Came here for Super Bowl Sunday and it was the perfect place to catch the game, have great food and craft cocktails. Our server was great and very helpful with suggestions. Lobster and fish tacos - yummy! The drink presentation was top notch, and the people watching was very entertaining. We returned another night for drinks. It's safe to say we are now big Mezcal fans because of this place!

Came by 3:45 happy hour with pina colada, margaritas, daiquiris, mojitos buy one get one free. Ended up order a few. Started with ceviche mezcal, light and fresh seasoning and fresh shrimp and octopus Mango, red onion, cucumber cilantro. Simple and refreshing. Pina colada were served with dried pineapple and cinnamon stick burned at table. Daniel is a good server and checking on us regularly. Then came Chile Santolo Carnes, carnitas estilo mi, and tacos Baja pescado. And finally the pescado sarandeado 560 gr ($.85 per gr. ) prepared Tikin xic style. I enjoyed that dish since I grew up eating bony fish The rice is good. The pork is dry, need to dip into the fatty sauce. Good Baja fish taco. Very nice deco and cool setting. Relax atmosphere to eat here with plenty of ceiling fan cooling you down. FYI, Costco bottle water is $55 each. The damage is above average

This place is great! The Molcajete was filled with everything (steak, chicken, cheese, nopales) and it was delicious! All of their margaritas were really, really tasty and they were B1G1 free. The service was great. This place is super cute with swings at the bar.

Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, really made you feel at home. We started off with the calamari, the breading was a bit strange, not the usual crispy texture; got really soggy when we squeezed a slice of lime on it. My fiancé got the tacos al pastor, they were great the bits of pineape were refreshing. I got the tacos arracherra and I really enjoyed them they had a layer of mozzarella cheese which added extra flavor. For drinks we got the Margarita de Jamaica and the margarita de pepino, definitely go with the Jamaica one especially if you lean towards fruity and sweet drinks. Ambiance was amazing, they brought out a dessert as we were celebrating our little girls first birthday and everyone joined in and sang happy birthday.

Outdoor dining on a nice patio. Music was going with live band. Drinks were on point. Had the margaritas. Chips and 3 types of salsa! I had the green enchiladas have tasty and fulfilling. Mom had the burger also delicious! Service was fast. Seating is good! Very pricey for the area!

Fun, delicious spot in the downtown area! Right on the Main Street where all the bars and restaurants are. We sat on one of the tables outside so we could people watch. The servers were a lot of fun and gave great recommendations. Food was delicious and would highly recommend. Great place to grab food before hitting the other bars in the area GRILLED OCTOPUS - large dish, perfect for sharing. The octopus was so tender, it was cooked perfectly. Under the octopus was cheesy risotto, also delicious. XANTOLO CHILI RELLENO - breaded Poblano Chile pepper filled with beef, veggies, and smothered in tomato sauce. I've never had this dish before but it was delicious! It was such a well balanced dish, and surprisingly not a heavy dish.

Everything about my experience was wonderful. There was live music the food was cooked to perfection and had lots of flavor. The presentation of the food was creative and fun. Fun fact... they have bottled water from Costco which was a nice surprise as most of the bottled water on the island is mediocre. We were served by the most amazing person, Martha. We made reservations for the next night before even paying for the first nights meal. This is a must try when in isla!

Place was beautiful. Service 10/10. Very very very expensive. Got 4 water bottles for around $20. Food was okay. Had the al pastor, baja taco, ribeye tacos, the calamari grilled octopus. The rib eye tacos were the best thing there. Also highly recommend the pina colada.

We are drink people. If you haven't noticed, it is SO HARD to find real cocktails and artisanal beer in Mexico. Dare I say impossible. We chose this place because on the menu we saw some cocktail ingredients that we hadn't seen at other places and we were hopeful. We were not disappointed!! Martha and Ivonne made us the most perfect smoked old fashioned and manhattan. Finally. Then, to add the frosting on the cake, the food was pretty damn amazing too. Needless to say, we returned the next day.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming restaurant in Islas Mujeres, Mexico that truly stood out for its craft cocktails made with real juice. The vibrant flavors and freshness of the cocktails were absolutely delightful and enhanced the overall dining experience. Each sip was a burst of natural goodness, showcasing the skill and dedication of the mixologists. From classic favorites to unique concoctions, the restaurant offered a wide variety of options to suit every palate. The attention to detail and use of real juice truly elevated the cocktails to a whole new level, making it a must-visit spot for cocktail enthusiasts and those seeking a refreshing and authentic drinking experience. This place has instagrammable swings at the bar. And the staff is fantastic. The tacos are also banging! It's an eight minute walk from the ferry drop off point.

Grilled octopus, 335 pesos, worth every effing penny. My favorite meal on Isla Mujeres.

This is my favorite fancy restaurant on island (I only stay on the north side). We love the swings at the bar. Dark ambiance and more intimate. You can order the full menu there as well. Service is cordial. The fajita is just ok but the aguachile (raw shrimp dish) and grilled octopus here are AMAZING. If you eat dinner at one restaurant on the main strip, eat here. I hear the drinks are good here but have yet to try. The maracuya (passion fruit) mezcalritas have caught my eye. The Taco Tuesday deal gets you a free margarita (except the passion fruit ones) and a beer with a taco order, and the happy hour deal on other days of the week gets you BOGO margarita deal. Cash only.

Cucumber margarita!

Absolutely everything was perfect! Ronny was an excellent server! This place has decent prices and has an amazing atmosphere! So impressed. Loved having a saxophone player wandering around. The happy hour drinks were spectacular. I had the stuffed chicken with poblano and cheese! Yum!! The grapefruit margarita was top notch. They even lit the rosemary on fire for an amazing aroma to start off. :)

Lobster Tacos
Jenny R.

Came here because it was highly recommended on TripAdvisor and they had the meal I was looking for. We had the guac and the cheese fondu for appetizer. Then I ordered the lobster tacos. My husband had the grilled octopus. He said it was delicious. It was salsa night so they had a live band. I also had 2 very delicious drinks which I can't remember the name. It is on their drink specialty menu. It was the first and last drink. Our waiter was Adolfo. He was very attentive. The loss of the star is that they charge $5 to pay by card. If you pay by cash their conversion rate is lower than the bank.

It was my birthday

She was walking us a little towards the back, but since it was my first time to Isla, I wanted to people-watch, so I asked about a table up front. As soon as we headed over, I saw why she passed it - it was right next to the saxophone player! Thank goodness his volume level was perfect! Just loud enough to be heard over the crowds walking down the 'lane' out front and the restaurant diners' chatting. But not so loud that we 3 couldn't chat. We loved it! Now these two can EAT - and love to try everything on the menu, whereas I tend to eat smaller portions. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were fantastic - huge pieces of shrimp, so good! The lobster mac n cheese is so good, I would have loved to bring a big container of it home with me! The restaurant is very busy but very clean and tables are well organized for maneuvering a quick trip to the restroom before leaving. Our server, Maylen was attentive and pleasant. The bar area, facing the street, looked like a lot of fun, I'll have to try it next time!

Pro tip with all tacos: you gotta eat it fast or else the tortilla collapses in your hand. They had these amazing chips to go with not your usual salsa but a ketchup/mayo combo and a very very spicy chili crisp. I made the mistake of eating too many of the chips and not having enough room for my tacos. The coconut shrimp was just okay. Very tiny shrimp. My husband raved about the lime soup here for the rest of the trip; I can confirm that it was excellent. Fun casual atmosphere - our food came out pretty fast, even with all of the tables filled. Bonus points for playing music videos of 2010s pop hits on the tv by our table.

This restaurant definitely had I more local vibe compared to some of the tourist places up north. As soon as we got there I could tell the employees or maybe even the owner started counting up how many women are party and started to shuffling the tables around to accommodate us. This was definitely one of the highlights in terms of The food that we had. Everyone was happy with their dreams and their food We got the mixed grill which served for adults. The shrimp, the lobster, the steak, the chorizo all of it was a good mix. There was a lot of vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower as well as a salad. Someone else in our party got the enchiladas and a burrito and they're very particular about their Mexican food and they both said it was the best meal of the Trip. The only item I wouldn't order and not because it's bad just because it wasn't as good was the carbonara. I ordered it to split between the children and they actually loved it but if I were an Italian I would probably be left wanting.

Like many, we don't like to hit up places on vacation more than once but we ended going to this…read moreplace three times!!!! Here are the top three reasons why you should go here multiple times. 1)The food. All homemade and perfectly portioned. The guacamole and cheesy dish was the best appetizer I've ever had. I was pretty full with just that. Even the chips are homemade. For dinner we ate tacos and a quesadilla, both solid and eaten quickly. Earlier we got an omelette and it was perfect with plenty of sides. 2)Price. We two appetizers, two entrees and drinks and it cost about 300 pesos. That's 15 bucks for us Americanos. If you walked about ten steps across the street, you would pay for the same food at about triple that price. 2)People. So this place does not have fancy music, TVs or even nice chairs. It's simple, clean and family run. They were always super nice and quiet, never pushing anything but still attentive to our needs. I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did.

Because we had been on the resort for the majority of the time, we were on the hunt for an authentic taco stand on the island. After passing what seemed like 100 tourist trap restaurants, we walked right up to this place. One look at the handwritten menu and quaint, outdoor kitchen, we knew we had found the place. The menu featured various tacos, empanadas, ceviche, and other traditional Mexican street foods. I ordered three chicharron tacos (because I'm obsessed with fried pork), while my bf ordered an al pastor, a chorizo, and a chicharrón taco, along with three empanadas. The food was made fresh, so there was a bit of a wait, but not too long. Man oh man, was it worth the wait. I honestly wasn't even hungry, but couldn't pass up the chance to eat street tacos in MX. The chicharron was perfectly crispy with a nice fat-to-skin-to-meat ratio. Did I mention that the tortillas were all freshly handmade as well? Additionally, their salsa picante was just that-- picante! It was hot as Hades, which wasn't apparent from the light green color of the sauce. But try some, it's worth it. I was in Mexico for four days and these chicharron tacos were, without a doubt, the best thing I ate. Nom nom!
