The bar out back is great! We sometimes grab a togo drink for the boat. A little pricey for weaker drinks. Havent eaten there even tho we pass it to get to the dock weekly.
Second time here, still an awesome place to visit. This time, came on a Sunday for brunch. They were very busy as to be expected on a beautiful Sunday. We had 6 adults and a toddler. We were seated within 40 minutes. There was music, sun, a nice breeze and just smiles all around. There were multiple celebrations going on. A birthday and a girls brunch. Shemal our server did a fine job. Even confirming if we wanted Bloody Mary (vodka) or Maria (tequila). Everyone enjoyed their brunch. From blackened salmon sandwich, lobster Benedict, salmon Benedict and children's eggs, toast and bacon. I love to visit when I'm in town. Continue to recommend!
After an afternoon boating down the intercostal, we stopped off at the Nauti Dawg for a hearty dinner on the waterfront. Seafood leads the menu here, with my ahi tuna prepared excellently and the smoked mahi-mahi fish dip standing out as an excellent app. As predicted by the name, the restaurant is dog-friendly, and even has a special dog menu just for the pups who accompany to the outdoor areas. My only detraction from this meal was that the spicy cucumber and onion salad was drowning in dressing and coated the palate, which made it more difficult to enjoy the fish. This dish also didn't include rice or anything to soak up sauce, so I had no respite from the salad dressing. I would potentially suggest to the restaurant team to look at this salad and make it fresher/lighter and/or to add a starch to this dish.
Solid 3 star rating - It's the local spot you go to via boat or car for lunch, drinks, or dinner and stay for the view. Food is solid and the drinks cold; Service well let's say less than stellar- Would still recommend just don't look for that over the top service plans to ask for a refill or silverware
The Nauti Dawg Marina Café is the definition of a hidden local gem! Tucked away on the water, it has the perfect nautical charm and an unbeatable view of the marina. You can sit inside or outside, but I definitely recommend outside to enjoy the breeze and watch the boats roll in. We went for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The 2-2-2 mix with eggs, ham, and bacon was a hearty and delicious way to start the day. The blueberry granola yogurt was light, refreshing, and full of flavor. And the pancakes? Perfectly fluffy and absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, generous, and cooked to perfection. What really blew us away was how dog-friendly this place is. We brought our puppy along, and the first thing the staff did was bring her a bowl of water and get her comfortable. They even have a full puppy menu--yes, you read that right! Scrambled eggs, hamburger, mac and cheese, and more. Our pup was in heaven. (Note: pups are only allowed outside, but with the giant fans keeping things cool, it was perfect for us.) The service was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and welcoming to both people and pups. We loved it so much, we actually came back just two days later with family, and everyone agreed this spot is a winner. Whether you're coming for a hearty breakfast, the relaxing marina vibe, or a fun outing with your pup, Nauti Dawg Marina Café is a place I'd recommend over and over again. A true South Florida treasure.
I tried the nauti-dawn Marina cafe for the first time last week for Sunday brunch . I knew this was a popular spot , so a friend go there early ;before 11 to reserve a table for the 5 of us . We all ordered from the brunch menu - I had an omelette and chose avocado - spinach and tomato inside - I chose fresh fruit and multigrain toast it was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Another friend ordered pancakes and she sent them back due to the insides being a bit raw . My other friends had the crab and nova Benedict's and seemed to enjoy them. THEY have live music during brunch but we couldn't hear it since we were sitting away from DJ .the setting is beautiful- right on the water - great photo ops . I was able to find parking on the street and my friends parked in a nearby lot . All in all a nice Sunday brunch with friends
We stumbled upon this local spot while looking for the ferry over to Cap's. The view of the marina alone was worth the trip. Service was good, not overly hovering but fine. The food was basic. My fish was more of a corn meal bread crumb batter than the lighter beer batter I expected. It was dry. I also substituted the spicy cucumber salad for fries. It was soggy and the dressing did not taste like it was fresh. My husband also got a fish sandwich but chose grouper. Unfortunately it was full of bones so he didn't eat much. Overall the view and vibe here are great. The food would not be what we return for !
Nauti-Dawg Marina is a waterfront cafe located in the Lighthouse Point Marina. It was founded in 1997 by the Kenney family. Through the years they have expanded and now serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. You can enjoy weekly live entertainment and music and the restaurant has a full liquor license. The Caribbean-American menu was inspired by the tropical atmosphere. The brunch menu features classic and signature dishes, omelets, benedicts, coffee, tea, and sides. The lunch and dinner menu features fresh seafood, appetizers, soup, salads, sandwiches, tacos, pasta, ribs, steak chops, and more. Knowing the Nauti-Dawg's reputation as being very dog friendly my daughter and I decided to take our precious dog Sunny for one last outing before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge that afternoon. We hadn't eaten in days and I honestly needed a drink. We packed him up and when we arrived they were quite busy but they have a comfortable seating area to wait in. When it was our time to be seated we had a perfect table right next to the water. They also have a cute little gift shop you can browse while you wait. We started with the Strawberry Shortcake and Peach Breeze cocktails which thankfully actually had alcohol in them. Then we ordered the Avocado Toast, Coconut French Toast, bacon, and Breakfast Potatoes. The food and drinks were great and while we ate we enjoyed the live music and beautiful view. A young lady came over and took a picture of my daughter holding Sunny which she presented in a frame and I purchased it. As we we were getting ready to pay and leave a gentleman named John Sullivan stopped by to pet Sunny. We started chatting and when he heard why we were there he picked up the bill. That kindness meant so much to me. Speaking to him and his beautiful gesture gave me strength. I appreciate John and everyone who stopped by our table that day to offer consoling words. They really do love dogs at the Nauti-Dawg.

I was greeted with a smile and taken straight to my table. There was Key West music gently floating in the breeze. My drink order was taken and back to the table within minutes. Started with calamari...so tender I had to check twice to be sure it was calamari! It was, and I ate most of it before my guest arrived. We both ordered the Catch of the Day Sandwich. Happened to be grouper, which is one of my favorites! I got grilled, my guest ordered blackened. We were both happy with our choice. The fish was cooked beautifully and was, luckily, not over seasoned or oily. I love the cucumber salad. The Thai dressing used in it was excellently balanced between heat and a touch of sweet. My guest had the sweet potato fries, which were marvelous. A little pricey, but I would expect no less from the area we were in...and I was happy to pay the price! Great quality, awesome service and a beautiful view. I am taking me wife tomorrow evening...so yes, I will be making return visits! read more

I've been seeing numerous posts on Facebook about new management and an amazing new menu so we decided to try it out!! We were not disappointed! It's a fairly large place, we were seated outside with fans blowing so added bonus! The water and views were beautiful, live music and lots of fish going on! The waiter was knowledgeable and very sweet. The food was equally delicious, we all enjoyed. Portions were a bit small in some and some of the food did come out cold, but we were sitting and enjoying and didn't feel the need to complain. Can't wait to go back and try the brunch! read more

Went as a party of 6 for a birthday dinner. We waited about 50 minutes for a table. It was outdoor seating. Very cramped and the flooring pavers was uneven. Dogs everywhere which I'm not against but the dogs seemed stressed with the cramped loud space. To order and to get our apps took over a hour when they did come out they were cold. Conch chowder was good they replaced some but not everyone's. Coconut shrimp was not good seemed old or had sat a while. Fettuccini was angel hair and cold. Salmon good but potato's were advertised as wasabi but were just average. We asked the waiter if they were short staffed and he said no the kitchen is just tiny. A photographer came and took about 10 pictures and seemed to have an attitude when we did not want to pay $20 for the photo. Whole experience took almost 4 hours. I had a chopped salad which was nothing to write home about bland. Tuna was fatty and chewy. We literally had to eat on our way home. This place is not for me and I know it was very popular and most people gave great reviews.hope it was an off night. Waiter was very apologetic and comped 50% of the bill. read more

I absolutely love nauti dawg. It is one of my favorite spots to come to by boat, especially for breakfast. We all started with their starfish mimosa (they have a ton of juice choices for mimosas). My breakfast wrap was delicious and I definitely had enough for leftovers. The corned beef hash plate came out perfect and the three others all ordered the eggs Benedict, over hard (don't ask me why) and they all came out as requested. Annie was our waitress and she was so sweet and very attentive. The patio is on the water but even inside has a view. read more
Nauti Dawg Marina Cafe is right on the intracoastal in Lighthouse Point. Beautiful marina setting a bit on the pricier side. It was hard to find but I'm sure it is well known and just a walk away for all the locals in this area. We just had beers and split a mahi mahi fish dip appetizer. Next time, I'm bringing the crew to enjoy a cheeseburger for the dawgs. read more

I came here with my ladies lunch group. It was like 90 degrees but we didn't feel the heat with the breeze coming off the water as well as running fans. We were under a lovely covering. First of all the Manager, Heather, made us a menu welcoming us. Our tables were set in the same location looking over the water & docks. I ordered the Mediterranean salad with the catch of the day- grouper. It was delicious & I was so busy talking- I took the rest home. Annie- our server has been there for many years & she did a great job. The other server was also very good. Most of the food came out fast. Wanted to mention that they serve brunch till 3pm everyday. Also are extremely Dog Friendly- they even have a doggy menu! I can see coming back here often. I definitely will come back for dinner with the hubby to check out other items on the menu. Thank you- Heather, for the warm welcome & also compliments to the chef- I met but didn't get his name! read more

Last Sunday was Mom's brunch day, so my daughter and a good friend of hers took her mom and me to the Nauti Dawg minus our dogs. ItLast was a beautiful spring day, and the pelicans were out, as well as the tarpons for feeding. I love watching them. We sat outside for the full benefit of the sea life. We ordered 1 Short Rib sandwich, a Mahi sandwich, a Ham and cheese omelette ( it was on the dry side), and a mushroom and cheese omelette (also overcooked). The other mom ordered a Spicy Bloody Mary, which looked delicious. Our server was very attentive and nice. We had a good time and enjoyed the vibe of people, dogs, pelicans, boats, and tarpons! read more

A nice little restaurant in the marina with a beautiful beach vibe. The seating is well shaded and offers great views. The food was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. Unfortunately I didn't capture too many photos of the food, but i enjoyed the wings and the rest of the party enjoyed their breakfast items and appetizers. read more

What a beautiful scenic stop for lunch on the water in Lighthouse Point. It's a bring your dogs kind of place. They even have dog meal selections on the menu. No reservation was needed. The menu prices for lunch were a little expensive. Our server took a while to get to us. I ordered a salad, $21.+ 12. For shrimp on it. The waiter when asking said, "Which would you like on it, shrimp, chicken or fish? " no mention as to added price. I should have known better. My husband had a barbecue grilled cheese sandwich. I had ice tea. The bill was $62. The food was very good. read more

Thank you for the feedback!
Really excited to try out Nauti Dawg for the first time. Great location overlooking the marina. I got the roasted beet salad, which started at $19 without any protein. I added chicken for a steep $10 and I was very disappointed with the portion of chicken that came on my salad. Definitely not worth 10 dollars and the salad was certainly not big enough for 20 dollars. I was hungry by the time I finished the salad. Also, there was barely any lettuce and WAY too many beets. Next time, please do not serve it on a ridiculously thin plate, there was food constantly falling over the side. The plate was so small and I had a piece of chicken go overboard, and that was probably $5 worth of chicken I lost! A tragedy :( My friends berry spinach salad was a much bigger portion so she was happy with that. Overall, prices are absurdly high and I was very dissatisfied with my salad but atmosphere is nice. Will only come back for drinks if I ever do. read more

The atmosphere is the best part of Nauti Dawg! It's casual and relaxing with a great view of the marina. I also love that they've remained dog friendly and offer a great dog menu. I think the food has improved greatly since my last visit. The eggs and bacon were pretty standard, but I'd highly recommend the side of hash browns. They were delicious! The prices are very high, as you're paying for the atmosphere, so I would say it's a once in a while kind of breakfast spot. The service was pretty good. If you haven't been, it's worth bringing your four-legged friend for breakfast! read more

Service was very nice, polite and not rushed!! Loved the view of the boats, fun atmosphere. Food was delicious, pricey yes, but if you consider it's Light house pointe and in the marina then well you get what you pay for and it's worth every penny!! Hostess were wonderful as well!! read more
My friend Kevin heard about this place. Dog friendly with burger specials. Also we heard Wednesday was Men's night, so we said...hey's let's check it out. We definitely needed the GPS to get here, since it is in a secluded area away from major streets or highways. We were lucky to be there around 4:30 pm, so we found parking right in front of the restaurant. The inside is a bit small, no large bar area, but a service bar area for the staff to get their drinks. The majority of the tables are out on the open patio/deck area that overlooks the beautiful marina. We got the burger special (which means $5 off any burger on the menu) and some beers. The food came fairly quickly. My burger was average, not full of flavor, but not bad. I got onion rings with it and they were nice and crispy. Around 5pm, a guy started playing music from the pier just outside the dining area, so it was nice to listen to some live music. Maybe because we were there very early, we did not experience the "Men's night".... too bad... LOL. Overall a nice place with a nice view. read more

We came up from Ft Lauderdale and decided to stop in the Nauti Dawg for some lunch, I'm sooo glad we did. The food was phenomenal, the views were great and it was an all around great experience. My salad was delicious, it was so fresh, I ate every single bite. My hunny got a mahi sandwich with no bread, the fish was perfect and the fries were so crispy and tasty. Lots of dock parking was perfect as well. I can't wait to go back again! read more

I've had breakfast/brunch here twice now, and it's been very good both times. I'm not convinced this place makes anything that tastes bad. Service is always on point (that's NJ slang for great). The fries may be the best I've ever had in FL, given they're normally pretty bad down here. If I lived down here I'd come here often. Can't beat the views eating outside. That brunch burger was a delicious, messy, awesome experience. Kinda neat driving in passing all the McManshions. read more
