Pilsner at Native Brew Works, Jonesboro

Not quite the end of the work day but with a full battery and a bit of thirst, it was time to find a place where I could sit with a laptop and finish off. Native has that with a speedy wifi and a couple of places where you can sit comfortably. I was in the "back" room next to a power outlet and enjoyed my time here. Yes, Native has food. It looks terrific. I was here for beer and wifi only, getting good service and a good thirst quencher in their "People Pride Pilsner." [Review 19834 overall - 310 in Arkansas - 807 of 2023.]

Ambiance is super neat for jonesboro! Very big open space both inside and out! Perfect for get togethers! Service was friendly and quick! Got my food faster than I would have at Chick-fil-A! Food was delicious and hot! Pork was tender and tasty! Even provided a fly thing to keep the flies away from my food outside which was super neat! I didn't try the beer cause I don't drink anymore; but everything else was perfect!

Have you ever just ended up in Arkansas and you were like "dang, I could go for some tacos". Well, look no further because Native Brew Works will satisfy your craving and give you a newfound appreciation for tacos and Arkansas. My favorite taco was their special Birra steak taco. As soon as I put that taco in my mouth, the next thing to come out was me saying "this slaps ass". an exact quote. The beef tasted like low and slow bbq and melted in your mouth with every bite. Only pass would be on the corn.. Plus, the bartender recommended me to a nice disc golf course nearby! Excellent food and service! Come on down!!

We went in on a Friday night and there were a few large tables and a number of smaller tables as well in the other two dining areas. The person who took our order was so patient and was kind enough to go over the flight options with us so we could choose the ones we might enjoy most. We both got taco flights and shared a beer flight and boiiii let me tell you.... Ok hold on before I get into the food, let's talk about the place in general. Clean. Clean. Clean. Clean. When I say clean I'm telling y'all the water station was clean, the tables were shining, the floors and bathrooms were clean. There is a patio entrance area for patrons with dogs and it was super clean. The food. Y'all. That sweet potato taco is like something out of the land of the lost. It is delicious. I took a bite and straight froze and stared at my food in disbelief. I opened it up looking around for clues of hidden drugs to trick my mind or something. No sir. Just that good. I begrudgingly allowed my husband to have a bite and he also stared at it. Whatever they are putting in the food, baby, keep doing it. Carnitas, elote, I don't even remember all that we had. One of the beers was a Mexican dark beer which I stole for myself of course. The wait time was....uhhhh 4 four minutes? I don't even know because I was straight laying the smack down on some checkers with my husband. They have games, beer, tacos, pups, and laughter. Oh and it's clean. Like why are you still reading and you're not headed there now? Added to the list of favorites. They've done a great job with ambiance and the Reno of the building and patio area. Kudos to you Native. I pray that you have excellent success. Thank you for treating us like friends while we were there. Not a bit of it went unnoticed.

Just keeps getting better and better. The new menu options, rotating brews, and fun space. UNO MAS is my favorite. The people are friendly and welcoming.

This was my first visit to Native. The staff were all very nice and helpful! I was happily surprised by the vegetarian food options. It's hard to find good veggie taco options, and both of the ones I tried were delicious! I also appreciated the hard seltzer options, as I'm not a huge beer fan.

On our way from Memphis to Kansas City checked in on Yelp for a lunch and a beer. Staff was friendly, warm and very helpful with lunch choices! Spot on with taco choices, flight of beers and seltzers. Sad to say we couldn't take any with us , we would have loaded up! Great in and outside space, for small or large groups. Will put on travel plans next we plan to head your way!

My friend and I were in town and decided to try this pub for a meal, despite the reviews we had…read moreread. First off, I want to say that Craighead County is really hurting small businesses. In this day and age, who still limits the sale of alcohol? I wanted to bring in my zero-sugar root beer, but none of the businesses allowed it due to these outdated, prohibition-style laws. When we arrived, we were the only customers, so we were seated immediately. After placing our orders, we waited a reasonable amount of time before my friend's salad arrived. However, he barely got halfway through his salad before our entrees came out--way too soon! My friend had ordered bangers and mash, but we couldn't help but laugh when the food arrived. The bangers were so dried out, it seemed like they'd either been microwaved or left in the deep fryer for too long. The potatoes looked fine, but my friend said they were completely flavorless. I ordered fish and chips, and it was awful. The fries were lukewarm, the coleslaw had an overpowering horseradish taste, and the fish was so greasy I couldn't eat it. I had to pick out the fish with a fork and leave the soggy, grease-soaked breading behind. There was literally a pool of grease on my plate. The saddest part? My first bite, which had a bit of everything, actually tasted great--but that didn't last. Somewhere I read that the pub describes itself as "a pub, not a restaurant." Believe them.

I have never patron an Irish pub that only had one beer on tap, Guinness…read more Looked to be 20 taps that had no handles. Only explanation was that it didn't work. The only alternative was domestic, bottled beer. Now, having read the prior reviews I don't think this is a one-off situation where I would say "give it a second chance."
