This NM store inside GSP mall spans over 3 floors. The whole place feels to upscale and high end. They got plenty of nice chair and couches for guests to sit around the store. The brands, collections and products match the vibes as well. They have so many of the luxurious brands in apparels, shoes, accessories, perfumes, sunglasses and even home good products. Prices are of course higher because of the high-end goods. We went to the store just to wander around. We came across a sale rack that had some excellent branded apparels on sale for up to 70% discount. We picked a few and tried them in the fitting room. The fitting area was super nice, well lit and the rooms were spacious. The staff member helped us with the fitting room and also at the checkout. We returned here few weeks later to return an online order. The service was equally friendly and fast. read more

High end brands combined in this mall. They have fashion clothing, jewelry, watches, shoes etc. The staff are nice and helpful. I was picking out some dresses and a staff member came, took my dresses and held a fitting room for me. Very spacious in the fitting room with nice light and multiple mirrors. Price is of course on the higher end. Check out the racks on sale. You might find something good there. read more

Popped by on the way to return some other items at another store and took a quick look around the men's section. Clean and well organized but no one stop by to say or ask what I was up to. There was a police officer near the door that scanned the area but no one in customer service walking around to ask if I needed anything. Walking through the front, taking a quick look at the watches, still no one asked whether or not I needed help, there was just a few folks standing around talking to each other. They do have valet parking outside, the little parking lot there is primarily for the valet parking only. You can only drop off in a circle. Go across the street to park in the bigger lot. read more

Neiman Marcus Is scammers and Thief! Do not buy anything in Neiman Marcus! Very very bad company , scammers! Thief! Don't trust their gift cards! I ordered a pair of jeans and what I received looked not much like what was advertised. Raw hem in what I received vs nicely hemmed, etc. I ordered a light wash, I received a dark wash. The return process has changed and this is the real problem. Instead of printing a return label and dropping the package at the Post Office or UPS, I had to get a QR code, repackage the pants, and take them to Walgreens. Walgreens was clueless. Besides not knowing what to do, the manager was angry and rude. Bottom line--I will not shop at any store that uses this method for returns. It was a nightmare. I'd rather pay a return fee than be put through 20 minutes of an angry, poorly trained employee dealing with a FedEx package. Adding to the nightmare--Neiman Marcus acknowledges that the package is with FedEx and in route to them, but won't process my refund until they have the jeans in their facility and inspect them. They are the only retailer that does not process a refund once it receives confirmation that the return is on its way. read more

DON'T BUY SUNGLASSES FROM NM! They sold me a defective pair of Dior glasses (~$600!!) that not a single optician / eyewear boutique was able to fix because of a deformity with the glasses. They refused to honor an exchange or even store credit because it was outside the 30 day window. This chain has gone so downhill and, in my experience, quality checks have slipped... Be extra vigilant shopping there, it's not what it used to be in my opinion read more

If I could give -0 I would. I have never dealt with such rude customer service associates. They don't care at all about your overall experience. I ordered something for a gift, which they had delivered through a third party. Need it Now--what a joke . "Someone" signed for this package, and they left it in the common area. Net net -- It was stolen. This had to get on my own, NM just told me to file a claim and wait 3-5 business days to o an investigation and order it again if I wanted the items. UNACCEPTABLE, even the supervisor just kept repeating over and over the "policy", and that there was nothing they could do. I know there is always something you can do. Very disheartened and disappointed in NM. What a horrible experience. read more

Of course this is a high end luxury store and me as a person will never actually shop here cause the prices scare me a bit, I just like to enter and see all the nice pretty things, anyways, they have a decent selection of clothes and it's super organized, spacious and very clean, everything is where it should be.. read more

I shop at Neiman Marcus for a first -class shopping experience. Not the case when it came to picking up an on-line store order for a piece of Konstantino Jewelry in the men's department at Garden State Plaza, NJ. The bracelet was placed in a bag with a pouch- no gift box, tissue, etc. In fact, it's sad that a Konstantino box doesn't come with the product. Went back to the store to be told I needed to go to gift wrap for a box/tissue. After insisting, a kind associate, James Robinson, checked all the draws in the men's department looking for a box and couldn't find even one. Finally James had to go to the Fine Jewelry counter to accommodate. With one week before Christmas, I expect this experience at Macy's or JC Penney- NOT Neiman Marcus. Disappointing! read more

Let me start off with the positive: Walked away from the Chanel store and was just browsing along on the floor. Bumped into a sweet SA named Jinnie. She was so helpful and attentive, giving me recommendations and being honest that some bags just didn't look good on me. I ended up buying from her over the Chanel bag I wanted. I would definitely contact her in the future if I need something. She made my day. :) ----------- Now here's the negative: I am used to the pretentious SAs at all Chanel stores. It don't faze me anymore. I usually like to frequent Chanel inside department stores. Usually they have better service than the lone standing ones. This particular Chanel boutique exhausted me. Had to scream hi!!!!! to the SA while she was looking at her phone. Uninterested SA, eh... not a deal breaker. But come on, I would understand if she's texting a client but I saw her on Instagram. LOL. Didn't end up getting the bag I wanted. I am big on the "no matter how big or small the commission, I don't want to give my money to someone who don't give a shit about their money (their customers)." Sorry to sound like a karen here but come on, the customers are also helping you pay your bills! My dumb self had to come around the 2nd time in the store hoping I would get a slightly better associate since they take shifts/breaks. Now tell me why this time a new SA asked me if I was here before and if her colleague SA, XXXXX was helping me. Mind you, I remembered the previous SA's name from her business card. SA XXXXX was not helping me before. This SA confused me for another Asian that was in the store. LOL. I mean granted we all had our masks on but COME ON, WE ALL DON'T LOOK ALIKE. Now, SA XXXXX comes out from the back to assist me. Now I wanted to look at the wallets. She literally threw out 2 small wallets onto the glass table. I politely asked her if that's all colors she had. Now tell me why XXXXX didn't bother to look up from her phone and grunted at me, "That's all we have. That's it! That's it!" She ended up turning around to talk to another customer? I just walked away at that point and just laughed. No respect for the customers at all. While I was walking away, I heard her slamming the drawers back from putting back the wallets. I am sure not so many people would take it as lightly as I did but I find it hilarious that their heads are so far stuck their asses that I have to say this: Dear fellow Chanel SAs, You're not Coco Chanel. You do not own Chanel. You're not an heir to Chanel. You're a SA for Chanel. Please pipe your little pretentious behinds down and take several seats. Please see attached picture. Whether or not your customers make less or more than what you do working at Chanel, your customers work hard for their money just like you do. You make a humble salary + commission according to Glassdoor, give or take. You're replaceable. You're not better than your customers because you work at Chanel. Remember that next time you think you're too good for your customers. Your shit still stinks just like your "lowly" customers do. LOL read more

Neiman Marcus is my favorite place to shop they have the best costumer service. I highly recommend this store

This is yelp but this is the only spot i would leave the most review and i have been lacking on criticism? I try not to leave good or bad reviews lately because these days too mich talk about everything. The 4 stars is just 8'm satisfied because it's close to home and usual spot. If i am picky would be 3 or less but i still go there. Neiman is known for expensive stylish stuff, and i've been to different locations far from home but garden state plaza has the most displayed. More shoes and clothing on display that i can try on. These days everything is online but u need to try on and see the actual product if u know what i mean. Only 1 star im lacking is not racism but how they treat u. If u go in flipflops they will not help or look at u. read more

Beautiful store Incredibly clean and organized Excellent customer service And the latest in haute couture labels and designs. EXCEPT one Problem!! You can Valet your car and you text them 5 minutes before you want your car picked up and they have it ready for you. Well I did! and when I came to get it 5 hours later I got in and noticed I had less gas then when I dropped it off. And when I turned my car on the Air Conditioner and music started blasting and blowing cold air. The valet sat in my car with my air on. I will never Valet Again!! Very Upset over this read more

This old hag of a woman at the Parfums de Marly section commented that I was there browsing the colognes a few days ago (about a month, the last time I had been at the mall in general) and said that I thought that the smell of the colognes changes every time I smell them. I was just already at the mall and decided to go in for a little bit because I enjoy fragrances and the woman thought that I was milking the free testers because I liked specific ones very much. Horrible service and I can't believe suck people help represent these luxury brands. I'll come back in ten years and they'll say that I can't try it again. Only good thing about her was that she somehow remembered me out of so many customers. Will come back when my 1-year cooldown expires. read more

This has only been the 3rd Neiman Marcus location I have ever been to since there isn't many where I live. My usual one is the Short Hills NJ location but not anymore after seeing this one. This Neiman Marcus was absolutely beautiful. It was larger then the Shorthills location, more up to date looking, easier to shop, more of a selection in each department within the store and just overall beautifully merchandised. They offer valet parking at this location also which is $10.00. They also have this at Shorthills but this location allows you to text message the valet and let them know when you want your car ready to leave and it's all set to go as soon as you walk out the door. I loved the convenience of that! Hands down if you had to choose between going to the Neimans in Short Hills or the Neimans in Garden State Plaza Mall choose the one in GSP Mall!!!!!! read more

This review is for Christina Adamo and her assistant Stefani. I had inquired about the Chanel Mini Shopping Bag on December 13th to which Stefani had said it was sold out. I asked her if they'd be restocking and she said no. I went to a Chanel store while I was in Hawaii yesterday to find out that the Mini Shopping Bag would be restocked nationwide on the 25th. I inquired with Christina again and she said that the request list is now closed. So not only did I get false information from Stefani, I also missed out on my chance to sign up for the request list. I expressed my sorrow to Christina over this and she left me on read, not offering any apologies or accountability for the false information provided by her own assistant. It is just really unfortunate because I'm been waiting to purchase my first Chanel piece through Christina. I've followed her on Instagram for a very long time and always enjoyed her style. Her customer service must be incredibly lacking because I haven't had the chance to buy from her yet. And not that it matters to Neiman Marcus and her at the end of the day, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I'm over pretentious SAs who are lazy about clientele-ing and don't care about building relationships with customers because they have an influx of sales from their other buyers. read more

I have to let you know the Neiman Marcus in Paramus mall has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The woman that helped us with shoes (older woman, red hair) and belts huffed and puffed at every request and was bothered by everything we asked. She seemed annoyed. Aside from having to track someone down to help us, EVERYONE around was on their phone. See the attached photo. This is not acceptable in my eyes and I will be posting this photo everywhere to show your customer service and how unprofessional those that work at your stores are. read more

I'm writing this review on their restaurant, The Rotunda, not on the store itself. This has been a great brunch/lunch place for our work meetings. The atmosphere is light and professional, which makes for a great impression. The staff is always courteous and attentive, and if you park in the garage rather than valet downstairs, it's less hassle--and free. This also tends to be where mom's gather for lunch so don't be surprised if you're the only gentleman in the dining area. Some of the dishes I highly recommend are: * Salmon Tacos * Chicken Milanese * Mandarin Orange Soufflé- tip: I order with tuna rather than chicken as the chicken tends to be dry. Also, they used to serve this with a slice of banana bread and cream cheese, now it's an over dry blueberry muffin. (Please bring back the banana bread!!) The cappuccinos and drinks are always on point, but nothing too spectacular. I've been able to bring my whole family in to dine before, so it can be kid friendly- depending on your kid. Moms bring their babies in all the time and it doesn't seem to kill the vibe, so know your kid and you'll be fine. My boys love the complimentary broth and popovers before the meal and so do we. It's a chance to teach the boys etiquette as it is quite formal even as a brunch spot. (Certain days they have models that promenade around the dining hall wearing a designer-of-the-day for you to consider. It's amusing however I never buy.) The seasoning, portions, and quality have changed over the years which is why I rated low. read more

NM CAFE should be ashamed of themselves for the poor customer service they exuded today. As a person who travels nationally and visits NM cafes this was a huge disappointment. I can't even tell you, however the person who sets up the tables was the biggest shinning star. She helped me and wasn't a server. The server was more interested in her personal conversations then with coming over. Welcoming me in, taking my order etc. Her conversation lasted about 10 mins in which the bus girl already helped me and put in my order. She was straight up rude. Her name was Linda. If you don't look like your net worth is upwards of $10 mil, then you'll most likely be left to your own devices in this store. I think that's the biggest reason why I shop here, I enjoy being left alone. But those in the top 10% generally want to be fawned over and have people do their bidding. You'll find those associates here for sure. A few years ago, they were strictly an AMEX and cash establishment, since then they've loosened the reigns and are now accepting VISA/MC forms of payment as well. Obviously, this opens the door for the mobile middle class to shop here without feeling uncomfortable. Do not be afraid to ask associates where to find the sale or clearance sections. Generally, the deals found there are not that spectacular. My experience with associates here have been pleasant to indifferent. If you're upfront with them, then they'll be helpful. AVOID THE CHANEL STORE HERE. I hate giving one star, because there is an EXCELLENT male women designer shoes sales associate named Scott who works here and is always so wonderful, but I'm afraid my experience at the notorious Chanel boutique here left too horrible a taste for me to rate this department store location any higher. I'd been warned by a friend not to visit this location, but it was convenient for where I was that day, and I went ahead. I do not understand for the life of me WHY the sales assistants in Chanel do not even so much as SMILE and force out a polite hello when someone comes in. I've worked in retail, and trust me, the most BASIC "skill" taught to even the lowest-level retail employees- fast food OR "high-end designer"- is how to SMILE AND SAY HI. How hard can it be?! Well, apparently, for these women, a little too difficult to muster, and my fellow shopper and I felt so awkward that we felt compelled to do the greeting FOR THEM. There was a younger associate in the boutique (not sure if she always works in Chanel), but she was much more helpful and polite. Again, by polite, I mean the most basic level of courteous, even by McDonald's standards. Yes, standards are very low at the Chanel boutique at Garden State's Neiman Marcus. After visiting several Chanel boutiques overseas in Hong Kong, this is somewhat of an embarrassment and insult to not only NM, but high-end American retail. The higher the price one pays on luxury goods, I would assume the service received in return would mirror the costs. Here, it seems to be the opposite; the older women working here behave as though you are some form of lowly consumer and they are deigning to perform a huge favor by looking at your face. Never, ever again. Visit this location for the shoes- ask for Scott- but avoid the Chanel store here at all costs. Saks Fifth Ave in NYC has much better customer service and a much wider variety of handbags and accessories. read more

Found the perfect gown at Neiman Marcus for my daughtef's wedding thks coming 1st week of November. The gown needs alteration amd the saleslady recommended their Alteration Manager to do the work. She said she is very good and called her. The Alteration Manager said its easy work and that she can do it. After a week she called me to come for measurement. It's an hour away without traffic from where I lived, so I drove on the day she told me. When I got there, she said she cannot accomodate me and to come back the next day. So we're already talking of 4 hours drive round trip for 2 consecutive days. After 2 weeks, they called me to do the fitting. I got in the store with my daughter and they brought me the gown. Their Ms. Adamson told us who to work with in Paramus and her phone number and promised they would call us a day or two prior to the pick up date to lock things in. We called the store contact and found the phone number we were given did not work properly. We called the store to find out what was going on and their operator switched us to the Scottsdale, Arizona Store. We finally got to an associate of Adamson, since we could not get her on the phone, and set up the pick up.
