Ruben's - The platter with everything you could ever need and everything was the most delicious version of that thing I have ever had. Fed 4 adult men

I heard lots of good things about Reuben's. So we definitely wanted to check it out for ourselves…read more It's on the southern part of the island and we had rented a golf cart to go from the north to the South to check it out. This restaurant definitely had I more local vibe compared to some of the tourist places up north. As soon as we got there I could tell the employees or maybe even the owner started counting up how many women are party and started to shuffling the tables around to accommodate us. This was definitely one of the highlights in terms of The food that we had. Everyone was happy with their dreams and their food We got the mixed grill which served for adults. The shrimp, the lobster, the steak, the chorizo all of it was a good mix. There was a lot of vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower as well as a salad. Someone else in our party got the enchiladas and a burrito and they're very particular about their Mexican food and they both said it was the best meal of the Trip. The only item I wouldn't order and not because it's bad just because it wasn't as good was the carbonara. I ordered it to split between the children and they actually loved it but if I were an Italian I would probably be left wanting.

Came here around 7pm because it was very close to where I was staying and I read they had wifi and…read morecoffee. I sat down to do school work on my laptop and used their free wifi. I ordered a latte and it was just ok, nothing special. They had a fan going but I still had sweat dripping down my sides. My waitress was lovely. I ordered steak and lobster. The potatoes and vegetables that came with the meal were really good. The lobster was good, maybe a little overcooked, but I wasnt a fan of the steak. There was only one other guest besides me and we actually talked the entire time, so I didnt get much school work done, but it was nice either way.

An Isla Mujeres vegan favorite of mine is Chaya and Cacao. To say I'm obsessed is an…read moreunderstatement. I went here more times than I can count during my two-week stay. This cutie locally food-focused restaurant sits on the north end of the island. The breeze in the back feels fresh and clean. You order first and then find a spot to make yourself comfortable. When traveling it can be hard to find a meal that truly feels refreshing and grounding, but Chaya and Cacao offers just that. Our digestion was in need of some TLC and we were grateful to see local kombucha and fermented foods on the menu. The apple and coffee kombucha is so refreshing and crisp. The iced matcha latte and iced sweet chai are also high on our list. The falafel bowl is balanced well leaving you feeling satisfied, but not heavy. We love the Caribbean bowl which has sweet plantains, rice, beans, mango, fibrous greens, sweet mango, and grounding potatoes. The avocado toast was the best I have ever had with various well-matched flavors working in perfect harmony. Summer rolls are fresh with a crunch that. feels hydrating on a hot island day. Overall this Isla Mujeres vegan find gets a 10/10 from me. The foods feel wholesome and nourishing! Not to mention extremely delicious. The staff is super friendly and inviting which helps the energetic overall feel

We decided to take a short walk into the town and came upon the Rooster To Go. This place is decorated so cutely! We got a pineapple smoothie and a vanilla latte. We were both very happy with our choices and the prices. They give you a password for their Wi-Fi which was awesome compared to our resort so we could send out some texts and pictures from our trip thus far. They also have a little garden area seating in the back. I walked out there to look around and even had an iguana run past me. It startled me a bit, but was pretty cool. They also have bathrooms open to customers. This was awesome because finding a bathroom around the island can be a little tricky. Overall this place was awesome and my friend and I ended up coming back the next day for some more drinks. The pastries and cookies looked awesome but we didn't end up trying them.
