I took my cadillac to NYE in Oneida ny. I told them that there was a short to ground on my CAN bus low wire and that I just put a new abs module in that I programmed through ACdelco and GMs techline connect because the short to ground fried my original ecmb. I literally told them that I programmed the new module to my VIN. and all the steps that they needed to do next. what do they do? reprogram my module and say they can't find the problem. waste of money and there technicians don't know how to do anything with a car other than screw people over and not fix anything. read more

Drove 2 hours to test drive and look at a truck. Put a deposit on the truck. As soon as we walked into the dealership and met our salesperson he talked to his manager. Immediately the manager JOE began yelling at him. Right off the bat he knew he wasn't going to meet our payment and wasn't even willing to talk to us because he had someone else looking at the truck. So you took our deposit bit weren't even willing to have the courage to call us and tell us no deal? I appreciate Ethan for taking the time to talk to us and go to bat for us. I do not appreciate JOE for his pompous and arrogant attitude or for assuming things he knows nothing about. No our truck doesn't need tires or brakes. I also do not appreciate the less than shoddy poor business tactics employed by JOE. If someone takes interest enough to put money down to hold a vehicle and drive two hours it's because they are highly interested. As far as I'm concerned NYE is a joke. I brought my Dodge Durango in because the air conditioner stopped cooling. The service department had the vehicle for an entire day and was supposed to test it. They charged me close to $200 for a supposed diagnosis. They told me it must have leaking lines and would cost $3000 to fix. I took it to another repair shop for a second opinion who charged it up, found a fuse was blown and it worked fine. It has not lost cooling power for almost a year now. These guys are price swindlers. The first thing I asked when I called was, "do you sell your cars at MSRP" and the sales rep said "yes". He asked me where I was calling from, and I said "Wisconsin". So he knew I was looking for a Prius Prime from far out of state. By the time we got to initializing the paperwork to reserve, he went and talked to his supervisor and came back with a, "Hey sorry but we have a policy to sell $1000 extra to out of state buyers"... I immediately said no I'll look somewhere else. This is classic price gouging. They went back on their word after realizing they want to take advantage of the fact I'm looking for a car 3-4 states away. I'm NEVER gonna look to do business with these folks again. read more

The good does not out weigh the bad here. I have used Nye Chrysler ("the bad") and Nye Ford ("the good"). Nye Chrysler took almost 2 months for a warranty repair. It was about a month before they got me into a rental. At that point I was told 5 days which was closer to an additional 30 days before I got my vehicle back. When I did get my vehicle back there were oily hand prints on the hood and driver side fender and inside on the driver side and center of the dash. A few minor scratches limited to the driver side also which can be attributed to tool marks to "pop" the plastic rivets around the wheel well. Nye Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram: I have been there a few times with different vehicles and for the most part in the past I would have given them 2 stars (3 stars at most). This last time I would have given them 0 stars if that was an option. There service which was mediocre at best in the past has gotten worse and in my opinion is currently dreadful. The good: Nye Ford I could consistently give 4 or 5 stars. Overall, at Nye Chrysler, in my experience expect warranty work to take forever and for them to delay for as long as possible. I am still torn as to whether to use Nye Ford after the latest experience with Nye Chrysler. I think in the long run it will just be safer to find a new dealership. If asked I would tell anybody to go anywhere else for their maintenance needs. If it's warranty work I have had no issues with Chrysler in Rome, NY. read more

I actually never bought a car from Nye -- (too far) however, the people I was in contact with were so courteous, nice and appreciative to me even though I didn't buy a vehicle from them.
