Turned my entire family onto Nepresso - the product is truly exceptional - and my first experience at this boutique location was efficient but a little stuffy. In my opinion, the staff had an air of exclusivity about them that I picked up and turned me off a little. The customer service team was more than happy to rapidly fill my request for a few sleeves of capsules and I understand that they will also recycle your used capsules on request - nice green touch. The ambience is professional and discrete with dark patterns and partitions for different sections of the store (sample here, machines, capsules). I could see myself returning to the shoppe when I'm in the area, but the Nepresso online ordering normally does the trick. read more

PRODUCT: wonderful! (hence the 3 stars) BOUTIQUE EXPERIENCE: quite poor. Management has allowed this boutique to be brought down to the level of an average, non-specialty store. Their sampling station or coffee tasting bar is perpetually out of commission: the "barista" is either unavailable or off-duty; and often times, the counter is cluttered with a stack of brown boxes. My new obsession. A friend of mine served me a cappuccino one day and I asked her how she made it and she told me she made the espresso with her Nespresso machine. I was immediately intrigued. She showed me her machine and the capsules and I knew I needed one. I was amazed at how quickly the machine heat up, how fast it brewed, the quality of the espresso and the auto shut off feature. I knew at that moment that I needed one. Fast forward a few weeks and this dear friend gifted me with a Nespresso Pixie and I use it multiple times a day. The Nespresso Boutique at Tysons is well appointed and has every machine, capsule and accessory you want and more. The employees are super professional and knowledgeable about the product. When I was last there, I bought a limited edition Columbian capsule, the Aurora de la Paz and the Ciocattino. They also made sure I was signed up in the Nespresso Club so I could get updates and notice of sales. Lastly, I found out that they have a great recycling program and give you a UPS bag to fill up that fits 200 capsules that you just drop off once it's filled. I can't wait to visit again. I received the best ever coffee buying experience and customer service ever here!! I got the mini essensa machine, so it came with some starter pods. I went to this store to learn about the different kinds of pods they offer. I was greeted so warmly by the sales lady there. She showed me a chart of all the coffees they offer for my machine, and said that the best way to know what flavors I'd like would be to taste different ones. So she made me 4 different cups of coffee so I could smell and taste them side by side. She was so funny and thoughtful, when she said that I didn't have to finish drinking all the cups, just taste them, so I would not bounce off the walls at 2am in the morning, haha. She even showed me how to recycle the pods, through there recycling program, bc she said it is good to save the world. So I bought 2 kinds of Lungo pods, bc they were double shots, I like a lot of caffeine. And I also got the chocolate espresso pods. All in all, I had so much fun tasting all those flavors of coffee. We've been long time Nespresso customers and fans, but the boutiques have lost LOTS of luster in our opinion... Long before the Covid issue began, they stopped making any pod we want to try when coming into this location, which we found very unreasonable, as we taste to know what to buy. They simply picked a pod and made a bunch of small cups of it and sat them out for customers to pick up... this is very poor compared to how they built their brand! But recently we visited, during the Covid restrictions and while we were happy they were open, we would have been MUCH happier simply buying online rather than driving an hour to this location. There was only one customer in front of us at a cashier, buying their coffee and there was another employee on the register next to them. We still waited about 10 minutes with him typing something in the computer before he even looked up and acknowledged us and ultimately took our order and cashed us out. If it wasn't for their very good coffee, I probably wouldn't even stay a customer. But I've no longer got a reason, nor desire to come to this boutique. read more

I'm so happy there is a Nespresso boutique not far from me. Customer service here is great. The staff remembers us from previous visits. They're also very knowledgable about their products. Super happy with everything about this store. I love that there coffee tasting bar. Even though we are repeat customers we still get to enjoy a nice hot beverage whenever we come in. I'm new to the whole cult of Nespresso, and so it was super helpful to get a chance to try some of the flavors in person before committing to buy a full sleeve (or many sleeves) of them. The store itself is a little weird. Despite it being a busy Sunday, we happened into the store when it was empty. Strangely, no one offered to help us for a few minutes, and just let us wander around. Eventually, one of the guys at the tasting bar clued us in to the fact that you could indeed sample some coffee. And thus we did! I tried a number of the limited edition and single origin that weren't in my little intro pack, and it was a great learning experience. Unfortunately, the period of calm didn't last and soon we were surrounded by (other) caffeine-crazed lunatics shouting for their own samples. After battling our way out of the scrum, I bought a bunch of capsules and may never need to sleep again. So why not 5 stars? A little more attention is needed going entrance to the store, and a little more diversity on the staff - 7 black-haired, vaguely Euro-trashy dudes kind of freaked me out. read more

I ended up staying here for 2 hours because the associates didn't want to help me. There were 2 bubbly girls who were energetic and super friendly but I got assisted by the slow manager and Dede. No one greeted me when I came in and I had to ask for assistance when I was finally the only customer in the store. Without really asking and hearing what my wants and needs were she recommended the Vurtuo Plus when I said I was looking for an espresso machine. The manager took nearly 30 minutes to grab the machine that wasn't even in their off site stock. When we finally purchased all the pods/ sleeves and the machine, he told me what the bundle deal was and what the mini machine is for. For someone who asked for an espresso machine and explained that there is no need for coffee or lattes, why was the Vurtuo the recommendation instead of the classic mini. I wasn't able to get my money back for the sleeves but had to purchase more sleeves since the mini cost less and I guess sleeves are final sale or store credit only. In the end I got the machine that I was looking for and several flavors, however my experience was horrible. The only reason I went to the store was because I wanted guidance about the machines instead of ordering it on Amazon, but the associates could not meet that expectation. read more

I absolutely love this store! I walk into the Tyson's Nespresso, with all the different color pods make it look like a candy store. :) I have my all the me favorite that I always buy. At the moment, Cafe Cuba is limited edition, absolutely love it. My usual pods are Elvazio, Odacio & Melozio :). I also get the decaffeinated pods with few some espresso pods. Wow, I have joined the Nespresso bandwagon. I bought my VertuoLine machine approximately 1 year ago, and I have been obsessed ever since. I was lucky enough to get $100 in store credit with the purchase, so I have been able to try multiple coffees and espresso combinations. Whenever I have friends come over and try the nespresso machine, they fall in love as well. The store is actually very easy to navigate, but usually pretty busy. You walk in, and nobody is really there to greet you because it is so busy. You can walk to the back of the store, and there is the tasting station. You can pick any espresso or coffee, and they serve it to your complimentary. It is served in a glass nespresso coffee mug or nespresso espresso glass. You can choose with or without milk, and there is sugar as well. Brewing the cup is actually very quick, and the employee is well versed in the different options you can choose from. This was a great experience! I had no complaints at all. You should definitely take advantage of this before you buy a whole full sleeve of pods. The check out process is actually fairly easy. The employees are knowledgeable about the promotions and can help you. There is very little up-selling, and you just get what you want to buy. Now, why not 5-stars... well, the store is small and there is very little area to actually drink your complimentary coffee or espresso at the tasting area. The employees seem overwhelmed, and there is not much personal service because of it. Check this place out... even if you just want a free cup of coffee!! read more

The hours at this store are ever changing and erratic. They are completely closed some days, partially open others. We arrived at 6:05pm on Saturday night and the doors were locked. There was still a line inside. Explained that we had driven 50 miles to get there. The response was "drive back tomorrow." No thanks. Never again. Cheaper and easier to order from Amazon. I went to the Tyson's location with my wife on April 7th to buy coffee. The so-called 'Boutique Specialist' Heidi had a particularly rude and discourteous demeanor. She was very dismissive and twice snatched away the list of coffees on display in front of her when my wife attempted to make a selection. At Christmas time I purchased a Nespresso Next coffee machine It worked for a couple of weeks but then it started to malfunction to the point it wouldn't start. I called their customer service and they went through a check list. It was found to be defective. They had a replacement to me within three days. After setting it up it ran for three days before similar troubles happened. Again I called customer service and they checked it out and said the switch was defective. They shipped a replacement but for some unknown reason it didn't ship until I called 1ten days later then it arrived in three days. This machine didn't work from the time I received it and set it up. I called customer service right away and after trouble shooting the advised me to return it and they will change models to a Nespresso Plus. After fourteen days I called and they said they would check with the warehouse. I received it three days later. It seems to be working great sense I received it three days ago. The problem is that the operators manual sent with it was for the Nespresso Plus and Nespresso Next machines. A small portion was devoted to the Nespresso Plus Machine but the remaining of the manual was devoted to the Nespresso Next machine. I asked Customer service agent How I can get the manual for the Nespresso plus machine and she directed me to their web site. She said they couldn't email it or send it regular mail. I will print it off their web site (60 pages). I will have to say that the Customer Service agents are the best I have dealt with they seem to be doing the best they can for the information they have. If I have trouble with shipments they can clear it up quickly. Because of them I will continue with this company read more

We were in the Tyson's Corner mall Nespresso boutique around 4:30-4:30pm today and told the greeter we had a pod coupon and were there for pods. We approached the sample counter in the store to look at the pods available and pick out one to try before buying. At least 5 minutes went by without anyone approaching to assist us. Meanwhile there were three young female sales people huddled together near the front of the store chatting with each other and ignoring us. We walked out without purchasing. read more
