    Popped by on the way to return some other items at another store and took a quick look around the men's section. Clean and well organized but no one stop by to say or ask what I was up to. There was a police officer near the door that scanned the area but no one in customer service walking around to ask if I needed anything. Walking through the front, taking a quick look at the watches, still no one asked whether or not I needed help, there was just a few folks standing around talking to each other. They do have valet parking outside, the little parking lot there is primarily for the valet parking only. You can only drop off in a circle. Go across the street to park in the bigger lot.

    Absolute idiot Manager running the show in Neiman Marcus 503 Garden State Plaza Paramus New Jersey.. I purchased a shirt two weeks ago came in with a full receipt. Nothing whatsoever wrong with the shirt the manager refused to take the shirt back because he said it needed the tags and was arguing with me and kept me there 10 minutes. Complete morons. Manager was very argumentative. Had an absolutely miserable customer service experience ruining my day ..His name was Blair Blowdorn ..

    Let me start off with the positive: Walked away from the Chanel store and was just browsing along on the floor. Bumped into a sweet SA named Jinnie. She was so helpful and attentive, giving me recommendations and being honest that some bags just didn't look good on me. I ended up buying from her over the Chanel bag I wanted. I would definitely contact her in the future if I need something. She made my day. :) ----------- Now here's the negative: I am used to the pretentious SAs at all Chanel stores. It don't faze me anymore. I usually like to frequent Chanel inside department stores. Usually they have better service than the lone standing ones. This particular Chanel boutique exhausted me. Had to scream hi!!!!! to the SA while she was looking at her phone. Uninterested SA, eh... not a deal breaker. But come on, I would understand if she's texting a client but I saw her on Instagram. LOL. Didn't end up getting the bag I wanted. I am big on the "no matter how big or small the commission, I don't want to give my money to someone who don't give a shit about their money (their customers)." Sorry to sound like a karen here but come on, the customers are also helping you pay your bills! My dumb self had to come around the 2nd time in the store hoping I would get a slightly better associate since they take shifts/breaks. Now tell me why this time a new SA asked me if I was here before and if her colleague SA, XXXXX was helping me. Mind you, I remembered the previous SA's name from her business card. SA XXXXX was not helping me before. This SA confused me for another Asian that was in the store. LOL. I mean granted we all had our masks on but COME ON, WE ALL DON'T LOOK ALIKE. Now, SA XXXXX comes out from the back to assist me. Now I wanted to look at the wallets. She literally threw out 2 small wallets onto the glass table. I politely asked her if that's all colors she had. Now tell me why XXXXX didn't bother to look up from her phone and grunted at me, "That's all we have. That's it! That's it!" She ended up turning around to talk to another customer? I just walked away at that point and just laughed. No respect for the customers at all. While I was walking away, I heard her slamming the drawers back from putting back the wallets. I am sure not so many people would take it as lightly as I did but I find it hilarious that their heads are so far stuck their asses that I have to say this: Dear fellow Chanel SAs, You're not Coco Chanel. You do not own Chanel. You're not an heir to Chanel. You're a SA for Chanel. Please pipe your little pretentious behinds down and take several seats. Please see attached picture. Whether or not your customers make less or more than what you do working at Chanel, your customers work hard for their money just like you do. You make a humble salary + commission according to Glassdoor, give or take. You're replaceable. You're not better than your customers because you work at Chanel. Remember that next time you think you're too good for your customers. Your shit still stinks just like your "lowly" customers do. LOL

    This is yelp but this is the only spot i would leave the most review and i have been lacking on criticism? I try not to leave good or bad reviews lately because these days too mich talk about everything. The 4 stars is just 8'm satisfied because it's close to home and usual spot. If i am picky would be 3 or less but i still go there. Neiman is known for expensive stylish stuff, and i've been to different locations far from home but garden state plaza has the most displayed. More shoes and clothing on display that i can try on. These days everything is online but u need to try on and see the actual product if u know what i mean. Only 1 star im lacking is not racism but how they treat u. If u go in flipflops they will not help or look at u.

    Beautiful store Incredibly clean and organized Excellent customer service And the latest in haute couture labels and designs. EXCEPT one Problem!! You can Valet your car and you text them 5 minutes before you want your car picked up and they have it ready for you. Well I did! and when I came to get it 5 hours later I got in and noticed I had less gas then when I dropped it off. And when I turned my car on the Air Conditioner and music started blasting and blowing cold air. The valet sat in my car with my air on. I will never Valet Again!! Very Upset over this

    This review is for Christina Adamo and her assistant Stefani. I had inquired about the Chanel Mini Shopping Bag on December 13th to which Stefani had said it was sold out. I asked her if they'd be restocking and she said no. I went to a Chanel store while I was in Hawaii yesterday to find out that the Mini Shopping Bag would be restocked nationwide on the 25th. I inquired with Christina again and she said that the request list is now closed. So not only did I get false information from Stefani, I also missed out on my chance to sign up for the request list. I expressed my sorrow to Christina over this and she left me on read, not offering any apologies or accountability for the false information provided by her own assistant. It is just really unfortunate because I'm been waiting to purchase my first Chanel piece through Christina. I've followed her on Instagram for a very long time and always enjoyed her style. Her customer service must be incredibly lacking because I haven't had the chance to buy from her yet. And not that it matters to Neiman Marcus and her at the end of the day, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I'm over pretentious SAs who are lazy about clientele-ing and don't care about building relationships with customers because they have an influx of sales from their other buyers.

    This has only been the 3rd Neiman Marcus location I have ever been to since there isn't many where I live. My usual one is the Short Hills NJ location but not anymore after seeing this one. This Neiman Marcus was absolutely beautiful. It was larger then the Shorthills location, more up to date looking, easier to shop, more of a selection in each department within the store and just overall beautifully merchandised. They offer valet parking at this location also which is $10.00. They also have this at Shorthills but this location allows you to text message the valet and let them know when you want your car ready to leave and it's all set to go as soon as you walk out the door. I loved the convenience of that! Hands down if you had to choose between going to the Neimans in Short Hills or the Neimans in Garden State Plaza Mall choose the one in GSP Mall!!!!!!

    Manager gossiping instead of helping clients

    Older manager lady was really rude and unprofessional . Spending money here is a complete smack in the face . Manager would rather be gossiping then helping clients who actually usually enjoy shopping

    I have to let you know the Neiman Marcus in Paramus mall has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The woman that helped us with shoes (older woman, red hair) and belts huffed and puffed at every request and was bothered by everything we asked. She seemed annoyed. Aside from having to track someone down to help us, EVERYONE around was on their phone. See the attached photo. This is not acceptable in my eyes and I will be posting this photo everywhere to show your customer service and how unprofessional those that work at your stores are.

    Neiman Marcus in DC and VA are better. This store doesn't seem to carry as much fun clothes for men.

    This store is located on first floor of GSP near Planet Playskool. They have a lot of unique style…read moreapparel and shoes for all season. Different size options available for most clothes. Prices vary based on product, but mostly they are in medium range. There's also a big sales collection as well. The aisles between racks are slim, very hard to walk by another person. Clothes also get entangled, we had a hard time taking out most of the items. There are several associates in the store who assist customers, do checkouts and also restock/tidy up the racks.

She was truly phenomenal always going above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable every time I shopped. Jennifer had a natural ability to connect with her clients, and it showed. She built genuine rapport, remembered people, and created an environment that made you actually want to come back. Because of her, I found myself shopping in the store at least three times a week. Jennifer, along with Jacky, made every visit enjoyable. Their energy, attentiveness, and care set them apart in a way that's hard to find. They didn't just work there they elevated the entire shopping experience. Which is why it's so frustrating and disappointing that neither of them seem to be there anymore. The turnover at this location feels constant every time I walk in, there are new faces, and the atmosphere has completely changed. It no longer feels welcoming, and honestly, it makes me not want to shop at the Paramus location at all. For customers like me who spend a significant amount of money and time in this store, the experience matters just as much as the products. Employees like Jennifer and Jacky are rare, and it's hard to understand why a company wouldn't do everything possible to retain people who clearly care about their work and their customers. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously. Bringing back employees like Jennifer and Jacky or at the very least, prioritizing staff who bring that same level of warmth and professionalism would make a huge difference.
