We wanted to find something not on the tourist route and more authentic to the island and locals and we found it. It was simple and delicious, space humble, and a place where locals come to hang out, have a beer and play some dominos.
There are really only five tables outside with a small kitchen and main area is a convenience store. We ordered chicken tacos and pork fajitas. Really no complaints. The best part? Elisa, our server. She was born and raised on the island, and so was her mother, and her mother before. Her English was excellent.
If you wanna feel a little like an island local, step away from the overpriced beach clubs, take a second to go inland, and have a beer and a snack at this little stop and take it all in. read more
