Really good little caf, this one. Cheap, cheerful doing exactly the kind of food and service that it looks like it will. And rightfully so!
They got a quality range of food - cooked and cold, teas and coffees (Nelson's even got themselves a cappuccino maker!) It was fraternised by workmen working on a local hospital. I always think this is a good sign.
Sit down, and there's the comforting tinkle of teaspoons on saucers. The hiss of steam and frying eggs and bacon. You don't come here for the deco (or do you?!!??). The walls are decorated in charity chop framed artworks of European landscapes. But come here for the charming atmosphere, tucked just away from the nearby Commercial Road. read more
