One more time Navios gets my 5 stars. The cocktails are innovative. The service A plus.... The environment is close to be in heaven... Ava the service expectations. Gabriel did an excellent job. Not only gave us recommendation but offered a great experience..

If you come to Cancun, and are in the resort circuit area on the peninsula, you need to try navios. It's a hidden spot that overlooks the lagoon side of the area. The restaurant is located on the water and has a very island feel to it. You can either sit inside or on the water in a private hut. Which i definitely recommend. First off the prices here are awesome. We had about 10 entrees, drinks and desserts and paid $300 US. Would've been way more back home! 2nd is the food. I tried the chile garlic white fish which was amazing. Tasted very fresh. The rice had great flavor but was a little dry, but overall a great dish. My wife tried the ribeye which was great. Cooked perfect and good portion. We also tried the octopus which was good as well. 3rd is the drinks. The mojito and the Jamaica margarita were amazing. Lastly the service is awesome! So friendly and they did a really cool birthday surprise for my wife! Overall a great place. Has an upscale feel to it without all the fancy stuff you usually deal with at a steakhouse or fine dining restaurant. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

Came for Christmas Day dinner. All the seating offers amazing views. Food lived up to the hype of other reviews. Calm relaxed atmosphere. Waiters were attentive. The seafood is fresh. Prawns were large. My husband's tuna steak had amazing Asian flare flavor. They even have kids plates of chicken fingers or fish fingers, again homemade. We loved our cocktails-Mai Thai; Margarita. Prices I felt were really reasonable for fresh seafood. If you want Palapa seating on the deck they recommend reservation. If you look closely you might even find an iguana running around.

Amazing meal with stunning backdrop and impressive, immersive scenery. I cannot convey how stunning and elegant this restaurant is. After 4 days of boring all inclusive hotel food Navios really shown through with its mastery of seafood and beautifully plated dishes. The beef carpaccio came on an enormous plate and was delectable, just the right amount of saltiness and the added Parmesan worked great as a pairing. The grilled octopus was easy to cut, like butter, so fresh and tasty not at all rubbery or overcooked. The sweet potato garnish was delicious. The lobster tacos were really good as well, could really taste the chunks of lobster. Get the pineapple crème brûlée, it was the most delicious crème brûlée I have ever had, the presentation was fantastic, and the dessert could feed like 5 people.

We enjoyed Navios so much that we came here two nights in a row! TL;DR - This restaurant offers charming waterside vibes that are both elegant and romantic during sunset. The seafood is fresh, service is on point, and the prices aren't too crazy. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here as it was a cool evening with a warm breeze during sunset. We put on bugspray after reading other Yelp reviews, so happily didn't get bitten. On both days we ordered fish and steak, along with a couple drinks. The food wasn't mind-blowing but it was indeed tasty. The cocktails weren't very strong but were quite aesthetic. We didn't have to wait very long either, so felt good about the efficiency of service. All in all a solid 4/5 stars! Come here for a date night or ritzy night out, and don't forget to come before sunset!

Mexican seafood risotto, was a solid choice, came with lots of seafood.

Great seafood and cocktails, recommend making a reservation around 6:30pm for the best experience. Ambiance is very cool, especially at night when the location morphs into a lighted Oasis.

Garlic Seafood was a bit overcooked.

I reaaallly wanted to love this place, as it was well dated and the space is actually so pretty. But the food... it was a miss. The octopus seafood entree was better than ok, but slightly overcooked. The salad was great. Everything else was really overcooked. Ceviche was super rubbery and chewy - almost like Laffy Taffy, if you know what that is. Everyone who tried it agreed it was pretty bad. Service was ok; they were a bit pushy about ordering whole bottles of wine and extra drinks, which we didn't cave into. :) The best thing about this place is definitely the cute outdoor space. Come for the ambience, not necessarily the food.

This venue has the best dinning view especially around sunset. Reservations is needed as it's a popular venue for dinner due to its location but tasty food and service as well. Nothing disappoints here. Gabriel was awesome with taking care of us. Especially with nut allergies they were very careful to handle cross contamination. We had the fried snapper in garlic and man it was SO good. This was recommended by the manager and surely didn't disappoint. It was marinated in lime and garlic and was extremely flavorful. We also had a the tuna steak with veggie and it was seared to perfection. We stopped by here twice. Guava cheesecake was interesting it was tangy but good. Wasn't my favorite but I ate it . Venue is clean, everyone here is awesome. Highly recommend this place.

The service was amazing! They were super busy when we went for dinner but they kept full attention on us and kept checking on us constantly. Really appreciate that!! The atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable. Not too dark but not too much light...I personally liked it very much! There was a young lady playing beautifully violin when we first got in. Our food came out in less than 20 minutes and each item was delicious! We enjoyed our time and meal here & would definitely go back.

I was greeted and shown to my table. Beautiful views as most of the seating is on the socks overlooking the beautiful sunset. The waitstaff was not as attentive as the other places I've been out here. However, the food was so delicious! I enjoyed the truffle risotto which was shrimp and Scallops over a bowl of cheesy truffle risotto. They did acknowledge that I was celebrating my birthday and sang. It ended better than it started.

View from our table looking back at the restaurant.

We ate here tonight. We are staying close by so it was just a short walk for us. I made a 6:00 reservation so we could watch the sunset. The atmosphere was really nice. We had a table out on the furthest pier. The service was alright. There was some initial confusion in taking our order, or more specifically not taking it but taking our menus away. So getting an order in took a while. Once we did though, the food came out quickly. We are nondrinkers and they do have an NA beer here, Heineken 0.0 I had the lobster tacos and my BF had coconut shrimp. Both were good. We didn't have dessert but did order two cappuccinos which I wouldn't recommend doing. They were barely warm and almost entirely milk. We always have coffee after dinner at home and we shouldn't have tried to pull that here lol. The bill was $1600 pesos, or roughly $80 US. A nice evening on the water though for sure.

06/24/24 While attending wedding in Cancun we decided to try Mexican seafood restaurant off the property. What an amazing property from the walkway to restaurant. It has a chic, romantic air with the dim lights. There are section where you can sit on the deck above the water. A bit scary as there is a crocodile/alligator that's lives in the water. (Couldn't remember which one). Staff is amazing. Food and drinks pretty good. Would definitely recommend evening to enjoy the sunset.

Finally, the view from the place was really amazing, you can sit either out side or inside (if it gets too cold). I'm not sure though whether this place only opens to those that are staying at the palaces, so it may not be relevant to those that aren't. In the past this place has always been a staple for us, but each year we go we like it a little less. This year majority of the group was disappointed in the entire experience from the service to the food. To start, the service was lacking compared to what we get at other local restaurants nearby. Our servers did not frequently come back to ask if we needed anything and we were constantly having to ask to get our waters refilled. The drinks are good, but nothing we can't get elsewhere. Half of our group enjoyed (but not loved) their food and half did not enjoy. My SO and I split the al pastor meal. In the past we have loved this, but this time it felt like they rushed to make it and the flavors we remembered just weren't there. It was still good, but I think it could have been better. I do love the churro cart here, but you can get good churros several other places. Overall, this place has gone downhill in our opinion, and for the price it isn't worth it when there so many better options close by. I'm sure we will be back, but I think we might skip a year stopping here.

I saw so many videos and read so much hype about this place. I was excited to try it. I was just as disappointed when I threw out my burrito after a couple of bites. The food here is not good. It is so basic. I ordered chili cheese fries, and a burrito. For the burrito, you have to complete a form for your customizations, which I thought was going to be efficient. Unfortunately, despite my burrito, having everything in it that it was supposed to, I was overwhelmed by the massive amount of onions. Additionally, I was underwhelmed by the amount of shrimp inside my burrito. There weren't many at all and the entire burrito literally tasted like nothing. I ordered the shrimp and mahi. There was absolutely nothing remarkable about it. For a second, I almost wondered if I had Covid because the flavor was so lacking. But after speaking to friends of mine who also visited, I realized that I wasn't the only one. In total, I spent about US$32 on an order of chili cheese fries, a jerk, chicken, quesadilla, and a burrito. Fries: so bland. I wanted to throw them out, but I saved them and took them back to my hotel and added salt. It helped a bit, but these were overwhelmingly underseasoned and lacking flavor. The portion, however, was huge. Two out of five. Burrito: more mahi-mahi than shrimp, and neither protein was flavorful. The entire burrito was very bland and was full of more onions than I would ever care to eat. The burrito wasn't OK size, but it did not taste good. Two out of five. Jerk, chicken quesadilla: basic. Not super flavorful. And the chicken did not taste like jerk chicken at all. It didn't even have jerk flavor. Didn't even taste like they rolled the chicken in a little bit of jerk before cooking it. Three out of five. The staff noticed that I did not eat much of my food and asked if I didn't like it. I informed them that I did not like it and that I didn't think it had enough flavor. They did not care. I didn't fully expect them to because I know customer service is very different in Mexico, but I expected more. She even asked if the burrito was too spicy, which was hilarious because there was nothing spicy or even flavorful about it. This is very much a hole in the wall, kind of spot that has been blown up on social media. Very casual vibes, and there appears to be a small roof area where you can overlook the street. I would not return here. I also would not recommend it. Another example of influencers likely getting free food in exchange for review reviews. However, they do have a sign up that says you can get a free shot if you leave a review.
