They've resolved some major car issues for me so now I go here for everything. I once drove right off the highway into their lot with every engine light on, and my car was diagnosed, fixed, and ready to drive again very shortly after. They even supported me through getting reimbursement from a shop that had done poor work leading to this issue. I feel that the cost is reasonable compared to what I've paid other places, I am often pleasantly surprised with the total for services. Call ahead and they can often tell you when the best time to come in is for the quickest service!

Allow me to say, you all were so right. This place knocked my socks off. John is so thoughtful and thorough, he doesn't make you feel like a loser if you need to have something explained, and he's a problem solver. McKenzie, the young woman working the counter, is similarly on the job, and is equally thoughtful. For example, seeing I use a wheelchair, they made it easier for me to access the office and in a way that was matter of fact and not condescending. When I needed to return the next day for an inspection sticker, McKenzie met me outside the office while still in the van, and did the back and forth on my behalf. It might seem minor but it's so nice to have someone see and act on the "little" things that make life easier to maneuver. Bottom line: Bayberry Automotive is now my go-to garage of choice. The owner, Jeff Thomas is complicit in the abusive behavior of his employees, based on my personal experience. I brought my Range Rover in for diagnostics and a repair quote. When I politely asked for clarification on certain billing items, the service advisor (Tony Lesko) became increasingly abrasive and ultimately refused to continue working on my vehicle. I was instructed to pick it up immediately and pay only for diagnostics, which I did. At pickup, after I paid and signed only the receipt, I documented my vehicle with photos and video. *** While I was seated inside my car preparing to leave, the service advisor came out of the building, banged on my driver-side window, and then reached his arm inside my vehicle, multiple times, without my consent in an attempt to honk the horn, while continuing to make aggressive remarks.*** This behavior was intimidating, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate. The interaction was recorded. While on the premises, I also noticed that a brake warning light was illuminated, which had not been present prior to bringing the vehicle to the shop. That raised serious safety concerns for me. For clarity: tampering with a motor vehicle or interfering with its operation can constitute a felony under New York law. I am not making an accusation, but given the conduct and the vehicle condition upon release, this was alarming and unacceptable. Customers should be able to ask billing questions without being subjected to intimidation or physical boundary violations. I have filed formal complaints with the appropriate agencies and would not return.

The provider was fast, efficient, friendly and the service call was free with the Subaru new car warranty coverage. So my cost was $0 plus the optional tip (which I was able to do seamlessly on Venmo). So, in total, this was an equal or better experience than any other service call I have previously utilized with other vehicles.

We called multiple places and got turned down (mind you we are 19 year old girls stranded in Syracuse where we have never been). Tony was our hero, he called multiple places just to get us in and helped. When we didn't know the tires sizes Tony didn't hesitate to come look at the car and help. He lined up the tow truck and the garage to get the tires changed. He also got us estimates, good prices, and drove us to the tire place.
