Their vegetarian menu is what really drove us to Natura! It's difficult to find vegetarian food in Mexico so we were really excited for this place. The food did not disappoint, I ordered the vegetarian enchiladas and the hubby ordered an omelet. Both were very tasty, flavorful and quite large dishes. On the flip side, the service was complete garbage. It took at least 5 minutes for any staff to acknowledge us even though they were running around to other tables... the place wasn't even half full. Actually they did not even acknowledge us, we had to force their attention. Throughout the time we were there the service was very slow and unnecessary. Especially for a place that was more than half empty. We watched a lady who literally walked right out after what seemed like she was sitting around for a long time. Good great. Service shit. Located south of the main part of the Hotel Zone, this is an essentially a Mexican restaurant with American menu options as well. They have omelettes, salads, smoothies, bagels, and pasta. The menu obviously caters to all of their tourist customers - there is even a hostel located upstairs. We randomly chose this place while on a walk. Food was decent and cheaper because of its out of the way location. They put an emphasis on having vegetarian options, but there are actually not many. It is basically the regular food named above with no meat in it, plus a few offerings like a soy burger and hummus. With their outdoor seating area and their hip forest looking decor, this is still an inviting place to have lunch or brunch. read more

The vegan menu looked good and I had heard the food was good, although sometimes it took a while. the servers were really nice but my food was awful. Perhaps it was just what I ordered. I got vegetarian Chilaquiles, which the menu said would come with fresh avocado, onion, and tomato. I got a plate of chips with beans and eggs, all covered in a green sauce that wasn't good. We were staying at a non all inclusive resort (lol) and were searching for good breakfast options around Cancun. Natura had good ratings and a good range in their food options and we decided to give this a try. We ordered some juices and shakes along with Mexican and English breakfast (with a fruit plate as well - traveling with parents - lol). The food is made fresh, reasonable, and great! I can't pick any downsides in the dining experience except maybe lack of English speaking servers. The place has Wifi and decent washrooms to freshen up. There was just one server running around with everyone's orders. Came here for breakfast on a Sunday, lots of seating both indoors and out. We had the nopal fajitas which is cactus with tortilla and a motulenos which is fried eggs over a fried tortilla. Came here for breakfast, food is good, but nothing spectacular. There are better joints out there. The spot is clean, quick service, juices are fresh, and the arrachera is juicy. Whenever I come to Mexico, I must must must have jugo verde (green juice). Every place has a slightly different variation but it typically consists of parsley, pineapple, and spinach, with a couple of other ingredients. I found this location on Yelp and suggested coming here for breakfast. The restaurant is so adorable as it's decorated like a jungle with indoor trees and hanging vines. I loved it! We were seated immediately and looked through the menu. I was craving an American breakfast so I ordered their green juice with some pancakes covered in fruit. My mom did the same but with their carrot and beet juice. My boyfriend had an omelette with fresh orange juice and my step-dad tried their coffee. Our pancakes were perfectly cooked and the fresh fruit was delicious. I loved my green juice and my mom and boyfriend definitely enjoyed their juices as well. Service and pricing are great. Natura is a fun little restaurant in the Hotel Zone. Since it's in the Hotel Zone, it's a little more expensive than downtown, but well priced for the area. This is definitely a restaurant that you notice while passing. Not flashy like so many of the Americanized restaurants in the area, but looks like a small rainforest. We were drawn to it immediately! As you walk in there are all kinds of beautiful scenes painted on the walls. There are even a few tables meant to bring in a lot of character, one was a desk with books and little lights. The food is delicious! They have numerous and well-rounded vegetarian and vegan options. We ordered the Chilaquilles Veggies and the vegan ceviche. The Chilaquilles was our favorite. The beans had so much flavor and went perfectly with the seasoned tofu. The sauce was slightly spicy and the chips crunchy and brought the dish together. I would definitely order this again. The vegan ceviche was made out of mushrooms and tasted just like the real thing. This is a massive dish though so plan to share. Our server on this occasion did not pay much attention to us, but the other servers seemed to be working hard. They were all friendly and polite, only some spoke English. I would always recommend venturing out of the Hotel Zone, but this is a great little restaurant on the main road. Go check it out! read more

I recommend Le Natura. Le Natura is a favorite among nearby workers, European and Asian tourists, but not given much attention by the Americans on the strip. We've now been here for dinner, breakfast and late evening cerveza (Negra Modelo served in ice cold mugs). When we came here for dinner I tried a michelada. JP loves this drink, but I found this concoction (beer with spices added) pungent, with heavy clove and cinnamon flavors. At dinner, for a starter, JP had the shrimp and whitefish ceviche, which was very good. I had two appetizers: cheese quesadillas and bean soup. The quesadillas were good, if a little dry. The puréed bean soup, topped with tortilla strip chips and queso fresco was excellent. For my entree, I had white fish and this was the best fish I have ever had! No kidding! They prepared the fish with olive oil and butter then dredged the fish through finely crumbled pecans. Divine! JP had a very decent deli turkey torta (sandwich) that had lettuce, tomato and onion. For dessert, I had a delightfly moist and dense tres leches cake topped with peaches and a delicious whipped cream/butter frosting.With dessert I had an extremely good coffee. An aside about coffee: maybe because most Mexicans drink coffee, a lot of attention is paid to the roasting and brewing of coffee in this country. Every time I've drinken coffee on this trip, the coffee has been better than coffee up north in the land of Stumptown and Starbucks. read more

Natura has quickly become my go to place while visiting Cancun! The restaurant has such a cool naturistic ambiance and all the staff is very welcoming and attentive. They serve breakfast-lunch-dinner and have soo many vegetarian options! Their juices are a-ma-zing. The strawberry, banana, and papaya is super refreshing (I downed it in literally 2 minutes). My boyfriend got the guava, pineapple, and orange juice and he absolutely loved it. We have since been ordering juices with every single one of our meals. In terms of food, everything I have ordered has been great. You cannot go wrong with the hot cakes, enchiladas, chile verde chilaquiles, and the soy hamburger! My one and only suggestion would be that I wish they offered varied options for milk for espresso drinks; such as almond, coconut, soy, etc. read more

What a cute rainforest viby cafe with such fresh and delicious food - makes you feel like you are eating homemade food in a lush green veranda. We came here after a night of partying so were in need of some serious hydration. We ordered guava smoothies and coffee and placed our individual order of eggs to soak up last night's damage (mexican omelette for moi). The guava smoothie was absolutely delicious and just what we needed. The coffee was also nice. My entree of mexican omelette (eggs chile and onions) served with bread and beans was perfect for the ocassion. We all had juices: orange, apple and strawberry banana... They were all very fresh. The apple juice was more of a smoothie than a juice though. Probably the best restaurant in Zona hotelera in my honest opinion. Discovered this little gem thanks to Yelp and now its become an indispensable part of the Cancun experience. It feels more like a cafe than an actual restaurant but they do have an extensive menu. Located within the layout of the Natura hostel, this spot attracts all kinds from backpackers to families. They have 5-6 tables outdoors for those who want to enjoy the sunshine and about twice that amount inside for those who want some respite from the sun. The food menu is extensive with a plethora of vegetarian options to boot. I've been here for breakfast, brunch and lunch and the place has impressed each time. The various egg preparations are simply outstanding! For anyone who likes croissants, the mananero is a must and the molletes are to die for. Guacamole is on point and the tortilla chips served with it are always freshly fried and piping hot! As if the food wasn't reason enough to go here, even their drinks are stellar. The margaritas are all made with fresh fruit and two of those are enough to put you on your backside for the rest of the day. Same goes for the pina coladas. The staff is warm, friendly and welcoming and most of them speak English. Bottom line, if you don't visit Natura at least once, you're missing out on one of the best culinary experiences in the hotel zone and I'd even say in Cancun. Five stars all the way! P.S.
