was named Chris) I was talked to by Chris like I was a total idiot and honestly was about to walk out dissatisfied and without getting what I needed. He seemed to have something on his mind irritating him that had nothing to do with my transaction and was too unprofessional to have a good customer service disposition despite whatever it was. He challenged my information about a tire's size: "Who told you you don't need those numbers?" after I explained to him that I needed an R60/15 tire and was told I didn't need the numbers in front of those numbers. I wasn't about to respond to such a mean question obviously designed to argue with me, so I simply said, "Somebody who knows." He then said, "Well then, I'm an idiot," and hung up on me. Why are so many men in the automobile industry such JERKS? It makes the survival aspect of owning a car that much worse. TERRIBLE - DO NOT TRUST, here's why: Bought an engine from them, and I thought is was suspicious when they "couldn't" tell me the mileage of it, or any engine they sell. They claim that they test oil pressure and compression instead of noting the mileage of the vehicle it came out of and gave me this speech about how that is a better indicator than mileage. - OK, fair enough, that does sound logical... they claimed the engine had 40-50psi oil pressure; and 140 compression avg. per cyl. - after driving the vehicle for the first time after putting in this engine... I immediately knew there was a problem. vor a V8, it has NO power. barely go 40 up mccarran, and the factory oil pressure ga. kept falling to zero and warning flashing... so I hooked up a mechanical ga. and saw that it has 14 psi oil pressure.... BIG difference then the 40-50 they promised. The engine knocks, and has no oil pressure, and no power, I'm sure it probably wouldn't make it across town... so therefore I cannot drive it... After saving and saving for the engine, and getting screwed by these people makes me really apprehensive to buy anything from them, especially when they directly lied to me. They gave me false #'s as to the condition of the engine. What would be the matter with simply giving me the mileage like I asked? the answer to that is it probably has 200,000 and they knew if they told the real mileage, noone would buy it. read more
