Bacon & Eggs
Benjamin R.

The bacon and eggs were kind of disappointing. The bacon was one strip and the toast was half a slice. Just overall, it was so tiny. The potatoes were also too salty. In addition, the breakfast item was $10 on the menu but it ended up being $13 something, so there is some upcharge somehow. I wouldn't mind coming back here for a drink but I do not recommend the food!

Oat milk latte and a croissant. Just slightly below mid. My biggest qualm is the ambient noise here. Known for being a study spot but it was the opposite of quaint. Sounded like there was a malfunctioning engine drive train in the kitchen experiencing some major turbulence. I'm pretty sure the decibels exceeded 80+ at one point.

Had the iced brewed mocha latte with an espresso shot. The beverage displayed true ingredients and they married well. The associate was very friendly and upbeat. He made our visit very welcoming. The ambiance was of a Seattle coffee shop and the temperature was perfect within the establishment.

Check in for a free cookie! Great table space, Wi-Fi and service. For people that need to study, there are lots of outlets. Our go to study spoy

Snickerdoodle Latte

The Berry Scone was really good, pretty large, so it was enough to last a while. The Snickerdoodle Ice Latte was great, not overly sweet, just enough to give a boost of energy. The menu looks great, lots of good options. The ambiance is great. Huge space and lots of tables to study, hangout, or have a small break. The works bring out the food to you if you dine in. I did have a super negative experience, as if they didn't care that I was there. I waited to look at the menu, then when to the register to order. Waited at least 5 minutes until I was recognized. I ordered my coffee, then asked about the scone. The worker rolled his eyes. After I ordered, he grabbed the pastry, and forced handed it to me like he was in a rush. He then began to service tables. So I understand, he was busy. In-between servicing, the barista made my drink and placed it next to him, no communication. She was just complaining about the customers to the other worker. This entire time, my drink is just waiting on the counter. The barista kept looking at me, saw that I was waiting, but didn't asked me until 12 minutes later. She asked if I was waiting for anything, and I told her that I was waiting for a latte. She said that she didn't get the ticket, and that she'll work on it as soon as she can. 3 minutes later, another worker came out of the restroom, saw my drink on the counter, and called it out. The barista goes, "oh, that's what happened. Oh wells." I want to give this place another try, maybe they are just not having a good day. But my experience overall was a missed.

Egg Sandwich

This spot is the perfect place if you're looking for a spacious, quiet coffee shop to study or relax. The service was super friendly and welcoming. I loved the cozy and warm interior so much. Free WiFi, wide menu options for both food and drinks, and easy street parking. Their pumpkin spiced latte was phenomenal. Their egg sandwich did taste a bit bland but with my taste buds being not too picky, I was fine with it.

Meat doesn't even cover all the bread

The atmosphere of this place is nice and the servers were nice. What this place gets 3 stars for is the pathetic serving of turkey on the $13 torched turkey sandwich. Attached are two photos to show the turkey doesn't even cover the bread and the bread was thicker than the turkey provided. Add to that, one person in our party didn't get their omelette until after the other seven people were finished eating.

The Pulled Pork Sweet Potatoes are so good, the employees vernice and friendlyand Good music. I will be back for sure.

Love this gem! So cute and cozy with plenty of seating and efficient service. I tried the lavender latte- they nailed it! The almond croissant was yummy as well. Came here for a casual hang but would definitely come back for a caffeinated work session as well!

Pros: Phenomenal food. The chef/cooks go way too hard for being a small coffee shop. All the sandwiches and meals are really good. Great baristas too. Just courteous, normal, hard working individuals that can make you a mean latte. Cons: The location and vibe is a little dark and dingy, but not holding it against them as the building they're in looks to be 100+ years old. However, they have outside seating. Parking can occasionally get annoying, but not hard to find an open spot. They seem to be cool with dogs BUT don't push it. I have a large german shepherd and they're OK with me coming inside to order but I usually sit outside with him because he's too big and restless indoor. Smaller or medium sized dogs (that aren't yappers) I'm sure are welcome.

Our waiter was personable and took our order quickly as well as consistently replenished our drinking water. Everything was delicious and had its own unique flavor, from the chickpea fritters which had softness and crunchiness, the goat mousse with sweet and savory sauces and the crumpets and crackers; then the goat belly with a deliciously crisp skin and soft inside and intense flavor (but not gamey) with a rich sauce, the steak was yummy and precut, and the pork shank which was epic! I loved all the greens and pita to wrap the pork and goodies into! We ended with a bday scoop of mango sticky ice cream which was completely different than I've had before and yummy.

With things like goat curry and gluten free options, you gotta have rice. Second, they ran out of goat curry. I came all the way from San Diego to try it. Oh well. Excuse to come back. I loved every bite I tried. There was nothing that disappointed. The standouts were the green beans, the Brussels sprouts that came with the chicken, the pork shank and the tuna and crunchy quinoa salad. I'm still thinking of that crunchy quinoa. We had no room for dessert. So maybe next time we try the goat curry, get the quinoa salad again and get dessert! The service was great too. Attentive but not overbearing. It's a cute restaurant both inside and outside.

My wife and I stopped here a few weekends back for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised with just how much I enjoyed the food. The ambiance here is pretty generic, white and bright and very copy and paste of a lot of places popping up recently. The staff was super friendly while taking our orders and dropping the food off, which is always appreciated. I ended up ordering the Santo's Turkey Melt which is smoked turkey, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli served on sourdough with a side of french fries. The sandwich was really good and the same can be said for the french fries and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fries given, so thumbs up to that. I forgot what the food costs so I visited the website and for some reason they don't think it's important to put that online, which is pretty darn stupid if you ask me. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience at Sandcouch Cafe and I would visit again in the future thanks to it's convenient location. The food was solid and the staff was friendly, and that's really all I need when ordering a sandwich.
