I can't say enough great things about Native Sun! This was the fourth security door installer we've spoken with, not including those at the home shows in Phoenix. It was a requirement that whoever we decided on must be licensed, bonded, and insured (one installer who came to our home offered the cheapest price, but also had a fake ROC # on his business card). Native Sun AZ was highly recommended via the Facebook Neighborhood page, and after speaking with Judy, we understood why. She is an absolute pleasure to work with, and provided the best all around price for all of the options we wanted. From measuring our doorway to installation, we waited less than one month, with Christmas and New Year in between. Our installers, Tristan and Vincent, were prompt, incredibly courteous, and very professional. They asked a few questions before getting started, made sure we were getting everything we had ordered, and explained everything that would be done. Free quote. Don't let them waste your time. Scheduled a free quote on November 30th, when I called at 3:37 pm. I had to make the appointment ...two weeks out. They didn't have any availability until Dec. 9th between 1- 2 pm. Yet, day of, Brad showed up at 10:30 am and said thats what time the appointment was for. I was at work, my son was home, so I said go ahead and take measurements and let me know the prices for, two window screens and steel security door. Since I wasn't there, I called the office. Apparently, "angry" family members are employed in the office that work part-time. I asked " Helen" why she sent the guy at 10:30 am and not the appointment we had made 2 weeks ago for between 1 to 2 pm. She said she didn't know but thats the time that was written down. I said I didn't get a courtesy call or an email reminder. She said yeah, we don't do that. I said do you apologize when you make a mistake? She said she could reschedule him to come out at another time,and make another appointment. I never got a quote from Brad. He left my son his business card and he hit the road. I said No Thanks. The door is beautiful and the installation was good, however I found out after installation that Native Sun does not key the door to your current front door. I now have two keys to access my home. When Donna reached out to me for final payment, I discussed my frustrations with this NEW issue and she very rudely told me to pull the lock and take it to Home Depot (I am a single mom, that is not going to happen). She then proceeded to put me down and belittle me. I was in my corporate office and my cell disconnected. While I was dialing Donna back from my landline she called me back and said SHOULD WE COME GET OUR DOOR! I said what are you talking about? You hung up on me she said...I stated, no I did not and I am going to loose you again. Let me call you from my landline. I called her back, paid my bill. I now want every person out there to know she is a terrible customer service person and doesn't do anything to help Native Sun. Just because someone has been with the company a long time, doesn't mean they are good for the company. Native Sun should terminate her...she should not treat customers in the horrible manner I was treated today. My story is TRUE AND ACCURATE...very sad. I ordered a security screen door for my home. The installers were fantastic! Very professional and friendly. I didn't particularly like the type of lock that came with the door, so I took the lock back to their showroom, and they replaced it right then. They did all they could to make me a satisfied customer, and I am. The door is beautiful, and the quality is amazing! I was surprised to learn the doors are manufactured right there at the showroom location which may explain why the quality is so good. I'll definitely recommend Native Sun. read more

Worst company I ever interacted with. Placed an order for a Security Screen Door in late October 2019, paid the security deposit, was told 8-12 weeks. Placed numerous calls after 12-weeks, the only response I received, without empathy, was "It is not ready yet. We will call you once it is ready". I understand that custom work and fabrication takes its time, but 15+ weeks, come on! That's a joke. In the age of Amazon spoiling everybody with instant service, the customer expectations have shifted and you have to realize this. Going way over your promised delivery time without communication, not good enough. When we didn't hear after 15 weeks, we just cancelled the order. A week later we received a voicemail that they could install. A company like that should sell their business to somebody who knows how to operate and knows something about providing a solid, customer centric experience. We met Brad Jennings, our sales rep , at Native Sun at the Phoenix Home Show in January. Brad took a lot of time with us and explained the benefits of doing business with his company. One of those benefits was that he used no sub contractors on any part of the process. We made an appointment and he arrived at our house the Monday after the show. We chose a beautiful door that had all the bells and whistles we wanted in our security door. He gave us a date of installation that was met. His office manager, Helen, was easy to speak to and called us back whenever we had a question. The day our door was delivered and installed was terrific. At this moment I am not at all happy with Native Sun Home Accents. They told me 6-8 weeks for my door. Not one call or email from them. It was 8 weeks, and I called and was told - maybe they would have it done by the end of this week. Here it is, and no one has called, and all I get is a busy signal when I call. What business, in this day and age has only one phone line? Did they go out of business? Has me worried about my deposit. read more

We purchased a double arcadia security door several years ago from Native Sun. The door has since begun to rust and discolor in 3 short years. Their warranty is very limited and their service unremarkable. Recently I asked for a service request that was not granted and was told according to the pictures my door had dog damage. Well.... my dogs are not 7' tall to cause discoloration and damage to the top of the door as well as on the edge of the door. I was also told by the service person that did make a home visit over a year ago that our our door was improperly finished and should not have left the work room at the store. He agreed to come and fix the door which he never did. Since making contact again I am now told that employee is no longer with them, should not have said that, and they will not come and do a home visit. I dropped paint off to their shop last spring for the employee to make fixes at which time he did not and our paint is no longer available to be returned and unable to be found at the shop. I was told to leave the arcadia door unlocked while away for the summer so fixes could be completed and they were not. The company now offered a touch up which according to the home visit employee that would not fix the problem. I also have to get the color again, the paint again, and try to make an appointment again. I had three appointments set up on their books and not one of those appointments were met on their part for various reasons. The owner finally called after numerous failed appointments, phone calls, and store visits to tell me they would only do a touch up. He was unreasonable, curt, and unwilling to even make a visit to evaluate his doors. I would not recommend this company for security doors and unsure about any other products they offer. The owner claims he has a long lasting outstanding reputation and appeared unswayed about my review. read more

I would like to share my wonderful experience with Native Sun. I filled out the online request and was immediately contacted. Other companies I did the same for never called me back. My call from Helen in the office was knowledgeable and friendly. My salesman was very experienced, knowledgeable, and patient. I was able to get a next day in home consultation. I never felt any pressure or up-selling. He listened to what I wanted and then offered different perspectives on what would work best. Production was a bit behind the initial install date and I received a very courteous call from Helen keeping me updated which I greatly appreciated. My installer arrived exactly on time. He was professional, efficient, knowledgeable, polite, and neat. I have been so impressed with my entire experience that I had to call Helen and brag on the entire team. We ordered a door on March 23rd and was told 4 to 6 weeks. It's now been 9-1/2 weeks and still nothing. My husband called 3 weeks ago and was told we would have the door within a week. I called one week ago today and was told that they would call me on Tuesday with an update, that they were just finishing up March orders. Still no call back from them and no door. I'm ready to call it quits if I don't have my door soon. read more

Had them make 4 custom trellis for me a year ago. From start to finish the customer service was excellent. There was a small communication problem between the estimator and the "artist" who made the trellis. They immediately fixed the issue without question. They are coming tomorrow to estimate a security door. I expect I will receive the same level of customer service and an excellent product. I, first had a great feeling about this company. Dale and Helen are very nice. I ordered a security door for my back door and wanted some tune ups on my front security door that has been on my home for over 20yrs. Ordered the door in March of 2012 was installed July 2012. Rust on the door almost started showing up immediately. Called they sent some yahoo out, He asked me it I wet the door. I said we live in the desert and the door get dusty, so yes I used the hose to clean off the dust, He told me the door wasn't suppose to get wet....Are you kidding me...it is an outside door!!! They sent Dale out to sand and do paint touch up. OK no problem, wrong rust started showing up in lots of places.Dale must have been out here over 4 or 5 times before I asked for the owner to come out. He did and said he has never seen anything like it. They took the door off took it to the shop and I don't know what they did. Door comes back couple weeks later more rust coming thru. Called asked them to take the door and just give me my money back $792.16. Well that didn't happen. Dale came out numerous times again. I don't think they sealed this door before they painted it and now I have lovely rust stains dripping down from the top of the door...which by the way is open at the top...so if you are looking for good quality for your money KEEP ON TRUCKIN read more

Our order seemed to start out just fine and their product appears to be top quality, however, confusion around delivery coordination will cripple satisfaction of customer. After Helen called to set an installation appointment within the 2-3 week promise of delivery, she called twice more to schedule the same appointment. She further argued that she had not previously called, forcing us to reschedule our set appointment. This action put them beyond the 3 weeks in which they promised our door would be built and installed. We would have been more than understanding if we were contacted with honesty being told something like, "I'm sorry, but we overbooked and need to reschedule or we've had an issue with your order and need some time to correct it," but instead, we were simply lied too. I will not do business there again or recommend. Too bad, because I have neighbors that are looking at the end result and they own 6 homes around the valley. read more
