Stopped by Neil Pizzeria after hearing some good things, and overall, it was a nice experience. We tried the Classic Buffalo Chicken pizza, the Arugula Special, and an order of French fries. The Buffalo Chicken pizza didn't quite hit the mark for us the flavor just didn't work the way we expected. But the Arugula Special was fresh, tasty, and definitely the highlight among the pizzas. And surprisingly, the French fries were amazing crispy, well-seasoned, and a total winner. Service was quick and the place was clean. Would go back, but probably to try different pizzas next time.

The best pizza spot for specialty slices. The pesto and vodka slices are the best I've ever had from any pizzeria. Their regular vodka slices are so thin and crisp! Tried their buffalo slice last time I was there and it was excellent as well.

A hidden gem, if you were in the Wayne area this is definitely a must try. Everything is amazing from their customs places to their homemade salad, Caesars my fave. You can stop by for a quick lunch or a nice dinner!

Have been a customer for over 10 years. Have ordered this sandwich hundreds of times. So NO! That is not a 10.75 sandwich and they made it twice! The excuse I got was they were busy. 4.00 a gallon for gas and two trips to them thanks but no thanks! This customer is moving on!!!

I've tried this pizza twice in the last month but wanted to check out the restaurant being it was local and sit down with a slice before I wrote this. My first experience was my sister ordered from Neil's for a small family get together and I'm normally not blown away by many pizzas at this point because I know what I like as an Italian in NJ being here my whole life and eating pizza my whole life! But the sicilian was exceptionally good, I especially enjoyed the sausage on the pie which I'm pretty picky about. Cooked well, tasted great and not too fat like some sicilian slices/pies can be. After that I kept saying I gotta try them again so we stopped here for lunch the other day and it was slightly busy but plenty of seats still and no real wait around 12 on a weekday. Ordered 2 sicilian slices, a plain and a pepperoni and sausage slice, was still very good but a little under heated IMO but not ice cold or anything. Service was friendly, restaurant was clean. 3.5 stars, Def worth stopping for lunch or ordering a pie for a Sunday football game or dinner! Would eat again 3.5 stars on the pizza/yelp scale!

Just had Neil's late night. We both had Focaccia, not that good. It came out of the oven cold & wasn't as good as it used to be.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

We reserved the party room for about twenty family members and friends, and the staff made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. The head server was absolutely on top of everything, and the rest of the team followed with the same outstanding level of customer service. Every detail was handled professionally, warmly, and with genuine care. Once the food started coming out, we knew we had made the perfect choice. Everything was delicious, fresh, and there was more than enough for everyone. From the pizza to the rest of the menu, every dish was a hit with our group. Owner Steve personally checked in throughout the party to make sure everything was going smoothly and that everyone was happy, which really showed how much pride they take in their restaurant and customers. This was truly a wonderful experience and a perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anything from a family party to simply stopping in for a great slice of pizza. Huge thanks to Steve, the owners, and the entire crew for helping make my granddaughter's second birthday so memorable. We will definitely be back!

The salad was a small portion, but hey, you cant mess up iceberg lettuce on a plate. The prices were insane - and although im fine paying for quality and quantity, this was not worth it. The check also came without being itemized so I have no item what I paid for. The waiter, who was very polite and attentive, merely handed us a bill with a bottom line. Maybe they should stick to pizza- which i have not tried, but the food is did try was worse than the food they serve in jail

Would have appreciated more seasoning and vodka sauce. Barely any sauce. The Churros were good. I would have preferred the chocolate sauce on the side to dip. So for the last few months I've been conducting my own personal search for the best buffalo chicken…read morepizza in Wayne and I think I found it ::insert fanfare!:: Ok so what's so good about it?? Unlike other spots in town Pizza One uses buffalo sauce as the base on the pizza, which is the only way go! Topped with mozz and buffalo chicken it's simple and so so good! Other places in town use a red sauce as their base which does not make sense to me. Another spot in town uses buff sauce but drowns their dough in it and that is just too much sauce, man. Pizza One has figured out the right sauce/cheese/chicken ratio. Their regular cheese pie is a winner too. They do a really nice thin but not too thin crust here which works for a plain pie but also is a nice base for loading up with the toppings too. I also have to talk about their garlic knots. Also the best that I've found in town (so far anyway..). They are big, fluffy and loaded with garlic. They are served w/ marinara but if you've got an extra buck I'd suggest you spring for the vodka sauce - it's sooooo good w/ the knots. No complaints re: service or wait times for pies. Pizza One is just a super solid spot in town to get food. Bonus -- if you order online they've always got some sort of deal going on - ie: a large cheese pie and 12 wings for $26 or 3 large pies for $42. We often order the pizza/wing combo (when I'm not insisting on ordering the aforementioned buffalo chicken pizza..) and when you compare to other spots you're saving at least $5 which is not nothin'.

I'm honestly really disappointed because I had a completely different experience ordering from…read moreEmilio's Wood Fire Pizza this time compared to my first order on May 9th. The first margherita pizza I ordered was delicious and looked exactly like the photos they advertise online -- fluffy wood-fired crust, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and overall high quality. That positive experience is the reason I ordered again. Tonight, however, I opened the box and received what looked more like a thin-crust cheese pizza with tiny pieces of what appeared to be spinach scattered on top instead of fresh basil. The crust was thin and flat, not the thick, airy wood-fired dough that is advertised on their website and delivery platforms. The fresh mozzarella was also replaced with grated cheese, which completely changed the pizza. When I called the restaurant, I was told they do "Tavern Thursdays," where the margherita pizza is made differently -- thin crust, grated cheese, and basil sprinkled on instead of the traditional version. My issue is not necessarily that they offer a different style on Thursdays -- it's that this was NOT clearly advertised anywhere on the website or ordering platform where I placed my order. I was instead told that the information is posted on Instagram. That is unacceptable. Customers should not have to check a restaurant's social media to find out that the item they're ordering is completely different from what is being advertised on the actual ordering platform. If the pizza is going to be fundamentally changed one day a week, that should be clearly stated on the website, menu, and delivery apps before checkout. Otherwise, it feels misleading and false advertising. The pizza I received looked nothing like the photos used to advertise the margherita pizza, and not at all like the one I previously received. Really disappointing experience, especially after such a great first order.

Smash'N Pizza a great little upbeat neighborhood pizzeria on Union Blvd. In Totowa feels fun from the second you walk in. It's the kind of spot that's just as good for a casual slice as it is for a laid‑back burger with friends. The room is limited in size but buzzing, with bright red and black splashed across the walls, a few chairs and tables, and décor carefully planned so the whole space feels energetic and modern. Logos and graphics are scattered throughout, giving the restaurant a playful, branded vibe that makes it look and feel like a cool little Italian hangout rather than a typical slice joint. Pizza, which we shared as an appetizer is the star, with pies that come out hot, crisp, and flavorful, piled with fresh toppings if that's your choice, and a sauce that tastes like it was made that morning. As for me, I always prefer a plain cheese pie. Right alongside the pizza, the burgers were surprisingly fantastic too, juicy and well‑seasoned, and the menu branches out into plenty of other tempting choices to accomodate everyone's taste. I tried the double cheeseburger, along with fries and onion rings, and would certainly recommend giving it a try. Service and hospitality were on point, quick and friendly. And being greeted like a regular, even on my first visit, and checking in often without hovering was appreciated. The overall atmosphere made the place feel welcoming and relaxed, turning a quick lunch into the kind of experience people look forward to repeating. BTW: Smash'N Pizza is a BYOB and has off street free parking. Thank you to Roberto (Robert) and staff for a nice afternoon. We will certainly be back. 12/13/2025
