Brought the wifey for breakfast during her lunch break and decided on Nations. Have not been here for awhile and she decided on a Ham cheese omelet with hashbrowns and toast. She enjoyed it and the hash brown were crispy and soft in the middle just the way she prefers it. Went with Cheeseburger meal with fries and a drink. I asked for crispy fries unfortunately it was not but at least cook. The Cheeseburger is good with miracle whip but lots of onions,tomatoes and lettuce much more than I prefer but I picked it off. The place was empty when we came in but more people came in as we dined. Place looked clean, and all tables wiped and available. The location is on a busy street and you see all sorts of different people so pay attention to your surroundings but overall it's not bad. I would come again. read more

Absolutely love this place! We recently ordered bacon cheeseburgers and a regular cheeseburger, along with fries and 2 vanilla shakes. Everything was fresh and so tasty! The slices of onion and tomato were thick and the patties were juicy. My family loved the fries and vanilla shakes. Always perfect for a quick dinner or lunch. I work remotely and wanted to get out of the house for a break. Hubby and I decided to come here for brunch. It's been a while since I have been here and I wanted breakfast while hubby wanted a burger. I ordered the meat and cheese omelette with ham and it came with hashbrown and toast which I chose sourdough. Hubby got cheeseburger combo. My food came out first and it was so good! I loved that they made hashbrown crispy without having to request. I loved it! It was nice to get out of house in a work day and have a quick meal here. Stopped there for first time for a meal. Ordered a breakfast sandwich of egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onions (I think). Anyway, it was made fresh to order on toasted sourdough bread. It was great! Although I only had time to eat 1/2 of the sandwich, the second 1/2 was just as good at room temp an hour later. Restaurant was clean. Only wish they served the salmon burger that I used to get at El Cerrito location. Counter staff very polite and welcoming. I've always loved Nations, but the Vallejo location is a mess. They clearly don't care about double-checking delivery orders--the number of times I've had missing items is ridiculous. Every time it happens, they just say "oops" and shrug like it's no big deal. No proper apology, no accountability. It's not that hard to double-check the ticket like any other decent food spot. From Alabama for work and new guy on my crew days best burger around. He lives less than .18 miles from here so I'm taking his word. Tried to order and ask if there is anything else as for as the cowboy burger he told me to get. Well guess what I wouldn't know because the cashier cared more about repeating my order in broken English than actually listening to what I was asking. There were 2 other workers standing around. Did they help.... No they didn't. I paid dang nasty 40 bucks for a burger, fries and 2 pieces of pie. If it wasn't that expensive I'd have just left the food. Sad part it isn't worth the price. Recently my husband and I stopped by Nations. We haven't been there in a good while. Customer service was very lousy. Food preparations and food was very good. What my husband and I didn't like was the 3 employees ignored us when we walked in. Place was not busy at all when we arrived. We were at the counter next to the 2 employees. And we had to speak directly to them to finally get their attention. I don't understand many of the millennial and younger generations these days. I am a 65 year old baby boomer generation. Thirty to 40 plus years ago customer services were a lot different and better. Times has certainly changed. And standards have lowered over the years. At Nations and many other businesses, employees don't greet or offer to assist customers any more. Many younger employees also don't smile ir say THANK YOU any more. I recently retired and worked fir over 40 years. So I do understand being tired towards the end of shift, dealing with the job's frustration and rude customers and problems with personal life. No matter what, as an employee, we are expected to be professional while on duty throughout our entire shifts. That was expected when I entered the work force after I graduated high school in 1978. Nation Burgers continues to have great food including their delicious pies. Nations Burger in Vallejo needs to do better in always paying attention to their customers especially when they first walk in no matter how busy place is. There is no excuse. Employees everywhere needs to show appreciation to customers. Without customers, businesses would not exist. Get a free beverage with any entrée" , but I called in my order over the phone for a cheeseburger and fries, came inside and paid for it, and then when I asked the lady handing me the food if I get a free beverage, and she didn't appear to understand me. I later found out she was getting off soon but her customer service left the building before she did. I wasn't even comfortable ordering my food. Classic burger joint that's been pretty consistent most life. We ordered via phone and waited even longer to go pick it up, when we arrived the order was still not ready. No biggie, pops and I ended up ordering a slice of pie while waiting. Once ready, she assured us all was there when my dad checked with her twice before leaving. Once we got home 3/4 of the burgers were wrong and we were missing a whole order of fries. After waiting 30 minutes found out their fries wasn't working right for the onion rings I ordered. Saw the rest of our food was sitting their so asked for it.... Everything was cold. Asked for our money back and they said it's not cold eat it! They then gave my onion rings to someone else who brought them back then gave them to me. Kudos to these hardworking employees! Every time I come here they are always busy! Service is usually pretty good but I do recommend calling ahead or ordering online for faster service.
