She said on Thursdays they have all day happy hour: $8 Long Islands and margaritas +2 for flavors, $1.50 wings and oysters, $4 beer, and $8 wine). They also have $20 hookah and beer and wine/shots combo specials. Drinks: I had the passion fruit and guava margaritas and my friend had the Long Island. We both enjoyed our drinks and got 3 rounds a piece. The passion fruit flavor is much better than the guava tho, so I switched back. Food: we had the wings and oysters to start. The wings were really good and came with a house special sauce. The oysters were nice and fresh. For entrees with both had the oxtail fried rice. A friend ordered the chicharrón bites served over a large plantain with guacamole and really liked them. One thing that surprised us was the price of a tequila sunrise. It wasn't part of the happy hour menu, and when the bill came it was $18 per drink, which felt pretty expensive. The restaurant itself was clean, the staff was friendly, and the bathrooms were spacious and well-maintained. They also offer hookah, but because we had children at our table, they asked our family member to move to another table to smoke, which I thought was a thoughtful decision. For dessert, two of the kids ordered churros with ice cream and absolutely loved them. The graduate received a slice of tres leches cake and enjoyed that as well. Overall, the experience was pleasant. My biggest complaint was that our food did not come out at the same time. Some people had finished eating before others even received their meals, which was frustrating for such a large group. The drinks were decent, and the food was a bit hit-or-miss depending on what was ordered. I'd say it was about 50/50 on whether people loved their meals.
