I stumbled upon this place while waiting for my car to be washed and I was pleasantly surprised! First, the outdoor patio is adorable. The fresh flowers, cafe tables and chairs really transports you out of LA for a bit (just pretend you don't hear the traffic on Ventura Blvd). The cafe inside is small and I was originally sad I had to sit on the patio because it was a little chilly, but once I sat down I immediately felt immersed in the French environment they created. It was a perfect spot for reading a book with a cup of coffee! Second, the service was great. They were really knowledgeable with the menu and had quite a few recommendations when I wasn't sure what to order. The menu is pretty big, but they didn't make it intimidating. I also didn't have to wait too long (there was only one other group in the cafe and they already had their food). I got my coffee, which was fantastic, and my food only took about 5 minutes to get to me. There is a sign that says it can take up to 40 minutes to get food during peak hours- so beware! (I'm assuming their kitchen isn't crazy big, which is why it takes awhile) Third, I thought the food was great! The portion sizes are, in my opinion, huge. I ordered the Crepe A L'oeuf as recommended as a breakfast crepe and it was very tasty! Overall, I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this cafe for a lunch date, catching up with friends, or just to relax and have a cup of coffee.

Plants matter more than the patrons. I stopped by this cafe on a whim. The outdoor patio has an abundance of plants, which makes the cafe warm and inviting. The inside is cozy, so taking your order to go or eating outside are better options. They have a bunch of knick knacks and hats, presumably to give off a french vibe. I kept it simple and ordered La Tomate Omelette that comes with salad and fresh bread. The salad was light and refreshing, while the french omelette was overcooked. It reminded me of a dry diner omelette, only worst because it was thin. It was nice that they give a fresh loaf of bread, but not something I want.

Cute little quaint cafe on Ventura Blvd.... Another spot on the Blvd that was an amazing experience. We notice it while driving around trying to find a brunch spot. We noticed the umbrellas and tables first. It's a cute little French bistro cafe that offered good food. There's a couple of seat inside but majority of the seating is outside. Perfect for an afternoon of people watching and grabbing a nice meal. Potted plants offered that nice bistro vibe. There's also plenty of desserts that was offered as well as a little shop. Trinkets and such was offered. Pretty good place that we stumbled upon. Everything is made there to order. Food was great as well as service.

If you're looking for a small, cute place, this is it. If you're looking for superb customer service and delicious pastries, this is not it. When I walked in there were several employees working diligently, which I respect, but a simple "Hi, welcome" would've been nice. Instead, I stood there waiting for a few minutes while being completely ignored. I ordered a pudding that looked to die for. They heated it up and served it in this cute little plate so I was really excited to try it, but when I took a bite I wasn't too impressed. It had good texture but not much flavor. Not terrible, but not memorable either. I didn't try their other food so I can only speak on this one pastry. I would've loved to come back and try other stuff but I just did not feel welcomed.

Nutella (strawberry / banana) crepe and the salmon crepe!

Amazing service, food, and atmosphere! The crepes were super fluffy and the ingredients were super fresh. Would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could, and will definitely be back! The staff, Lauren and Alma, are super friendly and very attentive.

Great food, superb vibes, quaint and cute. Love coming here for a latte or a brunch type situation. Great service super nice employees. Music is always great too. My friend loved her chai latte and I was obsessed with my latte too. My friend had and Omelet and I had a crepe. 10/10

Cute cafe on Ventura Blvd with not so cute customer service. I have been here twice and both times had a very unfriendly service from the employees. My first time here I came in with a friend for cappuccinos and crepes. Both were delicious and we loved it. We got the Nutella crepe and added bananas and strawberries. DELISH!!!! The second time I came in for breakfast with my husband and was very disappointed with the food we got. It was tasteless and the baguette we got with our omelette looked pale and not appetizing. It's a French cafe you would think they would serve a good baguette. So we ordered another crepe since we didn't finish our Omellete and egg salad tartine. I might give this place another try and order something else next time and hopefully meet a friendly team member.

If you're looking for a dog friendly place for lunch with delicious sandwiches, a very friendly staff, and quaint ambience, this cafe is a great place to consider. Oh - and the selection of desserts is awesome.

I've never seen so many rude people in one place. One of the eggs in my food was clearly not fresh and spoiled. I tried to explain to them it didn't look or smelled fresh and the manager looked at me in the face and said: "I don't know what you want me to do". Never offered to fix the problem. I politely said, don't worry about it and gave her the plate back. She got all worked up and rudely answered: "I won't " and walked away with the plate that later was slammed against other dishes inside. I work in the restaurant business myself and I would never dare to be as rude to the customers like the 2 blonds in there were to me. If u are the owner be aware of ur servers killing your business! Have a nice day!

The interior was very clean with exposed brick and lots of earth tones. Ordering our food and drinks we saw that the work area was clean and organized. From the moment you step in, you can sense the hard work, pride, and meticulous attention to details. Cleanliness feels like a top priority. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly, creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The food itself was absolutely great--fresh, carefully prepared, and made with love I can tell. The flavors were great and quality was high. Prices are fair, which is always a welcome surprise. All in all, I'm impressed enough to become a regular for lunch. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I do remember seeing that it's a coffee shop as there were people working on their laptops every time I've walked by. Well what caught our eyes, they were offering 2 for 1 wine during the art walk. Well, that was a no given that we needed to stop by to check it out. The place is quite cute. Dim lighting in the lounge area. Tables with a candle light and lightly dim throughout the whole place. Seating right when you walk in as well as and some table outside. The second room or back area is where you order. There's a glass displays with all the pastries. Not only a coffee shop, but a wine bar. I honestly didn't know that they offered this. There was a good selections of the reds available for the 2 for 1. Pricewise, it range from 16.00-18.00 a glass. As it was the art walk, it was quite busy. You order, which the gentlemen that was taking orders was quite friendly. All the staff member were friendly. After ordering, you just wait till your drinks were brought out and names were called. Also seat yourself. The concept with wine and coffee is quite smart as it brings everyone in. Then we saw a tiramisu French toast on the sign and gave that an order as well. If you come here, I feel you need to get both the huevos rancheros and the chilaquiles. They actually balance each other perfectly. Both of the flavors are just so well crafted, plus you get so much avocado with each of your dishes. We were really excited for the tiramisu French toast though. Our order came out looking like pancakes, but it was okay, because these pancakes were made extremely well. They don't have the same texture or density as normal pancakes. They taste a lot better. Plus how they combine all the ingredients is especially lovely. Would come back after going to the airport. Service is great and everyone is so kind and attentive. Ambiance is either indoors or outdoors so you get your choice of where you want to sit. I guess my experience initially started over the phone when I spoke with Suzie to confirm their hours. She also mentioned to me that the bakery was open until 8pm today but the kitchen closes at 5. That was helpful information that wasn't listed online. We got there around 4pm and easily found parking in their lot behind the building. There are plenty of spaces and also street/residential parking. Upon entering, there was an immediate vibe shift from the outside world. It was almost dead silent inside, with no music playing and no regular restaurant chatter/noises, either. The place is fairly big/spacious but had an extremely cold atmosphere. Their Christmas tree was still up along with some other decorations, but the lights of the tree weren't even turned on! I feel like the ambience here could've been a lot more festive and welcoming with the lights and some music. The place itself was pretty clean and the bathroom (one gender-neutral unit) was spotless!! Oh, there is also a patio if you choose to sit outside. We were greeted by Alma behind the counter and she was genuinely such a sweet, kind, and helpful person. She knew her job very well and was able to answer any of our questions about their menu. To share, we ordered their famous Ajarski (plain), along with a large vegetarian pizza. My son got himself the Grilled Chicken and Garlic Wrap, however he subbed the tortilla for sliced sourdough and got salad instead of fries. I got the Grilled Chicken Panini that came with Mozzarella Cheese and Pesto, also with salad. The Ajarski and Pizza are baked fresh per order in the pizza oven, so they require a few extra minutes. I believe it took about 15 minutes total. The sandwiches came out sooner than that. Honestly, the food here was just...mediocre. It certainly wasn't awful but it just wasn't amazing by any means. It was kind of BLAND and everything just felt like it was missing something. Both of the grilled chicken sandwiches were pretty dry and the chicken was overcooked. The side salads were decent. The pizza felt noticeably underdone, like it was heated just enough to melt the cheese, but not fully baked. The dough was flimsy and not sturdy nor crispy. For me, the Ajarski was the highlight! Delicious cheese filling baked into a soft, tender dough with two runny eggs baked into it in the center. When you cut into it, the yolks start oozing out and you can use the bread to soak it all up. It was DELICIOUS! I would say the portion sizes were appropriate for everything, however the prices are a bit steep! Our total for these 4 items came out to $71! For dessert, my son and I decided on 7 different pastries to sample. I also wanted to have a latte, but Alma told me they don't serve any decaf coffee whatsoever, so I just stuck with my water. I don't know what this is about - I've been noticing more and more places that are eliminating decaf coffee from their menus. Why? Not all of us do well with caffeine, so it is important to keep it on the menu in order to please everyone. As far as the actual pastries, we got the Cream Puff (incorrectly labeled as Chocolate Eclair), 2 round Peach pastries (filled with buttercream), and one slice each of the following: Tiramisu, Mikado, Honey Cake, and Bird's Milk. They have an EXTENSIVE pastry case full of traditional pastries that we all know and love, and some lesser-known desserts from Armenia, Russia, etc...I grew up on a lot of these sweet treats so it was nice to revisit them after many years. We tried a bite or two of each one and they were all yummy but also a bit overpriced in OUR opinion!! 7 pastries came out to $31. Altogether, already a $102 bill for two people and some leftovers for tomorrow. Hey, we did also get a free Armenian calendar out of it! I'd also like to thank Katherine who was helpful and pleasant, just like Alma. We accidentally misplaced the receipt for the food and she was able to reprint it for me. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but it was missing that WOW factor for me!! It was slightly underwhelming but I might give it another try sometime in the future.
