We came here our 4th night in Cancun. Although it is now called Krudo Raw Bar and Grill. The restaurant and ambiance is fantastic. It overlooks the dock and water. They start you with complimentary chips and a seafood soup. Both were very good, there were three types of dips for the chips. 2 were spicy one was not. My wife ordered the octopus tacos and they were excellent. The octopus was chargrilled but not burned, very tasty. The soft shell crab was very good, the flavors all complimented each other. The pizzas looked great so we got the lobster pizza knowing we'd have leftovers. The pizza is different but good. The mac n cheese was very yummy as well, we really enjoyed it. While we were there they had live music and I was able to get them to play Brown Eyed girl for my wife. It was an excellent dinner and experience. Very close to giving it 5 stars, it is a little pricey but it's upscale food with an amazing interior and view. read more

I recommend this restaurant to anyone I know that goes to Cancun! We stayed at the RIU a few blocks down the road for my 40th bday. We ventured outside of the resort to experience local cuisine and we could not have picked a better place. It's located right on the water so there was a nice breeze where we were sitting. The server was attentive but when it came time for the check, he took his time. The only critique is that we passed it right by because they changed the name of the restaurant and haven't updated it on Yelp. read more

We had our heart set on another spot for a tasting menu but it had closed which created the opportunity to dine here. There is no tasting menu but we created our own. The staff is pleasant but not super attentive. This is not a fine dining establishment yet many of the dishes we enjoyed were composed and elegant. The panera cheese wrapped in banana leaf with mole tipped me off that ordering one main dish wasn't in order. We added the the squid ink aguachile and paired this with a lovely white blend Mexican wine. Although we already had plenty of tacos, we couldn't resist the pork belly and octopus taco. I'm so glad we did it! Round two consisted of beef soup, ossobucco taco and the Aztec tomato salad. Every bite was delicious. The lighting is dark and the restaurant is open so the breeze accompanies you! This also means the photos are not great but you will get the idea! read more

Sunday night dinner date with my wife and strolled up to Caminos. I made a reservation on open table and was seated quickly. The restaurants ambience, view, service, and staff was amazing. As for the food, it was also very tasty. I'd recommend this to a friend also visiting Cancun for a chill, elevated meal. read more

This place is now called Krudo Raw Bar & Grill. The seafood we had here was amazing- everything was perfectly cooked except the lobster, which was a tad overdone. Highly recommend ordering the seafood rice, the clam pasta, and the ribeye tacos. Each of them were perfection. We also ordered some raw oysters and clams to try, the oysters were pretty average, but the clams were delicious- super fresh and sweet. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you are in the hotel zone area. It's very easily accessible via bus or taxi. read more

We went fishing out of the marina right by the restaurant and brought 2 fillets (one snapper and one trigger) back for them to cook. Our waiter, Hector, asked if we speak Spanish or English to which we replied English. We couldn't understand a thing he said and just told him to prepare the fish however he thinks is best. Also, we had a spinach salad and French fries. The food came out split into 3 pieces of fish. The bill was over $100 USD. Not only did he make a point to tell me how to say bill in Spanish, he literally said you tip 20% bc I gave you good service. Ran the card, no opportunity to tip what we felt was appropriate. I just feel ripped off. I wish someone would have said it's going to cost $10 for French fries, $10 for a salad, $70 to cook the provided fish, and $7 for water. Plus he's just going to give himself a $20 tip. 2 of the fillets were blackened and were good minus the bones in them. The third one was meh. Not sure which fish was which even after asking. read more

This place is so yummy! Definitely a great alternative to the resort food. My husband and I went the last night and regretted waiting to visit. The staff was ON POINT and the manager checked in with us numerous times to make sure our experience was top notch. Isaac, thank you for all of your help with our dinner! The food here is amazing, even my husband who doesn't like sea food or soup, enjoyed the taste of the shrimp soup they start you with. Also, GET THE GUACAMOLE APPETIZER it's so so delicious and worth the money. Over all I think this place was fairly priced, not too fancy but not a hole in the wall either. The views were so nice and when we went there was a nice breeze and that kept the place cool. Recommend going over when it's almost sunset so you can see the nice views and if it's not cloudy, the beautiful sunsets Cancun has to offer. My husband got the flank tacos and I got the flank steak, both are very flavorful. I personally don't like the texture of the steaks in Mexico but my husband really enjoyed it (he even ordered a whole steak dinner to go!). They're very safe with COVID and I felt super comfortable there. If you order sides, I suggest splitting the ones like fries, we ordered two and it was too much, one order would've been more than enough. Overall I wish we had another opportunity to go, I heard the ceviche was amazing but didn't get to try it, highly recommend! read more

Like I picked off of everyone plate (I was with familyxD) and everyones food was delicious, everything was cooked perfectly! For appetizer we ordered muscles and it was so delicious, it was seasoned so good! I had the margarita pizza and I gotta tell you, it was amazing, so filling so delicious!! They gave us samples of this shrimp soup and it was so good I ordered an entire bowl of it. My cousin had the arrachera with alfredo and the steak was cooked so perfectly, so soft and tender so delicious man just trust me when I say some eat here, we asked for the chef so we can thank him and take a picture with him the food was 5 star quality all for an affordable price, I'm sad this place is in Mexico and not New Jersey read more

They are relatively new so not many people know about them, but Caminos has been the best restaurant we've had in Cancun. They had the best steak I've ever tried and only for 370 Pesos. It has a great ambience, excellent service, and an unmatched value for money. Would definitely go again given the opportunity! read more

Our resort concierge recommended this new restaurant for real fresh seafood at affordable prices. She was spot on, we love this place! Went back for a second meal. Menu has steaks that looked great but we had fresh fish both times. Extensive raw bar selection. A whole "small " fish was ample for one person and later our filets were so big we could have fed the whole table with just one and so delicious! Vegetable sides were large portions perfectly cooked. Bar well stocked and drinks were poured right at the table so we knew we had what we ordered and mixed the way we wanted. Presentation was wonderful, served by attentive staff so friendly that we felt they could have been family. Absolute must for next Cancun vacation. read more

Delicious, fresh melt-in-your mouth seafood and amazing service (Julio is a fantastic waiter) at an affordable price, with lovely views. We planned on eating a full meal but the appetizers--mussels (served in a tasty garlic butter sauce) and the perfect salmon sashimi--filled us up. We can't wait to return and try lobster and scallops (prices are by the pound). If you're tired of the all inclusive menu at your resort, take a break and treat yourself. read more

Open air restaurant with cool evening breeze and beautiful views. Seafood is extremely fresh and bar well stocked. Definitely worth a stop for cocktails or a delightful dinner. Don't order the lobster unless you are really hungry- it is huge but very tender for a three pound plus monster. The octopus is very tender and nicely seasoned. What a marvelous place! picture this, I beautiful Marina facing West. The Sun is setting with a beautiful Ray of yellow light reflecting on the waters. The marina is small but we'll stocked. The restaurants is on the second floor overlooking this beautiful sight. The breeze cools the air. The service is outstanding. And a food, to die for. having being in the military we have traveled all over the world. We were born and raised in Puerto Rico so we are acquainted with seafood and tropical food. But this place! We are there with a party of eight. The service was good and the corvina that several of us had was very good. However, two of the group had scallops which were very tough. When I pointed this out to our waiter, he said that there weren't any other complaints and refused to replace them or make an adjustment. So, only a few bites were taken of the scallops.
