So happy this boutique opened in Claremont! The selection and prices are great. I seriously tried on 6 different pieces and loved them all. But I had to stop myself from going overboard, and I comprised with myself and bought three. But I'll be back this week to buy more :) I'm a hair stylist and I love to dress up for work, and everything they have is so very stylish and chic and wallet friendly. I bought a really cute black dress. A very basic black tunic sweater that on the hanger didn't look like much. But it's so cute on. I'm going back to buy the grey one. And my favorite piece was an ADORABLE beanie style head band. I literally bought something similar at Anthropologie two weeks ago for $28, but at Nectar it was $12!!! So all in all I spent $75 on a a dress, a sweater and the beanie. The service was friendly, professional and helpful. And the location is perfect, right in the village :) read more

I'm really hesitant on going down a star because the girls are nice and the clothes are still cute but they are no longer going to carry the basics that we came for all the time! Tshirts and tank tops for $4-5 are no more and the other items are now commonly $34 and up (denim is $43 & up), not nearly as inexpensive as they used to be. Many of the tops require a tank top underneath or lots of confidence! I am hoping the owner has a change of heart about the basics because I don't let my daughter buy tops that are so sheer without something to go under them. read more

This is a great little boutique in the heart of the Claremont Village. They carry really affordable basics, accessories and the latest in trendy tops and sweaters. I feel that the quality is better than your average fashion store out there and yet the prices are comparable. I agree with M. D. that the sizes are definitely for the smaller girls out there. The staff is pretty helpful and it's extra nice that they have a free frequent buyer program too. They also carry a pretty good selection of toms, which I love. read more

I love this store and miss going weekly to get my retail fix. I have purchased the cutest outfits from this boutique. The creativity behind their displays is reason enough to step inside. Guilty of coming here every week. I've been shopping here for years and I have seen a great deal of change in style as well as clothing supply. I always converse with the girls who work there and they are always friendly. Quality is sometimes not the best and I wish they had a better return policy but hey- it's the cutest/closest women's clothing store to me. read more

I used to walk by this place all the time, and would not go in because I did not think I'd be able to afford anything. Then I finally decided to take a look. So cute and so incredibly affordable. The dresses in the window look like dresses you'd find in an overpriced boutique, but they are between $25 and $40. read more

Love this store! Employees are friendly. The store is always extremely clean! I can look through the clothing easily to find what I need. It is dog friendly so I usually bring my corgi and every time the employees great him with enthusiasm and give him lots of love. He even made it on their Instagram! I love Nectar! I don't give out 5 stars usually, but Nectar deserves them, here's why: 1) Great variety of clothes with great style! I thought this place would be for high schoolers mainly, but I was wrong. I can find something professional for work, something casual for school and Vegas dresses for girls weekend. 2) Customer service was awesome! I think there were 3 sales people working when I came in, and all were so helpful. The girls were all really pretty, which I wasn't sure about at first. All 3 asked me questions and said hi, put my clothes near the dressing rooms while I looked around and even helped style me! It is rare nowadays to find such happy people in retail. 3) I can shop online with them, a huge plus. Thanx, I will be back!! read more

Cute and trendy clothes, but (to reiterate what someone said earlier) expensive for what it is. Most items in this store are cheaply made for what they charge. It might be better off going to a Forever 21, based on their unfriendly and snobby customer service. The workers here have a certain bias to who they are friendly and helpful to and it seems like their cordial attitude only applies to a select few. Looking at the similar reviews on this site, it's quite a shame that nothing about their customer service has changed and that such a store exists in Claremont. If you want to shop at a store where you may or may not be judged based on your appearance, then this store is the place for you! read more

The service is HORRIBLE, there are one or two girls who are super nice the but the rest kinda just roll their eyes. cute clothes, and decent prices. if you deal with a pained and jaded teenager attitude from a 24 year old then it's worth a look.. but i stopped going because the service is terrible. the manager really needs to know this. read more

I don't like shopping here because the girls that work here are rude... Oh and if you bring your kid in the store forget it they just want you leave ASAP.. They have the usual claremont attitude if you look like you don't have a lot of money we can't talk to you.. Even though they work at a small clothing store and make minimum wage... Hmm ok! I like their clothing (despite the monotony), but I was kinda of unimpressed with the service. There have been a couple times when I have come in and just have not felt welcome, asking for help and receiving little to none or approaching the check out counter and having the staff continue their conversation without notice to my presence. Although the clothes are super cute, trendy, and wearable, the price point is not right! Sometimes you can score a few things on the sale rack- but for the quality of clothes...all the stuff in the store should be half price/marked down. Not trying to get free stuff- it's just annoying when I overpay for stuff that breaks after two washes or a few wears. This used to be my favorite shop in Claremont but the tags are unreasonable for the most part. I'll pop back in here and there but it's just disappointing. Service is usually good. read more

My teenage daughter loves this clothing store in Claremont Village. The clothes are cute with current trends. Not wildly expensive, but not cheap either. A great alternative to the mall, and it seems to be a hit as a place for getting gift cards. Worth checking out. read more

I didn't realize this store just opened two weeks ago, but I'm glad it did! First bought a birthday dress for Vegas, an adorable top, and a $2.50 ring for about $60. Then had to come back for shoes! I went there just recently in the Claremont Village. The price range is definitely affordable. :) The interior is real cute. They sell toms and really cute clothes and some are color coordinated. The bags are very nice too. I love their jewelry they should be known for their jewelry. It's a cute botique. The service was great. It wasn't very busy. They have brands from popular girl stores. I found Nordstrom brands there and Active v necks. They have great sales and really pretty and unique stuff:) Pretty high-quality as well. read more

I have been to Nectar several times for trendy items or simple pieces that go well with stretch pants. I liked the store in the beginning because customer service and price points were great. After the store has been in business for a while prices started to climb. The brand and label stayed the same. I was bummed because I washed a few items and hung them out to dry and I noticed a few garments were fraying and falling apart. I ignored the issue because I was pregnant and didn't worry about my temporary attire. Btw, clothes were not falling apart because of me... I'm small framed and wore the correct size. Well long story short I went backed purchased another blouse and wore it the same day for a dinner date. My friend noticed my blouse was falling apart by the seams in the front neckline area. The next day I tried to return/ exchange the blouse and the sales ill said I couldn't return or exchange the item. I had my receipt too. She said it was damaged. Well yeah the garment is ultra cheep and not worth 30 bucks. I purchased a coat there once too and all of the buttons fell off. I'm over it. My daughter and I stopped going there since. read more
