Well, I guess in the words of the classically forgettable James Bond movie, you Never Say Never Again. My old lady does like her Ford's, in particular the Escape. Not because they're great, sexy, powerful, etc. but because they're reliable and having driven one for a decade, it's a known commodity. Recent Experience 1: Very much on a whim with buying the car here. Gently used two-year-old Escape Titanium with low miles. The process here is very straight forward. After my wife did the test drive and said she liked it, I made it clear upfront that we're not doing the four-square game and that if anything like that occurs, the transaction is done. Thankfully I was assured that while they did that at one time, current management supposedly frowns on games so basically when it comes time to talk numbers, it's kind of the price is the price. You get a single sheet of paper, period. stop. done. There was a little haggle over the price but nothing extreme as the price of the car was already more than fair for a top of line - all bells and whistles included model. I asked for a bit off and the sales guy had to do the theatre act of "going to speak with his boss" for approval but based on how he said it, again, it was theatre. Two pseudo downsides to this part. The first would be that because we started this process so late in the day (and finished well after the they would normally close) the car wasn't exactly fully cleaned off the way it should have been. A good bit of residual dust on it from the ol' cement plant down the street, the gas tank was maybe 3/8 full and some sticky residue left on the window from the sticker. It was late and they half-assed it. The other would be the F&I guy. Let's just say, he knows how to try and scare people into buying things they probably don't need. Very, very easy during that part of the process to add multi-thousands of dollars on to the purchase price. Of course, make sure, if possible, to have your own financing in place. Even if you have excellent credit, the "best rate" they'll get you is more than 2% higher than what you can find locally at several area lending institutions including the credit union across the street. Service: Overall, this part of the process is fairly simple. Go on their website, choose a time for service and then click some boxes as to what you want. Day of, it was about an hour for an oil change/tire rotation and the waiting room was deserted. That little ditty comes to about $130 but since we bought the car there, this one (and only visit) was on the house. Nice little doom and gloom video from the technician that gets texted to you after where he is recommending tires on a car with 20K miles that was bought there and has only ever been serviced there and at the time of the sale was never mentioned. Amazing! Big time swipe left on that recommendation. Look, at the end of the day this process is what it is. It's not enjoyable and I truly don't think you ever really win; you're just trying not to lose, badly. I will not be servicing this car here the same as we never serviced the last car that was bought here (distance + too pricey + non-realistic recommendations) and I hold no allegiance to ever buying anything in the future from here. read more

By far the WORST car buying experience of my life (including the regretful purchase from a sleazy used car lot in which the vehicle was deemed undrivable within 9 months.) I'd give zero stars if not for Bryce, who sold us the car; AJ, who helped with the paperwork; and Jordan, who made us laugh through the frustration. All three are top notch salespeople with whom I would gladly do business again--if they worked someplace else. I arrived to the dealer about an hour after my mom and brother. They had already checked out the car, I was just there to help with payment. I wanted to partially pay with a credit card (Most dealerships allow 1/4 to 1/2 of the price to be paid on a card. My purpose was to get points from the card, which would help my mom by lowering her total cost.) then pay the balance with a business check. Bryce went to check with the sales manager and came back with Cory, who had an attitude before he even opened his mouth. Cory advised us that it was arbitrary (up to him) whether to allow credit card payments or not. He chose to authorize only $1000. (My mom eventually convinced him to up it to $2000.) Next he said he would only accept a certified bank check. My closest branch is in NJ. I offered to show him my bank balance on my phone, call the bank and have them confirm the money was in there, or do an electronic bank transfer. He refused all and tried giving me lame excuses: their bank doesn't always accept checks (What bank does not accept a properly prepared check?), it takes several days for the check to clear (Okay, hold the title until it does.), something about the bank being considered the owner of the car, and, my personal favorite, "What if you can't make the payments on the card?" WTF business is it of his whether or not I can make credit card payments? The nerve!! I'd like to note that I have bought 2 cars by check: one at a Chevy dealer outside Philly and the other at a Ford dealer in New Hampshire. That's right, a dealer accepted my out-of-state check while the dealer in my own backyard would not. In both cases I received the title in the mail after the checks had cleared. Of course you could always finance the car, offered Cory, mansplaining how auto rates are so much better than credit card rates. Oh really? Thanks, bruh. But at least two of my credit cards have 0% interest rate. (Probably because my credit score is well over 800 and my credit-to-debt ratio is about 3%. But do go on about how I might not be able to make the credit card payments.) And why aren't you worried I won't pay THAT loan? So I drove the 20 minutes to my bank, where it took at least a 1/2 to get the certified check, then drove back to the dealership. After a long wait we were told there was a problem with the registration system. Finally, they came out with the paperwork and a new license plate, even though my mom had brought hers and let them know she wanted to use the same one. The business manager had said keeping her plate was not an option because of the registration glitch. (Huh??) I'm not exaggerating when I say FIVE HOURS LATER (Mom arrived at the dealership at 9 am.) we pulled off the lot. At the first stoplight, my mom noticed a problem with the interior light blinking. Back to the dealer we went. I'm not sure how this ends up because after 5 1/2 hours, I had to leave. But I can tell you... never ever ever again. read more

Don't go there if you want to use your financing I was told by Corey the sales manager there would be no deal without using their financing. Sad thing is this is a Koch dealership who I've bought vehicles from in the past and always had a good experience with them. The dealership reach out very quickly to our inquiry and assisting in scheduling our visit. * Arrival - entire team was very welcoming when we walked in the door. * Salesperson - Bryce was very well mannered and easy going. Helped us with any issues, asked intelligent questions, and was very calm, and not pushy in his approach. * Insurance - a new feature that went very well. A nice addition in you keep it up. Jamel was very helpful and had a good grasp of what he was doing. * Finance - Jacob was very clear and professional in his approach. Got through all the paperwork in a orderly and timely manner. And that leaves us with Sales Manager Cory Wismer. At 60 years old , this is not my first time talking to a Sales Manager in a dealership, so I understand what they have to do and how they act, but Cory managed to take being rude, mean, and condescending to a new level. He started the conversation stating that we insulted him because I gave a figure $3000 down from the list. $3000...we are talking about, not $5000, not $10,000 - just $3000, thinking we would meet in the middle. Specifically, he said that "he was insulted by our offer and lucky for us he had thick skin, and it wasn't our problem that he paid to much for the car to begin with". Let me be clear - the only reason we stayed there, is because my wife really liked the vehicle, and she is always my first priority 24/7. If the vehicle was for me, we would have been right out the door (I have done it before when treated that way in any industry). We were there on a Thursday night for two hours, and a Friday afternoon for an hour with no other customers to be seen. I would have thought he would be a little more interested in making a sale with a barren showroom. And after all of his bravado, we were only off that $3000 meet in the middle figure by $600 dollars. It takes a lot more energy to be mean and rude to customers - that whole 10 minute speech of his was totally unnecessary. Since he is the boss, I guess that's how things are and lets' be honest, Cory is not going to change. The one thing that change right now is where I go for my next vehicle in 2024. As a single mom buying a car for my son turning 16, I feel I was taken advantage of. I had enough cash IN HAND to buy the car outright. I was told by Cory that I could get closer to the "deal" I wanted ONLY if I financed with them. I agreed with the understanding by both parties that I would be paying it off immediately (stupid process). The day I was given the information, I called Ally bank to pay it off in full, got the correct "buyout" and paid it off on the phone- or so I thought. Two weeks later the money was still in my account. After calling Ally back I was told that my payoff transaction was set for a month AFTER I called therefore I owed more than 200 dollars in interest again. Absolutely scamming me. I called Cory to see if he could help make it right by even JUST a few free oil changes and I was ignored. Even after conveying I felt like they took advantage of me because I was a woman. I would be happy to take this review down if any of those men who I worked with want to step up and provide some decent customer service. Took my truck in to get 2 tire sensors repaired. They said it would be one hour - reality is it should be a very simple easy fix. I had planned to wait but they convinced me to take their shuttle home to wait....I expected it to all be done by noon at the latest. 9 HOURS LATER I finally got a call telling me the problem - which was obvious when I dropped it off. No one had fixed it or touched it and I was told it could "maybe" be done the next day and would cost over 400$ !!! Not acceptable customer service in any way! I don't like to give bad reviews. I bought a 2016 Ford Focus here and I always bring my car here to do oil changes and whatever else it needs. I was parked somewhere and when I left the parking spot the lip of my car was on top of the curb so the left side was detached and the clips we're in place. I asked them to look at it and they told me all clips were broken and I would have to order new one and it would cost me around $200 to get it fixed. I took my car somewhere else and they did tell me 1 clip was broken but were able to fix the lip of my car in a literally 5min. Please shop around when you get a quote from here. My husband and I have been looking to trade in our car for a truck for about the last month or so. The only reason I considered a Ford is because they advertise on the radio that they'll give you 125% of what your trade is worth. I got into contact with their internet person. Explained to her that I have 3 young (3, 2, and 1 year old) children and thats its difficult to take them places for an extended period of time. She said it was no problem and that they would be expecting me at noon the next day and have the truck pulled up and it they would make it as quick as possible. Well...no one knew I was coming. Ok. I can handle that. I picked out the wrong truck anyway. Once we decided on the right truck I said the keys are in my car get me a trade in value and the best price on that truck and I'll talk to my husband about it when he gets home from work. 20 Minutes later the salesman came back to me with no numbers except my trade in value which was exactly the same as the other dealerships gave me. OK. I can deal with the false advertising too. What REALLY got me was when the salesman said he didn't work any other numbers because it would be a waste of time since my husband wasn't there and maybe we should wait until I can come back in with the MAIN DECISION MAKER. But can he call me next week to see what day and time works for us? Sorry. You can't make me a deal good enough for me to come back and get disrespected like that again. read more

I purchased a vehicle from Nazareth Ford at the end of January, huge mistake. I should have known better. Everything seemed well until my salesman had to "get the manager." Cory Wismer is the rudest, most arrogant person I have come in contact with in the two years of looking to purchase a car, speaks volumes as I've come in contact with a lot of people. He was very arrogant because I was paying cash and went on to tell me how he doesn't care if I'm paying cash he prefers financing because of their kickback. He was super rude because I wanted to have a mechanic look at it first. I overlooked the fact that they tried to push the car off as having leather and navigation, biggest red flag! I come back from the mechanic and let my salesman know about the front left wheel bearing the mechanic mentioned and of course he had to get the rude manager, Cory Wismer, to intimidate me, mind you I already had the check to purchase the car in hand (but he didn't know that yet). He automatically came over with an attitude saying they knew about the "slight" problem. Even bigger red flag! Became super defensive until he realized I had the check and then changed his whole tone. I just wanted him to get out of my face as quickly as possible. Well the slight problem ended up costing $500 to repair. Then, I go to vacuum my car for the first time and lift the weather mats to find out my floor mats are no longer anywhere in the car!!! I call to ask if it was an oversight and basically they told me I was lying the car didn't come with floor mats!! Like what? I literally saw them when I test drove it!! Stopped in with my FORD because my abs light came on. Went into service dept and spoke with someone explaining that I'd like to have my truck hooked up to see what's with the sensor.. I was told that I need to schedule an appointment. I don't understand this... it's a FORD DEALER, I OWN AND DRIVE A FORD. It's a simple hookup to the trucks computer and they can't oblige a customer? So I guess I'll be going to auto zone or advanced auto... funny how those stores will check lights immediately for your convenience and potential sale of a part, yet a dealership sends me packing with such a simple quick task. Purchased my 2015 Ford Focus Ecoboost 6speed new from Nazareth. Put on less then 10k miles a year and took it for oil changes and tire rotation. No big deal, service ok, people polite enough. THEN.....I got a recall notice regarding some updates to the electronics. Ok, drop it off and call later, still working on it. Next day, still working on it and they cannot get hold of the service manager for the "group" I am in. Ok, it is Friday so I need a car, walk over to Enterprise and rent one for the weekend. Monday comes, still working on it and cannot get hold of service manager for my group. What the heck is going on. Found out they had the clutch apart. What, this was a service call for electronics. Oh, their mistake, put it back together finally get it back on Tuesday. The best is yet to come. I few weeks later clutch starts to act up, gets worse. Fool me once.......I take the car over to my regular mechanics "Wrenchtec". They replace clutch, car works fine. Why didn't I go back to Nazareth Ford, don't trust em, they are not ever going to touch my car again. I will pay Wrenchtec gladly to do any work including warranty over going back to Nazareth. read more

Bought a used truck. Yes it was "AS IS" so of course its "our fault". During sales process we were advised "We send all the bad ones to auction" and they had just inspected it so felt pretty decent about the purchase. 10 minutes onto our way home transmission started slipping when I was accelerating to highway speed which wasn't noticeable during the test drive due to low rpm driving. Dad said to bring it home anyway as we are mechanics and might be a simple fix and didn't want to make a big issue out of it. Scanned it and it had plenty of transmission slip codes etc. All mileages are verifiable only drove the truck home. They offered $500 for a $3500+ repair quote. Truck was just inspected prior to sale so either there mechanics suck or they are fine with scamming people for profit. Either way don't buy a used vehicle from them or use there service department they wont even stand by a vehicle for a day. read more

Here's my short story of the most dishonest car buying experience I've ever had & some of the most unprofessional managers I've ever dealt with. I purchased an F150 from Nazareth Ford My salesman( Josh Barberbraun ) told me that if I had any issues right away they would take care of it no problem. 2 miles off the lot the check engine light came on. When I turned around and returned to the dealer the finance manager Steve Gilbert laughed and said " I bet you wish you bought the extended warranty" The sales manager Doug Searles told me " we can call it even for the check engine light because you kept the GPS card from your trade in " & told me to drive it some, the light is probably just from sitting. By this point the dealership was closing, the service center was closed and I was over 2 hours away from home left stranded with a broken truck. We brought the truck home in limp mode. The next day I called our salesman Josh to see when he could get the truck in for service. Josh told me they would not honor the agreement & i was on my own. After this I called and talked to the general manager Chris Miller. Chris told me he was unaware of the whole situation and scheduled me for a service appointment to drop the truck off. The service department replaced multiple sensors and plugs and wiring but still could not get the problem fixed. Every time I drop the truck off for service is over 8 hours of driving round trip During the covid19 epidemic no one responded to my emails letting them know that the truck was still broken. It's now 3 months later, the truck is still basically undrivable & after my first diagnoses at another ford dealership im told the truck likely has bad timing chains that will cost many thousands to fix. On a side note I told the service department that my engine was making a ticking sound while it was in for the service. They told me they checked it and told me its lifter tick which is common on very high mileage engines (100k is high mileage?) When we picked the truck up the noise got louder and louder. As soon as I open to the hood my wife instantly pointed out the problem that the Ford certified mechanics could not see The serpentine belt was falling apart! I installed a new belt on the side of the road, the next day the water pump failed leaving us stranded. 3 months later heres our parts list Waterpump Serpentine belts Idler pulleys Bad AC compressor Blown out Shocks and struts Bald Tires (sold to me @ 3/32) Broken hvac actuator (qouted at $1300) And it will continue as i try to find someone to fix the engine issues. read more

When I asked how long the financial advisor gave me a rude answer. The truck has had a vibration since day one. The truck has been there 4 times. They had to put a steering box in it. Fix the rear end. Fix a trans leak. Complete junk. I'm sitting here waiting for them to look at it and it was sitting outside. Everyone is clueless. Really cannot give any stars. I brought our 2008 F350 Diesel in for a state inspection and oil change. They came back late in the day, right before service dept closed, and stated the truck needed approximately $6500.00 worth of work, exhaust manifolds, pump asy, wire asv, rotors. Gave the ok, (my error, big time). Picked the veh. up 7 days later, drove to work one day, the next day, the vehicle just died 1 mile from home. Had it towed back to them, and they stated "must be the engine, it's frozen". All I know is that when I took the vehicle in, it was working fine. Now I am left with a non working/driveable vehicle, and they wont do anything about it. Say need new engine, costing over $21K. Now, how right is that???? read more

The sales manager, a little guy with dark hair, was the most dishonest liar I've ever dealt with at a car dealership. I'm not a young guy and have bought a lot of vehicles over the years. So I was looking to trade in my 2015 F150 platinum on a new mustang GT. Now I live about 2 hours from this dealer but they had one in stock with the options I wanted. I spoke back and forth with them via email and asked them several times if they can give me a close appraisal on my trade without having to drive 4 hours round trip. I was told no that is not possible but they reassured me that they beat auto-trader trade in value by 20%. I once again said ok so you are saying that it is worth this much prior to coming in and granted everything is as described the price will be close correct? Once again was told to come in and I won't be disappointed. Long story short the instant cash offer from auto trader (You drive your car to any dealer that participates with them and they hand you the cash for your vehicle) was $1,000 higher than the "best price" they could do on a trade. Now that cash offer is far less than the trade in value and much less than the 20% premium they hounded me about over and over. The best part was that I had to "drive in" for the appraisal yet I parked my vehicle outside the showroom floor and not one person even inspected it. The sales man sat in the office of the appraiser and they never left. So tell me why couldn't you have given me a garbage offer on my truck over the internet since you didn't even bother to get up and look at my truck? I will never deal with these people again nor recommend them to anyone I know. So many better dealers out there to deal with like Koons in MD or Preston auto group which are fair and willing to work with you not just lie to get you in the dealership to try to sell you a car. read more

I came here from over 200 miles away to get a part for my F150. A part that I told another dealer to order and install on my truck 2 days ago before they started the work on it and they didn't feel the need. Now here I am because afterwards the fools then told me that this part needed to be replaced as well but it would be tomorrow before they got the part. Not acceptable for me so I came to get it. These people here in the parts department are very kind and helpful. I didn't wait around because they kept the part I called for 4 hours ago right up front. Paula in the service department was very rude doesn't belong in customer service! Doesn't call back when your waiting hours on a call. Take your car for service and told brakes and rotors need immediate attention rated them a 1mm i leave and 2 other certified ford mechanics check them and measures way different where no urgency needed and would pass inspection. I then ran a vehicle health report off my internal system that tells me no issues found brakes &rotors checked out to be good also issues under recall colum but no they didnt tell me. They unprogrammed my car remote when programming the new one that's when Paula calls me a last the that's impossible and fords not fixing it and I hv the receipt read more

Me and my fiance have been looking at explorers since August 2019. We came along one at the location in beginning of October 2019. 2018 ford explorer with 4000 miles on it with a price tag 30,976 which is fine. So end of November 2019 rolls around we decided to call to make sure still available. It's still there. 3 days later we get a text that the price has dropped by 4365.00 on the explorer. So today we decided to go buy this vehicle. But said to myself this is to good of a deal. So I decide to go to there website, website says as of 11/27/2019 price has been reduced. Only thing the price says 30,976 still. Ok so now I'm gonna go any way to find out what's going on. We get there the little lady takes for test drive. When she gets back from drive we go to the crunching number time. I questioned the price advertised and what we told from the text message. If the price is 30976.00 - 4365.00 that would make it 26,611.00, but that's not what we were told. According to them the price comes down 10.00 a day and that's were the 4365.00 has already been deducted and is now 30976.00, after listening the bs from jonah I nearly started to laugh. I thank him for wasting my time by lying to my fiance about the drop in price which did not seem to bother him at all. If your gonna lie about the price make sure you dont leave a paper trail from 10/8/2019 till now. It dont look good. Also lying your website on 11/27/2019 the price was reduced and it wasnt. It's been the same price for the longest time. Lying to customers is bad and a major deal breaker. Included is the add from 10/8/2019 and 11/27/2019 and as of today 11/30/2019 the price is still 30976.00 and as of today there is over 7000 miles on it. Do your homework and watch how sneaky these guys are. I would never recommend this dealership to no one. After lie, after lie and jonah trying to make excuses you lost trust in me and my fiance. I had to trade in my Jeep Compass as it needed more work than the vehicle was worth. I am victim/survivor of divorce and have credit that is scary at best, Nazareth Ford helped me get th loan I needed and a vehicle that fit my wants and need to get from point A to Z .... They sure came through. I now have a beautiful Nissan Murano , I had my first inspection this month and Naz ford did. Great job. Did I get away scoot free with a little bill ? NO $815.00 bucks later I have a very quite new muffler. But the service Dept . And my service rep explained everything and even offered to show me the problem , I am a very happy pleased and recommend Nazareth Ford for new or used vehicle and defiantly recommend the service department ! read more

I leased a Ford Explorer in June 2014. I gave a few prerequisites for my purchase. I didn't want navigation or a moonroof. I find them unnecessary and expensive options that driving up the price of a vehicle. I went on a test drive in, what I thought was a 2014, but was a 2015 model. After crunching some numbers, I believed the vehicle that I was test driving was more vehicle then I need it. After 8 hours at the dealership they talked me in to leasing it, above what I wanted to pay. After I signed the paperwork The dealer came out and said I sign the lease on the 2014 model which was "the same vehicle just one year older." After being there for so long I didn't want to haggle so I took him at his word. When they pull the car around it had both a moonroof and GPS. The dealer also told me I wouldn't have a payment until September. But I got a bill that was due in August. Of course, the dealer didn't want to admit that's what he said and kept telling me to refer to my contract. Because after eight hours of shopping for a car I want to read and review every document to make sure they were telling the truth. My mistake. After a brief call to corporate they adjusted the due date. So I had buyers remorse, but not the worst thing that could happen to a customer. Months later, I was a little upset that the dealership told my wife that the inspection was due and talked her into getting the service done without accurate information (seems like this is reoccurring, according to Chris C.) We started our lease in June of 2014 and the inspection was done in April. I understand there is a convenience of not having to bring the car back in 2 months, however my fear is that the final inspection will need to be done one or four months (depending if the dealership tries to talk her into another inspection a month or two before the current one is due) before the lease is over. This will add an unnecessary cost to a vehicle I will be turning in. I would have just preferred the service department be forthcoming with the information, telling my wife the inspection will be due in June, rather than telling her the inspection needed to be done two months early. Then I get an email a couple days later asking "How did we do?" I respond with the above complaint and I haven't heard anything. All the things I wrote here were expressed in survey's I took. Why would they ask how they were doing if they aren't going to do anything to rectify the situation? Just bad business. I will be taking my money else where for the trade in. read more

I bought a set of tires for a Ford F150 from these folks. The fellow in the parts department took a lot of time helping me with the selection and was very helpful. Based on that positive experience I scheduled my truck for a 60k mi service. I told the service adviser that I got a quote from another dealer - he thought it was high. His turned out much higher (i.e. $225 to change trans fluid). Then the service adviser told me that they could not change the fuel filter because the plastic clips that secure the fuel line were broken. The mechanic said the clips cannot be replaced and would require replacing the fuel line - a $308 item - not in stock. While they completed the service job I walked across the street to an AutoZone where they said yes the clips are replaceable ($12 part) and they could have them next day. Then I went to the dealer's parts counter (to helpful guy) who located the part # and ordered the part. I then told the chagrined service adviser - he said bring your truck in tomorrow and we'll replace the filter. I thought it there was going to be no labor charge. The next day it cost me $95 to replace a fuel filter. The $12 A part was $36. I really had hoped that I'd found a good "small town" dealer with good service. Guess I'll keep looking. In general I've found Ford service to be expensive with sub par quality. BTW - the service manager was no help and defended their actions stating that "they would do the right thing" if it was not necessary to replace the part - whatever that means! This place is a joke! We went there because of their commercials about being the best place to my a vehicle and the deals they have. It was the worst experience. The salesman didn't seem knowledgeable about what he could give us in our price range. After we told him we were interested in buying a Ford product he brought out keys to a Jeep! We told him our top things were over 30 MPG and a warranty. He showed us an escape whose warranty was just about up. After getting upset with him his manager came out and after telling him our top priorities again tried to sell us a new Escape but still does not get the gas mileage we wanted. We had been to Nissan previously and had a much better experience. Perhaps their salesman and managers should go on a field trip and see how it's really done! And also taking care of your customers also means inviting them to go back in the building while you are researching rather than letting them stand out in the cold while it is snowing! Nissan also offered water, coffee and hot chocolate! read more
