When at the yard, I told the owner what I was looking for and he drove me to four samples and I loved three of them so it was apparent that he had listened carefully to what I wanted. I also liked picking the edge and corners. (Who knew there were so many choices.) The measurements were taken with a template, not a laser. On the the day of the templates, the crew pointed out a problem which neither the designer nor the construction manager for kitchen renovation had noticed and/or mentioned. We were able to anticipate the solution thanks to Custom Kitchen. And we were sent several pictures that showed how they proposed to lay out the templates on the granite. I suggested that the largest piece be flipped 180 degrees to pick up a "swoop" in the natural flow of the granite. I was sent another set of pictures which matched my very unscientific description, perfectly. The island needed 3 pieces of granite to accommodate the new range. the two pieces on the side are nicely matched and the third piece across the back of the range fits in very well. While the whole of the kitchen renovation turned into an extended nightmare, choosing and installing the granite was easy-peasy.

She was responsive, kind, and consistently took accountability for the many issues that arose. I genuinely feel for her, as she was often put in the difficult position of trying to coordinate between customers, fabricators, and installers while also managing her sales duties. Unfortunately, the structure of the company meant that all communication went through sales, which created delays of hours or even days in getting answers to basic scheduling questions. From there, the problems compounded. We were initially given the wrong installation date which then forced us to cancel and reschedule other contractors. When our countertops were fabricated, the cutout for the range was done incorrectly despite us following all of their instructions. The installers left before I was able to sign off of the install - I assume because it was obvious that the measurements were off - leaving us showing a home for sale with an off-centered range that created a fire hazard with burners located under cabinetry. Precision accepted responsibility for the error, but fixing it created weeks of further disruption, including multiple rounds of re-measuring because of unprofessional technicians, time off work for appointments to remeasure (twice) and remove the old countertops, and additional seams in the countertop that we did not want. Although the company did eventually make the corrections, the process was stressful, cost excessive time off work and potentially decreased the sale price of our home. Throughout this ordeal, I was never offered a discount, refund, or any tangible gesture to recognize the significant inconvenience caused. In the end, Jessica did everything within her power to help us, but the systemic issues at Precision - poor scheduling communication, lack of coordination between departments, and inconsistent professionalism among their technicians - mean that I cannot recommend them with confidence.

I had the kitchen cabinet doors replaced, new granite countertops, new sink & faucet, an island built, new backsplash, and the cabinet & island painted. I am sooooo happy with the outcome. Carmen, in the office, was always professional and polite, and conveyed any message I had to the right people very quickly. Dickson, the main contractor, was a gem. He is very meticulous about getting the details correct. Juan, the painter, was wonderful as well. He made sure all the painted doors were perfectly aligned, and the soft doors closed nicely. Every person who came into my home from G&T was professional, polite, and pleasant to have around. I did use the designer Lowe's uses, but she mainly comes out and shows you the options. I knew what I wanted already, although she was very helpful with getting the granite, which came from Granite & Marble Solutions. They were great also. And the actual stone cutters, which went through G&T were great. I was able to go out with the template provided by Dickson and get the slab cut exactly the way I wanted it to be. I absolutely recommend Grante & Trend Transformations highly and would definitely use them again. This is a national company, but I think each one is owned by different people. This one in Buford is a BBB accredited member and has had zero complaints.

AWESOME Master Bath Remodel…read more This is the second time I've hired this company to upgrade the builder's grade finishes in our condo. In February 2017 the Granite Transformations franchise (then located at Presidential Pkwy) refaced my kitchen cabinets and master bath vanity (Expressions-Stella line). They also replaced the granite vanity top with Calacatta quartz. BEAUTIFUL!!! In July 2018 I decided that it was time to complete the master bath remodel. When I called the same Granite Transformations location I was told that the company was bought out by Silver Oak Remodel and no longer existed. I wasted time letting Silver Oak Remodel present me with an outrageously over priced estimate. They did not get the job. I hired another contractor. However, for the surround of the new under-mounted tub I knew that I wanted to use the same Calacatta quartz that was installed on the vanity. After weeks into the remodel and numerous calls to source the same Calacatta quartz I was happy to learn that a new "Trend Transformations" was in the Atlanta area (same company, same product lines, same quality - new name). That's where Guido Tamayo, the owner of the Braselton Hwy franchise, came into the project. As a co-contractor, he and his team (Design Consultants: Abby and Brent & Installers: Billie and Josue) worked seamlessly and professionally to ensure that the most impactful design element of the bath remodel was expertly installed. Just..WOW!!! Bottom line: I don't often write reviews and definitely don't like writing retractions. My bath remodel was completed in October 2018, so after 6 months of taking it all in, this is my review: I highly recommend Trend Transformations, particularly the Team Guido franchise. Time and money well spent. Lenard McLin

They focus on homeowners and realize that this a big expense for us. A couple of things that bowled me over: - Once we walked in the store with our kitchen layout, the Owner started talking to us about their process. Meanwhile, an associate took our layout, did an estimate of how much granite we need and came back with printed sheet the granite pricing options, in 2 minutes. We knew what we would pay for any granite we selected before we had even looked at the slabs!! (this is huge if you have been granite shopping. what with selecting a granite, and then waiting for the fabricator to price it) - Once our cabinets were installed and the granite template made, i was invited to the store to review the layout before they cut the granite. I was able to see what i would be looking at once the counter was installed. They patiently moved the templates around till i was satisfied (and i am an Architect so it was not a short process). This is unheard of in residential granite industry!!

We met with Norris, who asked a few questions and he began showing options for us to choose from. We selected a Quartz slab for the countertop. When the time came to install the counter top, the Affinity tech came to measure and template for the Vanity and backsplash. The GC cabinet make was on site and assisted with the measurements, but unfortunately communicated an error to the Affinity technician. When it came some to install the countertop, the guys were very professional, on time and completed the install in minimal time. The custom storage towers we were having built were not yet in place, so the backsplash couldn't be installed at the same time. Our GC walked off the job when I refused to continue paying in advance for work not completed properly. It was several months before we had the towers installed and were ready for the backsplash. I called Affinity and explained the situation. They still had the uncut slab for the backsplash. They confirmed information and had someone come and measure, cut and install the same day! After reviewing their website I wish we had hired them for the whole remodel, versus the incompetent shysters we wound up with.
