This place is great. They have a wonderful brunch and great coffees and drinks. The people are wonderful and the service is always fast and great. Highly recommend. The restaurant is fairly quiet and relaxed.

So good! My Italian soda was excellent. The turkey sandwich with cream cheese and cranberry jam on ciabatta was so delicious! The Rooster Salad was so good with seasonal fruit, carmelized pecans and their house dressing which is a poppy seed dressing. The staff was attentive. They have English menus as well. The portions were completely filling. Would definitely come back again! Oh and there is air conditioning!

Food was great! Took about 35 minutes to bring out 2 breakfast dishes. The server couldn't have been kinder about it, but the long wait time was off putting. Food was excellent and coffee was as well.

Great service. Pretty good food. In the center of town. Chorizo was the bomb. We sat outside under an umbrella.

This morning I stopped in for breakfast. I was told do use the QR code and I requested a paper copy for my guest because she prefers it that way. I then ordered her a coffee and me a chai latte with coconut milk. She arrived and we ordered our food. She ordered banana bread and an orange juice and I ordered. Well I started to order the traditional eggs Benedict. He asked me what type of protein I wanted I asked him if the Italian sausage was real sausage. He said no. In Mexico that means you're getting hotdogs. I have no idea why they called sausages hotdogs down here. So I said well in that case I would like the veggie Benedict but can you just put the traditional hollandaise sauce instead of the spinach hollandaise on top of it he said yes and then asked me if I like avocado and I said yes and he walked away. I was a little confused but didn't think about it again I honestly thought maybe he was gonna put some avocado on it. He didn't say would you like the traditional with just avocado on it. He made an assumption and I didn't stop him. When my food arrived it had hollandaise sauce on it that looked very clumpy and thick. A little bit broken. When I looked under my eggs there was a tomato. The potatoes had a little bit of avocado on it. Now this was very confusing to me because the veggie Benedict comes with spinach feta and tomato. Not sure how I ended up with a traditional with tomato and avocado on the side. So it took us about two minutes to flag him down and he realized that he did not bring her the banana bread. So then he was gone for about two minutes and showed up with the banana bread. I told him I was a little confused as to what this was since I ordered the veggie Benedict without the spinach hollandaise sauce. He then grab my plate and said let me fix it out. And then it still was confusing because I was like I just want the veggie Benedict he kept saying it doesn't come with feta and spinach. So I reach to grab the plate and I said you know I'm not gonna argue with you about this I'll just eat my breakfast. He then wouldn't let go of the plate and pulled it back. I reached and grabbed it with two hands and I still had to pull it out of his hands to eat it. Very uncomfortable. I'm not gonna allow a kitchen staff to take my food away when they're irritated with me. That's just a bad idea. So I proceeded to eat my cold food. It was bland and boring and like I said the sauce was terrible. It was thick no salt and broken. The poached eggs were completely running inside and I had to basically take half of each egg and put it to the side because it was runny yolk running everywhere. The manager comes over and starts to tell me that I basically ordered my food wrong and I said sir let me explain exactly what happened. And I told him the story I just told you he looked at me like I was being rude also. It's not my fault that the waiter didn't take my order properly nor clarified. I never said I wanted a tomato on the traditional with avocado on the side like I'm so confused how I became the bad guy in today's breakfast. Overall it was a terrible experience the owner then says after I explain he says can I bring you some tomato and feta. And I said yes that's what I ordered. I will never return to this restaurant. It's over priced and for the staff to make me feel like I did something wrong today they will never get my business again. I then noticed that the milk inside of my chai latte with coconut milk was definitely regular milk there was way too much foam and I started my nose started running immediately. By the way look at the cup they gave me that's cracked on the inside. They need to get new management or at least staff that cares to make sure people's orders are correct. I didn't take a picture today. This fruit bowl with granola with from one of my previous face and I loved it a loved it a lot for the record.

We only had coffee and pastries. Both were delicious. The Resturant was clean and a good vibe. The service was great and fluent in English and Spanish. We had a cinnamon roll which was very good and orange bread. Mocha frappe was rich with good coffee flavor

Decent cafe with lots of options. The food is pretty good but not spectacular. The service was great, the server accommodated our request to get the sauce on the side. I do like that there are many vegetarian options too. I got the veggie benedict. It was tasty. My friend was especially happy to get her coffee frappe with almond milk.

This was our 25th time since 2009 that we've dined here. - We ALL can't wait to go back! - I highly recommend the Rooster Cafe while in Isla Mujeres, Mexico - the food is delicious & the service is always a blast! All the waiters & management gives us the best experience. Truly the best brunch on the island! Love their mimosas, bloody marys, coffee, everything!!!!!! The bill is never high hence why we go back so much. Very reasonable.

    Benedict w/mole!

The food at Rooster is amazing! We live the cute ambiance with both inside and outside seating. It is small seating inside so not large group friendly. They have a drink pickup station outside so if you're not interested in food you can go straight there. We lived this place so much we ate here twice but this was our go to spot for good coffee, tea, and some delicious pastries.

Fantastic food & you get a great deal for the money. Drinks were excellent too. One of our new favorite places to go.

Mediocre overpriced food. Too many other good options nearby. The "hot sauce" I requested was Tabasco sauce.

I made the mistake of eating too many of the chips and not having enough room for my tacos. The coconut shrimp was just okay. Very tiny shrimp. As soon as we got there I could tell the employees or maybe even the owner started counting up how many women are party and started to shuffling the tables around to accommodate us. This was definitely one of the highlights in terms of The food that we had. Everyone was happy with their dreams and their food We got the mixed grill which served for adults. The shrimp, the lobster, the steak, the chorizo all of it was a good mix. There was a lot of vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower as well as a salad. Someone else in our party got the enchiladas and a burrito and they're very particular about their Mexican food and they both said it was the best meal of the Trip. The only item I wouldn't order and not because it's bad just because it wasn't as good was the carbonara. I ordered it to split between the children and they actually loved it but if I were an Italian I would probably be left wanting.
