We were renovating our master bathroom in our new home. We showed Travis a photo of a bathroom…read morevanity we really liked, and they custom replicated it for our master bathroom space. It turned out fantastic!! It's sooo beautiful- exactly what we wanted. Made from real wood, hand finished and custom sized, locally in Gainesville, Georgia! They even added electric outlets inside both bottom cabinets for easy use and storage of electrical appliances. Amazing!! Well worth the expense for the high quality. I'll definitely use them for my next project!

Initial consultation with Gary was good and he seemed like a reliable cabinet maker. He is very…read moreproud of his tenure in the cabinet business. When our cabinets were installed there were several things not up to general standards. The cabinets came with the paint scuffed off in many spots, we had to ask them to come back out to repair. Additionally, they drilled holes to hold wall cabinets in spots that were not hidden and are very visible from a distance. When we asked them to fix this they filled them with caulk assuring us that it would look "perfect". It did not. When they installed the front shaker panel, the inserts were too small for the opening. Instead of creating new inserts so that the opening was equal distance all around (which would have required more material), they removed the front panel and created a new one that was larger on the bottom than the top, creating a front that is not proportional. This became their MO, do the least amount of work and put patches on things instead of making it right. Most concerning Gary installed all of our cabinet drawers with very cheap cabinet slides / hardware. The drawers were very hard to open and the soft close had to be pushed completely to shut. He assured us these were the best of the best. After doing some research with other cabinet makers, we learned these were not the best and a product that most cabinet makers did not use due to negative reviews from owners. We asked Gary to replace them with the slides / hardware we were advised on and he said they were way too expensive. Finally we convinced him to replace them. His crew came out and replaced all but one. They lied to my face when I told them the one didn't seem to be working and they said it was replaced. After a month of following up with Gary he said he wasn't going to replace them and blew us off. Our contractor said Gary had never left his client unsatisfied - consider us unsatisfied! I would avoid this cabinet maker if you can, he clearly is out to cheat his clients and is using bait and switch on materials to get the jobs done and get paid.

Tracy Tesmer Design and Remodeling was a wonderful experience. I am truly thankful I called for…read moretheir services. They are not only professional at what they do but also reliable and dependable. I've had 1/4 of my house remodeled and added an 3 story elevator for my wheelchair access. I'll admit I'm also a perfectionist. I highly recommend TTDR. Each project has been completed to specs, on time and within budget - except where I made additions or last minute changes. There is a reason they are ranked best in the area 13 years in a row. They offered me a very reasonable quote, the end result, exceeded my expectations and will call upon them in the future.

As things were stripped away, it became clear that our home needed a lot more than we expected. Unfortunately, we were left wanting with our initial contractor. I would find myself sitting in a bare bone, skeleton of my family home in tears (very often) because of my frustration and scared that it would never come together the way I envisioned; forever sitting "unfinished" and devastated. In the middle of my mess, I completed an online search for contractors. And shortly after, Tracy Tesmer Design & Remodeling saved my family home and helped us to bring every detail of what we wanted to fruition. Over the course of several months, we watched my family home transform. The professionalism of the project team was amazing! From the design phase to the completion, we were consistently impressed with the hard work, professionalism, and efficiency of the sub-contractors and the implementation of various phases of the remodel managed by our project manager (who always placed our best interest first). The design of the interior palette was easy and not overwhelming as I feared it would be! We knew what we wanted, and the designer made it easy for us to choose our paint, counter tops, and cabinets by narrowing down our choices based on our expressed desire. I truly cannot say enough to convey how impressed, appreciative, grateful, and thankful I am for Tracy Tesmer and his amazing team!
