My family and I have been to Muffin Can Stop is numerous times. We've seen Belle Bakery Cafe but never tried it before. After checking out the reviews and pictures on Yelp, my wife and I wanted to try it out. Upon entering the restaurant it had a cozy feel to it. Right away you see the encased section with all the pastries. Everything looked so good, especially the cinnamon rolls. I ended up ordering the breakfast sandwich on a brioche bun. I would give the breakfast sandwich a 10 out of 10. The flavors of the fried eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese and aioli on the brioche bun was perfect and full of flavor. I would definitely get it again. The staff were also friendly and attentive. They didn't make you feel rushed at all. read more

Love Belle Bakery! Anytime I go elsewhere and have a croissant or a pain aux raisin, I think "Not as good as Belle". I particularly like the ham, cheese and jalapeno croissant or the breakfast sandwich for something savory and the almond croissant or pain aux raisin for the sweet. I have heard good things about this Bakery/Cafe, but never had the honer to try them out. Living literally 5 minutes away from this gem, today was my 1st time trying this Cafe and was very pleased with everything!:-) Walked in and I had to look around for a minute to enjoy the cuteness of this Bakery/Cafe. From all types of goods: starting from breakfast, brunch, lunch.Fresh pastries, cakes, baked bread, coffee, tea, bottles and cans of drinks including water. Place was so pretty and quaint... with sofas, few colorful pillows, books for kids/adults and beautiful art work on the walls. Truly a delight. Lovely.:-) Chill Ambiance, and VERY CLEAN!!! Grigor the (owner) took my order and was very patient, nice, kind, professional and helpful. It took me a minute to know what I wanted to eat, because I was more in the mood for breakfast than lunch. So, I got their breakfast sandwich that came with egg, bacon, Swiss cheese on a baguette. I also got their butter croissant, and blueberry muffin. Let's not forget the cool, delicious decaf vanilla ice latte. Was soooo refreshing on a hot summer day. Everything was SO FRESH & DELICIOUS!! Met with a friend at Belle Bakery and had a nice time. The girl who took our order was really sweet and helpful. I didn't realize until 2 plates came out, but we were charged for two tuna sandwiches when we only ordered 1 to share. We only ate one and took the second one to go. We enjoyed the food, but nothing about it really stood out. We also got an oatmeal cookie, croissant, and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was delicious!! Coffee was easily 5/5! Delayed review: We had rosemary chicken sandwiches catered for a family party in June, and I cannot state how delicious and beautifully packaged they were. Each half sandwich was individually wrapped with care, and a store sticker sealed it beautifully. This is an old-school coffee shop tucked into the more modern part of Studio City. A big plus is the ample parking and outdoor seating, which is always a win in this area. Inside, the space is a bit smaller, likely due to ADA seating requirements, but it still works. The service was quick, and even though I only ordered a coffee on the go, the cashier and servers were genuinely friendly. The price point does run a little high, with something like a veggie burrito at $15, which is above the usual for similar spots. We dropped in on a Sunday to grab some sandwiches to go. Only two people in front of us, one an uber eats p/u and someone ordering food/coffee. There were two people behind the counter and maybe someone in the back. It just seemed a bit disorganized and took a bit for anyone to take our order. We did finally order and I think the person in the back made our sandwiches. It took about 20 minutes from when we arrived. But I will say our sandwiches were very delicious and large! I had the classic (with turkey and cheddar) on a croissant. My husband had a hot pastrami and pepper jack on a roll. So I'll say they redeemed themselves by the wait in how yummy those sandwiches ended up being. I've been coming here for more than 30 years but just walked out from my very last time. Everything is now so overpriced. I spent $27 (before tip) on a small oily croissant breakfast sandwich (thank goodness I asked for the aïoli on the side!!) and a cup of coffee and they wanted to charge me extra for a coffee refill. We were en route to my brother-in-law's home from the Hollywood Burbank Airport when we stopped for a quick breakfast snack at Studio City's Belle Bakery Café. My brother-in-law mentioned this family-run bakery had recently changed hands. He said he couldn't compare the flavors with the previous owners' products as he had never tried them before, but since eating here, he exclaimed that their croissants were worthy warriors in LA's croissant wars. With that claim, we wouldn't pass by without trying a croissant and freshly brewed coffee beverages. As soon as we entered the boulangerie, the counter girl/cashier heartedly greeted us, and our eyes focused on their display case. The display case was filled with sweet and savory croissants and bread loaves. Also, the air was filled with the enticing aroma of baking bread. After gazing at the menu board, we got different baked products to pair with cups of black coffee. I chose my favorite almond croissant or croissant aux amandes that was humongous, generously topped with sliced almonds, well-laminated buttery dough layers, with marzipan filling. This breakfast treat had a wonderful airy, flaky, or layered texture without being overly sweet, with a crisp exterior that shattered with each bite. The dark, rich coffee brew balanced the slight sweetness of the marzipan. Meanwhile, my husband chose the chocolate croissant or pain au chocolat. The flaky rectangular croissant was still warm, and the dark chocolate bar filling appeared soft and melty. My relatives chose a savory ham, cheese, jalapeño croissant, and sticky pecan bun. From what I could gather, the ham, cheese, and jalapeño croissant was filled well and showed its signature croissant structure. Lastly, the sticky pecan bun looked gooey, decadent with caramel and tons of pecan halves. We'll spend two weeks in LA and hope to return to try more of Belle Bakery's croissants, sandwiches, or brunch menu. read more

So many coffee shops and cafes and bakeries on Ventura Blvd. While driving home from a work meeting I spotted this cafe and stopped by to check it out. Great customer service from the moment I walked in. They have sandwiches, salads, Omelets, croissant, pastries, cupcakes, scones and variety of coffee drinks. I got an iced coffee which tastes ok and a scone that was too dry for my taste. The muffins looked good so next time I'll try that if I find myself here again. Second time at Belle Bakery Cafe on July 8, 2025 and this time to get lunch! Oh. So. Good! I got the rosemary chicken sandwich on a sourdough French roll, husband got a classic sandwich with ham on a French roll. We got croissants: I got an almond croissant that was encrusted in almonds and filled with almond paste or marzipan which added to the spectacular delicious-ness of the laminated dough croissant! I am really overjoyed to have found an ACTUAL croissant in Los Angeles! I'm attaching an article about croissant baking; these croissants achieve this standard. Husband got 2 regular croissants. Of course we got Cafe Lattes that are rich and flavorful. The aroma, the body, the flavor and fragrance are intoxicating. Smooth and velvety. The coffee scent and taste smoky and bold but not overpowering or burnt. Husband also added a Caesar salad (husband loves him his Caesar salads). All this food and beverages, the check was $73.30. Belle Bakery is the place I go when I am craving a sandwich. My favorite sandwich on their menu is the fried egg sandwich. So simple, yet so satisfying. You can pick your choice of bread, which is made fresh in house. I went with the French bread and WOW. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and super soft inside. Sandwiches include swiss cheese, mustard, mayo, lettuce and tomato. You have the option to add additional ingredients like avocado for an extra cost. Great portion and quick satisfying meal! I also LOVE their hazelnut coffee. Excellent flavor! I could drink it by the bucket. They also offer lattes, cappuccinos etc. Gal at the register was as nice as can be. My reason for 4 stars was that some of the surfaces in the dining area were messy. Coffee spilled all over the counter, sugar and wrappers all over the place. Counters could have definitely used a wipe down. We have a new contender in the Croissant Wars currently raging in the east Valley between Studio City's "Sweet Lily" (solid croissant in a very cute French cafe setting) and Toluca Lake's "Lou, The French on the Block" (tiny closet of a space that always has an epic line, though well-deserved) -- welcome Belle Bakery in Studio City! Located on Ventura between Laurel and Coldwater, this charming little outpost feels like an old-school family-owned bakery/deli. I'm going to focus strictly on the croissant because a) it's the best way to judge a bakery (if you can nail a croissant, the rest is easy) and b) it's all I've eaten there. And what a croissant to focus on! It's so divinely buttery that it's forever altered my perception of this delicate pastry. But let's judge this croissant-book by it's croissant-cover: the crispy exterior is the perfect crunch and flake you expect from the highest quality of croissants. Once you break through the crunchy outer shell, you are rewarded with an intoxicating buttery aroma and incredibly soft, butter-infused interior that's downright buttery. Err, heavenly. (Am I overusing 'butter'? Trick question! There's no such thing as overusing butter! Whether in a croissant, a cookie, or the bedroom...) Wow! My son and I like to seek out local eatery adventures, so we were eager to try Belle Bakery's pastries, and they did NOT disappoint! The service was friendly and helpful- we ordered a butter croissant (flaky and delicious), and on their recommendation, a cinnamon walnut twist. It was huge so we split it, and... whoa. This pastry is next-level. I am always partial to sweet stuff- but I like it juuuuust sweet enough without becoming too rich or cloying. Well, the texture and flavor of this baby was perfection-confection. We are officially fans, and will be returning soon! Excited to try their coffee next time. PS. I had a plain butter croissant and let me tell you, it's up there and can rival some of the best bakeries in LA with French ownership.
