Freeze of Raspberry sorbet and lemonade

Jalapeño Jack and the Nemo Burger were delicious. Fries were hot and came with fry sauce. Raspberry sorbet freeze with lemonade was very tasty. The young woman at the counter was polite and patient. Thank you!

the line was long. the wait for the food was long. and the food came out cold. The mushroom and the buns on my burger are cold. the meat is basically only room temperature. i dont know what can be recommended at this place. it took at least 20mins for the food to come out. they are just burgers. and my burger came out not hot , and my onion rings are all super burnt , the worst onion rings i had ever had.

Quinoa Burger with fries and a wild huckleberry milkshake

Finding Nemo's is in easy in rural and scenic Escalante! A burger stand with outdoor seating, Nemo's makes made to order classic American food. The standout on the menu was the onion rings which had light, flakey, and crisp breading. The milkshakes are thick and come in unique flavors such as wild huckleberry. Each item is made for the individual customer and as a sign humorously indicates--if you want fast food, the nearesf is 120 miles down the road. This is classic Americana amidst extraordinarily beautiful surroundings. A worthy place to replinish calories after a hike along Escalante's famed "staircase."

    Veggie Burger - just okay

We stopped here on the way from Capitol Reef National Park to Bryce Canyon National Park. After many windy roads and passing through small towns, including the frightening Highway 12 highway from the national forest nearby, we needed some dinner. We stopped for gas nearby and thought that this "drive thru" establishment would be a quick dinner, but it is clearly popular with locals and passerbys alike, since there were at least 5 groups of about 4-6 people each in front of us, alongside of a couple of drive through orders ok a Monday night. We ended up waiting close to an hour for our food. It was a pretty wild wait. I'm glad they exist and that the food was reasonable, just over $75 for 6 people, and that we could support local. But clearly they need to hire more workers, as we noticed just one cook in the back. Everyone enjoyed their food, which was clearly made to order - cheeseburger, grilled chicken sandwich, grilled chicken and mushroom sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, and the veggie burger. The buns were flavorful, as was the burger Pattie's and pulled pork. The veggie burger was a bit bland, but I heard the chicken sandwiches were pretty good. So overall, the food was good and I'm glad we stopped here, but I wouldn't stop here if I was in a rush (not even the drive through which has the same line and wait as those ordering from the window, since I watched one woman wait 35-40 min in her car at the window). Also, they don't have a bathroom but the gas station store has a nice restroom and some sundries to choose from.

Only thing I remember from this place is.... actually two things. 1. not so friendly counter lady. Well, it was Sunday and off season and probably the only place open around here other than the Subway and Escalante Outfitters. 2. for tip, cash or credit card.. yes. This place is expecting a tip for just doing cashier's job. She takes your order, tells the cook and calls your name over the PA system when the food is ready. very interesting thoughts. Got the burger and fish and chips. Burger was ok, fries were very hot and crispy and definitely big thumbs up. Fish and upgraded sweet potatoes were good. Sorry for having such high expectation from a small dive restaurants middle of no where.

    Chocolate shake
    Elise C.

I don't know if they literally go churn the ice cream while you wait, but this milkshake tastes fresh beyond fresh. We got a regular old chocolate shake. It's clearly just been mixed, and the lightness of the chocolate flavor is actually perfect--and that's from someone who loves super-rich chocolate flavors. It's also nice and thick. I mean, the spoon was still standing on its own when the milkshake was half gone.

Out of the nine of us who stopped for shakes and ice cream, 100% left happy. Service was polite and friendly. When you're coated in desert dust and ready for refreshment, this is a great spot. I particularly loved the outdoor picnic tables which were clean and wonderfully shady on a hoppin Saturday. Check if they're open if it's late or early season.

The food was delicious! The American Burger was as big as the Grand Canyon. The sweet potato fries fantastic and the shake was incredible.

If treated as take-out, provide the plastic cutlery. But really, give us our food on a tray and save the paper waste. Baked potato was too done. Skin very tough and toasty. No butter with potato Main complaint -- the plastic knife and fork were so flimsy as to be not useful. No, I didn't say anything to the staff at the time; they don't buy that cheap crap as a supply. Yelped my issue instead. Bottom line, don't order the baked potato.

Imagine walking into Wendy's with a simple craving, only to first be unsettled by the odd person at…read morethe counter before your order. From the moment we arrived, something was off--the person taking orders had an unnerving vibe, completely unlike the typical fast food employee. And then, to our disbelief, we learned he wasn't just any order taker... he was the manager. Right from the start, his behavior was a live performance of absurd incompetence and insecurity. After repeatedly bungling our order, he had the gall to instruct us to cancel the transaction on the payment pad. The farce didn't stop there. What's even more outrageous is that when we asked him to correct the error--he had mistakenly keyed in the wrong kind of sandwich--he not only refused to fix it but also refused to say his own name. Instead, he goaded us to call Corporate Wendy's. (We later discovered from another review that this same individual had treated a customer's grandmother with aggressive, demeaning behavior.) It's a tragedy mixed with humor--a rogue manager using his franchise as a shield to dodge responsibility, while the local business owner watches helplessly as quality and decency cool off like room-temperature burgers. As for the food, the sandwiches were so poorly assembled that one members of our party claimed the menu must be a false advertisement. Every bite of the meal was a reminder of the chaotic incompetence that defined this visit. In short, this Wendy's is a theater of mismanagement and mishaps where you're not a customer--you're an unwilling participant in a calamity. If you value decent service and a properly made sandwich (or simply want to avoid a public display of absurdity), steer well clear of this establishment. There are several far more pleasant options just a minute away.
