I would highly recommend Nerds!! A friend recommended Matthew to fix my computer. I called him, and took it in that afternoon. He evaluated it and within 5 mins told me what the problem was. He ordered the part and once he received it I took my computer back so he could replace the part. I had my computer back the following day. I'm a Realtor so I can't be without my computer for very long. So I was super happy with his promptness. I also asked if he could transfer some files from a old computer to my current computer that didn't transfer correctly when I did it and he was able to do it for me. It would have taken me a lot longer to do it and was happy he did it for me (one less thing for me to think about). What a joy! I brought my Lenovo ThinkPad to John for help with slow processing speeds and a code error that prevented my password from being accepted. He responded very promptly to my request for help, made time to work with me and my computer over the weekend and returned it to me ready to go first thing Monday morning. My strong advice is to take your computer to NERDS before going through the cost and hassle of getting a new one. My 2011 MacBook Pro died after many good years and I thought I would have to replace it. Luckily I took it to the NERDS team first. For a small fraction of the cost of a new MacBook John was able to replace my keyboard and battery and upgrade my hard drive. With a new 1-terabyte solid-state drive replacing my old- tech 500-gigabyte drive my computer is faster than when I got it. I'll probably get five more years out of my MacBook now.
