This NM store inside GSP mall spans over 3 floors. The whole place feels to upscale and high end. They got plenty of nice chair and couches for guests to sit around the store. The brands, collections and products match the vibes as well. They have so many of the luxurious brands in apparels, shoes, accessories, perfumes, sunglasses and even home good products. Prices are of course higher because of the high-end goods. We went to the store just to wander around. We came across a sale rack that had some excellent branded apparels on sale for up to 70% discount. We picked a few and tried them in the fitting room. The fitting area was super nice, well lit and the rooms were spacious. The staff member helped us with the fitting room and also at the checkout. Popped by on the way to return some other items at another store and took a quick look around the men's section. Clean and well organized but no one stop by to say or ask what I was up to. There was a police officer near the door that scanned the area but no one in customer service walking around to ask if I needed anything. Walking through the front, taking a quick look at the watches, still no one asked whether or not I needed help, there was just a few folks standing around talking to each other. They do have valet parking outside, the little parking lot there is primarily for the valet parking only. You can only drop off in a circle. Go across the street to park in the bigger lot. read more

I ordered a pair of jeans and what I received looked not much like what was advertised. Raw hem in what I received vs nicely hemmed, etc. I ordered a light wash, I received a dark wash. The return process has changed and this is the real problem. Instead of printing a return label and dropping the package at the Post Office or UPS, I had to get a QR code, repackage the pants, and take them to Walgreens. Walgreens was clueless. Besides not knowing what to do, the manager was angry and rude. Bottom line--I will not shop at any store that uses this method for returns. It was a nightmare. I'd rather pay a return fee than be put through 20 minutes of an angry, poorly trained employee dealing with a FedEx package. Adding to the nightmare--Neiman Marcus acknowledges that the package is with FedEx and in route to them, but won't process my refund until they have the jeans in their facility and inspect them. They are the only retailer that does not process a refund once it receives confirmation that the return is on its way. read more

Net net -- It was stolen. This had to get on my own, NM just told me to file a claim and wait 3-5 business days to o an investigation and order it again if I wanted the items. I shop at Neiman Marcus for a first -class shopping experience. Not the case when it came to picking up an on-line store order for a piece of Konstantino Jewelry in the men's department at Garden State Plaza, NJ. The bracelet was placed in a bag with a pouch- no gift box, tissue, etc. In fact, it's sad that a Konstantino box doesn't come with the product. Went back to the store to be told I needed to go to gift wrap for a box/tissue. After insisting, a kind associate, James Robinson, checked all the draws in the men's department looking for a box and couldn't find even one. Finally James had to go to the Fine Jewelry counter to accommodate. With one week before Christmas, I expect this experience at Macy's or JC Penney- NOT Neiman Marcus. Disappointing! read more

Let me start off with the positive: Walked away from the Chanel store and was just browsing along on the floor. Bumped into a sweet SA named Jinnie. She was so helpful and attentive, giving me recommendations and being honest that some bags just didn't look good on me. I ended up buying from her over the Chanel bag I wanted. I would definitely contact her in the future if I need something. She made my day. :) ----------- Now here's the negative: I am used to the pretentious SAs at all Chanel stores. It don't faze me anymore. I usually like to frequent Chanel inside department stores. Usually they have better service than the lone standing ones. This particular Chanel boutique exhausted me. This old hag of a woman at the Parfums de Marly section commented that I was there browsing the colognes a few days ago (about a month, the last time I had been at the mall in general) and said that I thought that the smell of the colognes changes every time I smell them. I was just already at the mall and decided to go in for a little bit because I enjoy fragrances and the woman thought that I was milking the free testers because I liked specific ones very much. I asked her if they'd be restocking and she said no. I went to a Chanel store while I was in Hawaii yesterday to find out that the Mini Shopping Bag would be restocked nationwide on the 25th. I inquired with Christina again and she said that the request list is now closed. So not only did I get false information from Stefani, I also missed out on my chance to sign up for the request list. I expressed my sorrow to Christina over this and she left me on read, not offering any apologies or accountability for the false information provided by her own assistant. It is just really unfortunate because I'm been waiting to purchase my first Chanel piece through Christina. I've followed her on Instagram for a very long time and always enjoyed her style. This has only been the 3rd Neiman Marcus location I have ever been to since there isn't many where I live. My usual one is the Short Hills NJ location but not anymore after seeing this one. This Neiman Marcus was absolutely beautiful. It was larger then the Shorthills location, more up to date looking, easier to shop, more of a selection in each department within the store and just overall beautifully merchandised. They offer valet parking at this location also which is $10.00. They also have this at Shorthills but this location allows you to text message the valet and let them know when you want your car ready to leave and it's all set to go as soon as you walk out the door. I loved the convenience of that! Hands down if you had to choose between going to the Neimans in Short Hills or the Neimans in Garden State Plaza Mall choose the one in GSP Mall!!!!!! read more

I'm writing this review on their restaurant, The Rotunda, not on the store itself. This has been a great brunch/lunch place for our work meetings. The atmosphere is light and professional, which makes for a great impression. The staff is always courteous and attentive, and if you park in the garage rather than valet downstairs, it's less hassle--and free. This also tends to be where mom's gather for lunch so don't be surprised if you're the only gentleman in the dining area. Some of the dishes I highly recommend are: * Salmon Tacos * Chicken Milanese * Mandarin Orange Soufflé- tip: I order with tuna rather than chicken as the chicken tends to be dry. Also, they used to serve this with a slice of banana bread and cream cheese, now it's an over dry blueberry muffin. (Please bring back the banana bread!!) The cappuccinos and drinks are always on point, but nothing too spectacular. I've been able to bring my whole family in to dine before, so it can be kid friendly- depending on your kid. Moms bring their babies in all the time and it doesn't seem to kill the vibe, so know your kid and you'll be fine. My boys love the complimentary broth and popovers before the meal and so do we. It's a chance to teach the boys etiquette as it is quite formal even as a brunch spot. I think that's the biggest reason why I shop here, I enjoy being left alone. But those in the top 10% generally want to be fawned over and have people do their bidding. You'll find those associates here for sure. A few years ago, they were strictly an AMEX and cash establishment, since then they've loosened the reigns and are now accepting VISA/MC forms of payment as well. Found the perfect gown at Neiman Marcus for my daughtef's wedding thks coming 1st week of November. The gown needs alteration amd the saleslady recommended their Alteration Manager to do the work. She said she is very good and called her. The Alteration Manager said its easy work and that she can do it. After a week she called me to come for measurement. It's an hour away without traffic from where I lived, so I drove on the day she told me. When I got there, she said she cannot accomodate me and to come back the next day. So we're already talking of 4 hours drive round trip for 2 consecutive days. After 2 weeks, they called me to do the fitting. I got in the store with my daughter and they brought me the gown. When I tried it, they cut the hem way to short that even I wear flat shoes, it's still short. In addition, beads ard missing, waistline crooked. In short, the gown is beyond repair. NEIMAN MARCUS FUR SERVICES- We took my wife's furs to them at their Paramus store for cleaning and storage. When the cold weather came we called about getting them back. We made arrangements with them to pick them up at a specific date and time at their Paramus store. They were to call us and confirm the details on picking them up. Their Ms. Adamson told us who to work with in Paramus and her phone number and promised they would call us a day or two prior to the pick up date to lock things in. We called the store contact and found the phone number we were given did not work properly. We called the store to find out what was going on and their operator switched us to the Scottsdale, Arizona Store. We finally got to an associate of Adamson, since we could not get her on the phone, and set up the pick up. We found out subsequently that the furs had been sitting around the store for nearly a month before the pick up date. This crew cannot figure out who is on first base.
