They said it would only take 20 minutes. We waited well over half an hour in person. They knew we were there and would not help us. The staff were slow and very rude. The woman finally processing the application refused to adopt the pet to us and acted very, very self-righteous about it. She tried to push another pet on us that we did not want. So we found a good pet and cannot have it now. I have two very disappointed children. They wasted a ton of our time for nothing. Maybe we should shop and not adopt a rescue if they are going to accept so high and mighty about things. There are other, better shelters to visit.

Due to the trauma on his body and brain being deprived of oxygen he experienced a common disorder called icu delirium and goes away with time. When discharged my father was sent to a rehab facility and due to immobility concerns needed a long term care. We called this facility and was denied due to a medication he was taking for the delirium. Mind you my fathers mind is clear he is able to make financial decisions, and using his laptop computer and cellphone. This facility only cares about money and nothing about patient care. We chose this facility because it has a lot to offer but to be denied over one medication is insanity. They also claim they offer memory care services for patients with Alzheimer's and dementia. If you were to ever look into there medication history you will find the pages of medications for mental health and mood stabilizers. Don't go here they really don't care about helping our community.
