All Vegan/Vegetarian joint! We absolutely loved this place, enjoying equally the dining experience as well as the food! Sirena Morena is a two-in-one, a shop with many healthy options and a dine-in restaurant. This was our first stop in Cancun's downtown area, away from the Hotel Zone and beach. We quickly found out that prices are a bit lower, and the food portion is much more significant, lol. Buying too much food, not sure if what we ordered would be enough, boy were we wrong. We had: -vegan nuggets (appetizer) -raw rolls (appetizer) -Sirena special Tasty! As mentioned, this is a vegetarian/vegan spot that full of many many options. COVID NOTES ***CANCUN & area was phenomenally incredible as for Covid. I wasn't expecting to come back and find more deliciousness! Although I was sad that the Friday Taco option wasn't available on Saturday, it forced me to try something new, which turned out to be another tasty item that I'm very glad to have discovered, the vegan burger. I almost didn't get it because I usually don't like vegan options that attempt to replace a non vegan meal, but this is wonderful, not some traditional soy patty, which I don't eat. Also, it's not one big barely chewable portabello mushroom. I think the sweet rajas and guacamole with mango not only make it that much tastier, but should be the chasers of each bite, in order to have the full rich experience, otherwise they get drowned out with the other ingredients and they're not as tasty. Another vegan spot FTW! A bit hidden, easy to drive by, but once your find it you're transported into a garden oasis. A patio covered with trees, is a perfect spot to enjoy anything of the menu. My spouse and I ordered ceviche, protein salad, nuggets, ice cream, banana muffin, and a vita juice. The ceviche was light and fresh. A different spin for sure. 8/10. Personal preference would have been more juice and spicier. The nuggets were not at all what we expected. Super crispy and the sauce was amazing. 9/10. My protein salad, even the half order was more than filling. The olives pushed it over the edge. 10/10. The desserts, wow wow. My spouse doesn't have a sweet tooth, but loved the muffin and ice cream. As did I. I would defiantly recommend this spot and if I can make it back before I head home I will. read more

From breakfast, bowls, sandwiches, pizza, tacos, fresh juices, smoothies, desserts..... Gluten free bread, Matcha... all the things you may be missing from home. The staff is great. Nice patio with some shade off the Main Street a bit. They even have a natural/organic's market at the front of the building with lots of very impressive healthy things to eat, drink, wear and use. If you feel wasted after eating so many tacos that you lost track, Sirena Morena is here to reset your body. Like seriously. I felt refreshed after one meal that I decided to come here again during my 1 week in Cancun. I love the atmosphere of the place. It definitely doesn't reflect local authenticity yet it doesn't scream tourism either. When you walk in, there's a large patio/backyard/garden where there is outdoor seating. It definitely feels open and relaxed. Indoor seating (and the nice bathrooms) are vibrant too. - Matcha Smoothie: Yum. Not sweet but not bitter, which means it's just down-to-earth matcha. - Mixed Salad: This is my absolute favorite dish. It's a medley of vegetables (spinach, tomato, cucumber, carrots) with cashews and jamaica (balsamic + hibiscus) dressing. So healthy, filling, and delicious! - Green bowl: Kinda like an acai bowl without the acai. It's really refreshing and yummy. From what I remember, there is sunflower seed, coconut, banana, and strawberry. - Sirena Special: This was delicious too! We had this for dinner and thought their apple curry (similar to japanese curry but less tumeric) warmed us up! The quinoa was also super fluffy and light! This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Cancun! The waiters are also nice. It's tourist-friendly, as they accept credit card and provide English menus upon request. read more

We found this place on yelp while we had one night in Cancun. So glad we chose it! It's a cute restaurant and the food is insanely good. The staff is really nice and accommodating. The prices are totally reasonable. We would go back in a heart beat. The entrance to the restaurant is through an alley lookers right of their store front. A little haven for vegan and vegetarians in Cancun. The French toast was bomb! Would get it again in a heartbeat ---perfect combination of textures from the crisp caramelized cinnamon edges, topped with finely chopped pecans, to its warm gooey inside. No syrup necessary as it is lightly sweetened and paired with fresh fruit! Boyfriend ordered the farmhouse ciabatta with asparagus, egg salad and greens. This was paired with a mildly spicy Serrano pepper dressing that was totally money. It's a bit cooler this time of year ("winter" in Cancun) --so we got golden milk hot and it was the perfect pairing for our meal. read more

To look at the scenery alone you'll see the authentic depiction of Mexico from the layout of the whimsical garden, to the quizzical little lizard scaling down the tree to check you out. But if that wasn't enough, the food was outstanding! Completely fresh and authentically prepared, as well as the perfect picturesque culinary experience. I had the jackfruit tostadas which were insanely awesome and my partner had the Buddha bowl that she could not finish so I took the pleasure in that task. Both meals were filling. When two teens, one NOT vegetarian, loves the food...you know it is above the rest. The courtyard dining, friendly service and oh so fresh foods with amazing taste combinations will bring us back here even when we are in Playa. Separate menus in Spanish and English helped us practice our language skills. My 19 year old daughter had truffle mushroom risotto, my son and I had the protein salad and my husband had the vegetarian sandwich on whole wheat. I can't decide which is more aesthetically pleasing at Sirena Morena - the food or the decor. Suffice it to say, the entire experience was a feast for my eyes AND for my stomach. As a native of Los Angeles, we have many vegan and vegetarian options to choose from, but i was astounded to find a restaurant in Cancun that competes with any of them. Regrettably, i was only able to enjoy one meal at Sirena Morena, but i will most certainly be returning with my fellow Angeleno 'foodies' very soon. Came in worried that the reviews overhyped this place, but it exceeded expectations! The only thing I would be careful of is that they don't sell bottled water, but we had some from the convenience store next door so it wasn't a problem. This restaurant was amazing. The food was super tasty and healthy. They have delicious fresh juices as well. This place has a homey, jungly and friendly vibe. There is a health food store attached at the front of the restaurant, so be aware that the restaurant is located in the back when trying to find this place. My boyfriend and I came here later in the evening and had great service. Alex, the waiter, was awesome. He was very helpful in giving us food recommendations as well as travel suggestions. We ended up taking food to go for the next day since we liked it so much. Definitely recommend the wraps if you're having lunch. The bowls are great as well.
