I live in the area and come here pretty frequently. It is my go to nail salon. It is a standard nail salon but I think the few little perks include the lemon water manicures and pedicure. Also the big couches are cozy and make the experience nice. The most important thing to me is that I always get gel manicures and they generally last me about three weeks. I'm generally never disappointed with my gel manicures. Also, I would highly recommend their massages. If you want a cheap 10 minute massage and you don't want to spend $50 plus for a standard one but want a quick back rub, I would recommend it. read more

Hands down best nail salon I've found for gel nails. I drive 20 minutes to get here since I've moved. Everyone near me is more expensive and they just don't do as good a job. Winnie makes them look completely natural, and gives a mean foot massage. Hate to share her name because she's already busy. But she really is fantastic at what she does. This isn't a luxe salon by any means, but the chairs are comfortable, foot baths lined with plastic of course, tools clean and they have quality polish. Very fair pricing too. read more

Won't come here again. I couldn't catch the lady's name but she was there at 9:30am. She was so rude, even if I said thank you at times she would even acknowledge me. I think it's because I came in to take off my gel and get a regular manicure. The process of taking off the gel was bad too. Not enough time with the alcohol wraps, which makes them scrape your nails even more and damages them more. It wasn't even done good, I still had color left on after. She wasn't very clean either she didn't clean my hands or the working area... that when she massaged my hands I had gel shavings all over them. This is my go-to nail salon. I wish they had more gel colors and maybe more people working there so I wouldn't have to wait as long but normally they are fast and service is good. I normally don't have to wait long to be seen but sometimes they will take someone who has walked in after me and not do my mani and pedi at the same time- I don't love that. The employees can sometimes be not nice, but only a select few. I love the lemons they put in the water and the hot towels they use. It makes me feel like I'm at the spa. The workers here are so rude. I'm sitting there in an almost empty room and I'm waiting 20 minutes for a simple pedicure. There are other workers not even looking at me and are either on their phones or counting money. I asked how much longer and not one worker even looked at me until I asked again. They said another 15 while the place is basically empty. Also, Not even all the workers do nails well. There are maybe 2 out of a bunch of workers that do nails well and the others do them horribly. Horrible!! I have never encountered such rude attitude in my life. I used to go there just for John who is very sweet and expert till he went away for a vacation! I didn't ask that much just for someone to get my nails done! They're refusing to work even when they don't have any customers! Loved this place before & how closely located it is to my apartment but lately I have not been pleased with how RUDE they are!!!! They will very openly and obviously talk about you to each other in another language and make you feel like you are burdening them instead of giving them business. They also act as if there aren't 3 other nail salons on the block that are just as good and treat clients a lot nicer. I came at 5:15 thinking 45 min was more than enough for a pedicure. I asked how long till someone was available and they told me 5-10 min. They have gel color-match so you can do gel on your nails and polish on your toes in the exact same color which I like as well. Everyone is really nice, they're never too busy when I go in. But the manicurist used one of those tools on my feet that scrapes off dead skin - and he took so much off my heels I was bleeding through my socks when I got home. Really not cool. I needed an emergency mani-pedi and decided to stop into Natures Nails. Tracy is wonderful and so is the ambiance, very floral and just like the name states "nature-y". Tracy has a very gentle touch, and they even put lemon in soak water, which I thought was a nice touch. But the reason they couldn't get above 3 stars is my polish chipped same day, even after I waited 5 hours before putting shoes on. I came here 3 days before my birthday for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The initial service was seemingly ok. No foot or hand massage but I didn't say anything. Upon leaving I paid $80 (I tipped each lady $10 and left). 2 days later I went back because on 7 fingers the gel tips had peeled off and my cuticles looked like a startled porcupine because she randomly must have been chopping the skin. I looked at google and their hours on Sunday said 10am. At 10:15am I arrived and spoke with the owner. He said I would have to wait 20min because he didn't have anyone available. I asked for an appointment for later in the day and he said no. I was confused because they were taking walk ins and he said call him at 2pm. I called at 2pm and he said sorry you can't come in until 5pm. I said it's my birthday and 5pm doesn't work for me....it's too late. Then I said you can give me back my money and I can go somewhere else. He said I'm not giving you back the$38 I paid, but he would give me$20 towards a different manicure somewhere else. I responded with what kind service is that. I'm not wasting my gas money to drive 20min. away from my house for half my money back take the $20 and shove it up your ass. No painful cuts or under the nail digging here. I probably would have given this place a solid 4 stars if it wasn't for the woman doing my friend's manicure who would not stop talking. This is the BEST nail salon I have ever been to. I have sent tons of friends and they all LOVE it. First off there is the obvious perk of no awful smell like all other nail salons because they don't do acrylics and don't use chemicals. The seats are the BEST seats ever. They are so comfy and clean and amazing. I can't stand those fake massage chairs that other nail salons have. It is like something is poking your back and it doesn't feel good at all. I would always rather have a comfy chair with lots of room like Nature Nails. They have tons of colors to pick from. (I usually bring my own because I like to buy fun polish and keep it with me) I have used their polish many times and it is always great. The people who work there are really nice. They talk to you and remember their customers. The entire salon is VERY CLEAN, smells great, plays great music, (not annoying love song stations) and the price is perfection. I would not go anywhere else in Southern California. This is the BEST! I am not one who can sit for a long time and they always do my mani/pedi fast. My nails all look great. Even, smooth, perfect. Don't be fooled by this venue's lack of awning signage off of Robertson Blvd. Within the three blocks of shops there must be at least three other nail salons. Natures Nails is truly a gem for the following reasons: - First and foremost, $25 for mani/pedi in the Beverly Hills Adjacent area??? Ridiculous right? Awesome actually... - What differentiates this place from the others is apparent right when you walk in the door - no harsh chemical smell! This is because they don't do acrylic nails. Now this may be a bad thing for those who seek for it, but for me I love it because I never get them anyways. - They will work with YOUR schedule. Meaning that if you call and request a certain time even its before/after normal business hours, they will accommodate. - What really brings me back is the unusually nice beauticians that takes great care of you... in a sincere manner. I was so used to the "talking in another language about you or another client right in front of you to another coworker while smiling at you" type of service. OK... but I do have to mention the only bad/annoying thing about this place. Parking. Because this is on the boulevard, its metered parking only unless you get lucky in the residential area. I typically don't write reviews, but my experience at Natures Nails today deserves to be shared. I went there today with a friend on my lunch break and was told that there would be a 5 minute wait. That is pretty typical at nail salons, so I picked out my gel color and took a seat. I was sitting there for at least 20 minutes chatting with my friend (losing track of time) before someone came over to us. My friend wanted a polish change on her toes in addition to a gel manicure, so they started her first. When she mentioned that I needed my gel polish taken off, they nodded and ignored me. After her toes were finished we asked about the timing since we were on our break and were told another 5 minutes. 10 minutes later, I'm finally given a bowl with acetone to soak off my polish and they proceed to work on my friend's nails. After she was almost done and I'm still soaking my nails, we ask again when someone can work on me and they tell me I need more time to soak- without even checking. At this point, I'm incredibly irritated because others have come in after us and have already been given service. I got up to take a phone call and did not go back in, deciding to wait for my friend to finish outside. After about 5 minutes, two separate nail techs come out and say that if I came back in they could do my nails now- ALMOST AN HOUR LATER. Needless to say I declined. Given the area, I could have gone to any number of other nail salons on the street if they had told me the actual wait time. I also would have left much earlier if I hadn't gone with a friend. $25 for a mani/pedi. The first time I came I was really satisfied with the work. The second time, I thought to myself, I can open a business and knock these breezies out of the water. A few things that cause pause for concern: 1. When clipping my nails, the trimmings seems to be allowed to just fall anywhere, be it the floor, the chairs, or the supply buckets. That's not attractive to a consumer like me. 2. The buckets come to you with a lemon and flower petals, but what does this do for sanitation? Not much I'm sure. 3. My cuticle trim was done deeper and more painfully than many other nail salons. This was a big red flag for me. What kind of training do these people have? 4. During my pedicure, the man received a phone call, answered it, and kept talking for about 5 minutes. Tacky! Inconsiderate. I almost yelled at him. People want to relax and let go when they're being groomed. We don't want you to carry on wildly while receiving services. Duh. 5. My hands smelled like cigarettes after my manicure. That means that my technician did not wash her hands after her cigarette break. That's disgusting. I don't smoke cigarettes. My hands should not smell like cigarettes after you touch me. This means only one thing, the technician does not wash her hands and isn't even cognizant of hygiene standards. 6. During the final stages of my pedicure, the towel was used to dry my feet, then removed and my feet were placed on the ottoman. Again, another red flag for me for hygiene. When was that ottoman last cleaned? The chairs are upholstered, so when was the last time they were cleaned? Not good for infection control either. I suppose you get what you pay for here. After reading the fabulous reviews i tried this place. I went as a walk-in and was asked to wait approx. 10 mins., which was fine. There were only three workers so my wait turned out to be more like 20 mins. I was ushered to my chair and was shocked to see what seemed to be a squabble break out between two of the women when they were determining who was to do my nails. After, the mood in the salon was stifled and very uncomfortable, but I proceeded on with the service. The feeling I got from the salon was that they were very unorganized and definitely took their time, stopping many times to answer the phone, and I think she even went out to her car at one point. All this could have been over looked and I may have given them a second chance, but I wont go back there again because the woman who did my pedicure pulled what was not a hang nail, but merely my toenail too deep. This place started with such hope and promise. I came in here when I parked far off Robertson. My originally intended destination was Contempo but I got lured in by the eco aspect of this nail salon. They seemed to be more modern and cleaner than their neighbors. They also offered the irresistable $25 manipedi. Let's face it, I'm lazy...and stupid. I should have just walked a few yards down to Contempo. It starts with a bowl to soak your finger nails. What is that in the water? Is that potpourri? The girl doing my nails was very sweet but she did a crappy job. She didn't do my cuticles the way I asked her to (I like them pushed as far back as possible and trimmed within an mm of bleeding.) I don't know if it's a language barrier but I was not a happy camper. The pedi guy seemed like he hated his job...or me. He barely scrubbed the rough parts of my feet. I upgraded to the $35 option and it was the worst mistake I ever made- there was no upgrade, just a real sense of discomfort and hatred. Won't be back anytime soon. Tracy took me right away and brought that cute bucket of water with lemon slices and flower petals. She did an amazing mani and pedi that met beyond expectations. This review is way over due. I've been coming here for the past 3 years and they never disappoint. I've tried other nail salons within a 3 block radius from here and this nail salon is by far the best in quality, service, selection of colors, and longevity of the polish. I used to come in for just a regular mani/pedi which is $26 but no I get a gel mani and regular pedi which is about $45 (I think lol- $28 for gel mani). My pedicure usually lasts about a month (with some grow out but no chipping) and I can push my gel manicure between 2-3 weeks depending on how much grow out I have. I've been to other places where the gel chips or peels off at the 2 week mark but here that's usually not the case. I don't have a favorite technician because they are all amazing and do great work. I do recommend that you make an appointment especially if you're trying to get your nails done during peak hours such as the weekends or after work because this place is always packed. No massage chairs but they do offer massages for an additional price. I've never had a problem with cleanliness or customer service. I wanted this place to be good, I really did. I've been going to Contempo for years but they can be inconsistent, so I tried this new place. I brought my husband for a pedicure, and I just wanted a pedicure myself. I wasn't overly impressed with the polish selection, and a lot of the bottles seemed old. I'm not sure they do enough business to keep buying new polishes. The atmosphere is so-so. The chairs are comfy, but they seem impractical. The foot stool you put your feet on during the pedi is microsuede and totally absorbant, meaning it's soaking up everyone's pedi water - ew! I also heard the nail techs discussing/bickering over who was next a few times, which is just unprofessional. My husband paid for the pedicure with the extended massage, and he said the massage itself was pretty lackluster. The nail tech seemed distracted the whole time and kept starting and stopping. Considering that was 90% the point of his pedicure, he wasn't impressed. My pedicure was, in a word, terrible. The guy doing it was nice, but honestly it seemed like his first time ever doing nails. He was really slow and hesistant, and just did a bad job. He cut my nails all uneven, and the polish was a disaster. He obviously put it on way too thick, although I didn't say anything because I figured (wrongly) he knew what he was doing. Half way through the polish application, a younger girl came up and started watching him, then said something sternly to him and he left. What the?! Then she finished the polish application, globbing paint onto my toenails to fix his mistakes. I think the total was $50, which was totally overpriced for 2 crappy pedis. Worse yet, my way-too-thick pedicure started bubbling after about an hour, despite the fact that I wore flip flops and didn't touch them at all as they were drying. The polish was so thick that it never really dried, and even the next day the polish was malleable to the touch and looked totally f-ed up. The only reason they're getting more than 1 star is that I went back the next day, and they re-did my toes for free (although I was still out $3 for tipping the 2nd time since I didn't want to seem like a cheap ass). However, they kind of denied fault - asking if I put on socks right aftey my pedicure. Um, no, I didn't. THEN, they were out of room, so they had a girl re-do my polish as I balanced on a back-less stool in the entrance of the shop and she kneeled on the floor in front of me. Totally awkward and uncomfortable, I couldn't wait to leave. Overall, not impressed. I think they're new and struggling to see what works - but what they're doing now definitely doesn't. I recommend natures nails 100%!! The staff is what makes this place amazing and I will no longer go anywhere else. I went there for the first time tonight, and got a mani and pedi. (which btw, looks amazing)... They have cute wooden style barrels that holds the water for the pedicures with sliced lemon inside. It truly has a coffee shop feel. But what happened after is why I am now a dedicated customer. It was 8:00pm (there closing time) when I left and walked across the street to notice I left my lights on and my car battery was dead. So I had my keys and got my stuff out of my car. Not living too far away, i decided to walk home... upon my arrival home i realized my phone was completely dead... and wait.... where are my keys!?!?!... with out many other options, I walked back to my car. I LOCKED MY KEYS IN MY DEAD CAR! Phone-less, I walked back to the nail salon... Thank goodness tracy was still inside. She greeted me so nicely (even remembered my name) I asked to use her phone to call a locksmith. She was no nice! She put my dead phone on the charger (she has the same phone) ...A nice man called AAA for me, and she waited with me for an hour while AAA got there!! The shop was closed mind you. She is an amazing person and im so thankful for her!! I would have been a carless, keyless, phoneless girl on the street at night with no place to go or anyone to call. Don't go. This place overbooks themselves ridiculously. I came in and had them tell me 5-10 minutes - I waited for 20 minutes and watched as they told the same wait time to at least 5 other patrons. It's a lie to keep you waiting. When I was finally seated, it took another 5 minutes to get someone to come over. Then, the worst part - she spent the entire time looking around and rushing so she could service the next people waiting. My nails were rushed, uneven and poorly shaped - I almost asked her if I could do it myself. She also FILED MY FINGER. She was incredibly rough in her rush and managed to take a couple layers of skin off in her vigor before noticing my "OW!". The polish itself was uneven and didn't reach the edges of my nails. I got a matte topcoat which was also uneven, so there was plain nail polish still showing. Finally she had the audacity to charge me an extra $1 for matte top coat and ask how much I wanted to add in tip. Tip on an 8 minute manicure where you spent the entire time looking up at the door and injuring me? When I was waiting for it to dry they made me give up my chair to someone else they were rushing in and never provided a fan or anything to help dry. I hate to do this, but I'm so displeased with this salon now. I've been going here since they've open, maybe about four years now. However, the service, professionalism, and quality have gone way down hill. I moved to West Hollywood, but was still doing the drive to this location because I always felt they took such great care of me. Slowly over the last six months, it just got worst and worst. First it was the nail clippings in the gel color bin, which I was shocked to find. Especially considering that the owner is such a neat freak and tries to keep everything pristine. Then on several occasions, they skipped over me blatantly because some would walk in who had gel on and they wanted to apply acetone to remove it. I'm someone who values my time and even remove my gel BEFORE I go to the nail place because I want to get in and out. However, I was now waiting longer then those who didn't take the extra time to remove their gel. Every time I go in, it's something new... today I received a gel manicure and I was the only guest there. The technicians were so unprofessional, hardly serviced me and when I questioned the gel that was applied to my nails, the man told me that "I'm silly, and it's just because my nails were short." Sure enough, not even 12 hours later, my gel manicure began to come off. This is at least the 8th chance I've given this place because I used to adore it so much. I came to this location because of the great yelp reviews, I thought I could maybe find a fluke or something, but it turns out it was pretty great! I had a pretty rough time finding the place, but that was my fault. I suggest going on Sunday since the parking is free and it's not to busy. Even though it's in Beverly hills, their prices are pretty amazing with the different packages you can pick from. I chose package number 2 which included a foot scrub, 10 foot rub, Mani and pedi, and other stuff for $35. What really stuck out to me was how gentle they were to my hands and feet. I just move to the area and was looking for a new nail salon. Well luckily this block of Robertson should really be called nail salon row. There's about 5 salons some right next door to each other. That being said, Natures Nails stood out amongst the rest. They are an all natural salon so there are no harsh chemical being used which completely eliminates the typical nail salon stench. The atmosphere is quite serene, no harsh lighting or loud talking between the employees. I hadn't had a pedicure in months so there was a little extra work to be done. The guy put his all into it, by the time he was done with my feet he had definitely broke a sweat. And who can beat the prices, mani pedi for $25, almost unheard of in this area.
