Mango cafe from across the street. Sorry I don't have a closer picture.

Continues to be our favorite breakfast place. Tried other places, but Mango is the best. They are consistent with great service, delicious food and a good variety of dishes. I hope they never change.

The food was fantastic and the ambiance was great. You have to try the coconut French toast, but everything was fantastic.

Amazing experience!! We were in Isla Mujeres for 7 days and ate here every morning. The food is absolutely delicious! I think between the four of us we tried almost everything on the menu and we were never disappointed. The staff was wonderful and so attentive. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely a must-visit in Isla Mujeres! We stayed down the street from the mango cafe and ate there all 8 mornings! We tried just about everything on the menu and it was all amazing. The fresh watermelon and mango juices were also a favorite. The staff was incredible!

Food was like home cooking. The service is quick and it is always busy. The ambiance is festive and beautiful. Get a table up stairs to listen to live music while you dine.

A local woman (ex Pat from Kansas City) told us about this spot. The prices are fantastic $95 pesos for a margarita vs 2 other spots we went to where they were $190 & $200 A group of six of us had, the empanadas, jerk chicken tacos, quesadilla, fish tacos, steak burrito and chips with guacamole with pico de gallo. We had about 8 drinks as well & the total was around $110. The food was absolutely FANTASTIC. You will not be disappointed! They also had a bunch of fans going which made the temperature really nice. Note: They are only open until 3pm.

Wow this place was amazing! The rooftop is nice and love the natural lighting. This place takes US dollars, pesos, and credit card. I wasn't expecting much for brunch but it blew me awayyyyyy. The matcha latte is a bit milky but still very good, I loved the ginger lemonade so freshing and their hibiscus tea wow so flavorful. Now for food, our favorite hands down was the fish tacos, thin light AIRY and SO CRISPY!! the sauce with mango nom nom nom The egg Benedict on crossiant was also really good and so flavorful, egg was perfect runny inside but not wet runny. There's mushroom and spinach in it too so perfect balance. Now the French toast, wow, it's not the us still French toast a bit thinner but amazing with their toasted almonds, immaculate 100% sooo good and will come back when I visit again

We stumbled upon this cafe as we were driving around. I didn't bookmark any spots to eats since I was concentrating on spots that had poolside bars. But after passing by and then reversing and the nice gentlemen pushing another golf cart over to make room for us, I was sold. I guess we came at a good time cuz there was no wait. I did notice a sign in sheet by the door, so lucky us. Everything is made fresh, kinda bummed they ran out of mangoes for their mango juice. But the watermelon juice was super fresh and sweet. I got the stuffed poblano pepper which was kind of dry. I think the pepper needed a sauce over it. My bf got the breakfast enchiladas. I don't think the coleslaw went with the dish. My daughter got the red chilaquiles and this dish was DELICIOUS. That creamy red sauce is the bees knees. I kept asking her if she was done lol. If there is one thing you must get here it's the red chilaquiles!!!

Took a golf cart to get here before going to Playa Norte. It was lunch time and we got: chicken quesadilla, steak burrito and fish tacos, food was superb. We had also gotten fresh OJ and dessert was to die for, I think it was called banana flambey. We paid with USD which the exchange rate wasn't bad, like $1usd=$18pesos. I'd recommend it and would want to go back. Service was excellent. Food was great. Place was clean. They do have bathrooms.

Wow! This place is worth the wait! Amazing food - spicy, fresh, crispy and delicious. Great drink selection. Live entertainment during busy hours. Self-serve coffee. Watermelon mimosa was refreshing and tasted like a jolly rancher. Service can be a bit slow compared to typical American expectations, but honestly, it's just a different culture and way of life and I don't think we can factor that in a review. This will definitely be a place I return to on future visits! If you have to wait, walk up the hill and check out the view from the church. So beautiful.

She was walking us a little towards the back, but since it was my first time to Isla, I wanted to people-watch, so I asked about a table up front. As soon as we headed over, I saw why she passed it - it was right next to the saxophone player! Thank goodness his volume level was perfect! Just loud enough to be heard over the crowds walking down the 'lane' out front and the restaurant diners' chatting. But not so loud that we 3 couldn't chat. We loved it! Now these two can EAT - and love to try everything on the menu, whereas I tend to eat smaller portions. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were fantastic - huge pieces of shrimp, so good! The lobster mac n cheese is so good, I would have loved to bring a big container of it home with me! The restaurant is very busy but very clean and tables are well organized for maneuvering a quick trip to the restroom before leaving. Our server, Maylen was attentive and pleasant. The bar area, facing the street, looked like a lot of fun, I'll have to try it next time!

Felipe is a great chef, and his wife Margarete a very good pastry chef. And they are both very pleasant people. Dinner can be eaten on the patio overlooking the water. I believe they offer seating right on the sand during the busy season--I'd recommend reaching out to the restaurant to confirm. That said, they were happy to rearrange a couple of tables for us to give us a better view, which was so thoughtful! Felipe and Margarita were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the fact that they speak English was a huge plus for me since my Spanish is limited. The Spanish Sangria was refreshing and a delightful change from what I'm used to--highly recommend it! We started with the Mixed Ceviche (Fish & Shrimp), which featured fresh pear slices--a pleasant surprise that took it to the next level. I almost didn't want to share it! The guys had the Beef Tenderloin, served with a to-die-for mushroom gravy and cooked to perfection. The Brisket was a surprising standout--possibly the best I've ever had! Both dishes came with fresh veggies and mashed potatoes, all expertly prepared. We ended the evening with their homemade Banana Cake and an Ice Cream Boat--the perfect sweet finish to a fantastic meal. Reasonably priced and such a wonderful experience. We will definitely return on our next trip to the island. Highly recommend!

Turns out it was mixed in the acai (i think?) never heard if that. It definitely didnt taste like any of those fruits. But worst: the acai itself was icy/choppy and bad.. i didnt even finish it But the latte.. i asked the waiter less milk. He brought it full milk.. but it wasnt even espresso! It was SO bad i could not have more than two sips. I should have returned it but its not my style. Ugh. And the waiter wasnt even nice.
