This car has given me problems with this engine light since I've gotten it and each time they have put it on the smoke machine and resolved the issue . Gregg thoroughly explained each time why it was coding. It has now been off for several miles now, but they spent a lot of time and effort to accomplish that. At first, I thought a homeless person had attempted to seek refuge, but in actuality, I encountered a very professional salesman. He was quick to offer me a cup of coffee and a seat in his office. I gave him quite a difficult task: find a vehicle with less than 14,000 miles for only $10,000. This wasn't the "difficult" part of the task, however. I also instructed the gentleman to find a car with heated, massaging seats and a trunk large enough to store my sousaphone. In only 2 days, I received a call back, and I am now the proud owner of a 2015 Volvo XC60. The vehicle met all of my needs, and although the seats lacked massage capabilities, the gentleman gave me a $10 Tokyo Soul coupon and a free horseback riding lesson at Tanglewood. Every employee I encountered at ABV treated me with respect and dignity, unlike that jerk William Fuccillo. At Fuccillo's, I was told that no vehicle matched my requests, and it was suggested that I "look elsewhere." And so I did... ABV is my first choice for all future vehicle purchases and repairs. The next morning, I had to check out of my hotel so I came to G and V to wait. One of their lovely staff members gave me a ride to a local diner and even picked me up after! I brought my car to Glisson's for an oil change a few weeks ago. Yesterday, I was driving (long…read moredistance) and started smelling burning. I pulled into a gas station and found the oil was basically empty. I was surprised, as the oil change was so recent. I inspect further and find the oil filter has a major gash in the corner ... with oil stains around the gash. I add 2 quarts of oil and watch the filter. Sure enough, a drop of oil starts to form on the gash, eventually dripping. My question is: how could this have happened? The gash was way too big and obvious to not be noticed (on the edge where you grip w your hand). Did they knowingly install an obviously damaged oil filter? If so, why?? One theory (and this is only a guess, but I'm otherwise struggling to hypothesize a reason to give Glisson the benefit of the doubt here) -- I remember when I brought my car to them, I was under the weather, so as a courtesy to make sure I didn't spread whatever I had, I wore an N95 mask. The person at the shop looked at me weird like I was their political nemesis, so I explained that I was wearing it bc I was under the weather and didn't want to infect anyone else, but that didn't seem to change their disposition at all. Again, this is just a guess, but I truly cannot fathom why they would have installed a visibly obviously damaged oil filter on my car. (If someone can provide a valid hypothesis, I will delete this review.) Either way, my engine may have extensive damage due to driving without oil to the point it started burning. Arrggghhh.

Vee Tech Motors 1621…read moreLemoyne Ave,, Syracuse, NY 13208 My girlfriend bought a car from this shop (Vee tech motors) on the corner of dippold and lemoyne ave a little over three weeks ago. When we drove it off the lot the check engine light immediately came on after the car got heated up, we shut it off at a gas station and it wouldn't start back up. We then called Vee and he had us tow it back to his shop which we had to pay the tow fee. He fixed it twice within one day which he printed us out a paper with a manifold code, both times the light came back as we left the lot. We then called and again and Vee told us once we got the title from the dmv he would refund the money. We then let the car sit for two weeks waiting on the title, contacted the dmv along with the state attorney to see if there were any other options. We received the title through the mail, went up to get the refund and vee immediately said no and wanted to fix it again. We dropped it off and he had it for a week. For the week he wouldn't answer any phone calls and he closed shop, we called the dmv and the cops and he finally let us have the car back after speaking with the dmv and again, after driving off the lot the engine light came on and we were forced the bring it back a fourth time. For the last time we dropped it off as we went camping, picked it up six days later and he didnt start to work on it yet. I immediately told them to put it back together and wanted it that day, I told them I'll get it fixed at a dealership and sue them for the cost, they refused to give the car back and my girlfriend and I were forced to wait infront of their dealership for three hours to get the car back. We've tried to get a refund from him or a car of equal value, he declined everything. I then wrote a review on his page and his response was I was a scammer and a Crack head. He also stated I tried to destroy the car to keep the cash from the bank and they would repo the car from him which would then put him at a loss of 6000. I wouldn't even entertain that response. This review isnt to bash him or his dealership but it is a warning to get your car looked at by a mechanic.
