The Bartender gave us a shout out and said we could sit anywhere. We pick a seat we were warmly welcomed I hope I have her name, right Allisa greeted us kindly I tried a cranberry white claw and my dad just got a water since he was driving. I ordered 10 medium wings with blue cheese dressing and my dad ordered a big cheeseburger with french fries atmosphere was like you were local that you belong there the bartender could've cracked a smile a little more, but she seemed to be very kind. We received our food quickly since they're scratch kitchen and the wings were absolutely out of this world my father really enjoyed his hamburger even the locals talked to us. It was a great lunch for our family is going through at the time. I would highly recommend this place.

I would say during the day a family friendly restaurant they do have a bar in the middle of the restaurant but still a very calm crowd. The restaurant is very clean and patriotic and the service was very well. Very nice waitresses.

Exasperated, I noticed this place on the same side of the street so I went in. I was confused at first about what to do but another customer told me to go straight to the register to order from the menu hanging on the wall or to choose the short buffet line. I chose the buffet. The food is simple country cooking. Think of a choice of a pork chop, meat loaf, roast beef or fried chicken paired with your choice of sides like mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, potato salad, etc with a biscuit or cornbread. Dessert is extra and I had pie. There is a tip jar and the meal itself was $8 and some change (I forget). It was well worth the charge. My food was good in the way comfort food can be. No gourmet place for sure, but food like your grandma might have made. The table next to me was full of local deputies. I saw folks who looked like they had just walked in from the farm alongside men who might have been bankers. The dining room is a bit plain and sparse, not at all fancy. If you are in the mood for a fairly priced meal and a down-home spirit that will make you feel like a local (I was traveling through) then this is the place. I have never put money in a tip jar and had such an enthusiastic thank you as I received here. The woman's tired face lit up and my tip was not large. She seemed genuinely appreciative and based on the sparse offerings I think it may not happen often. You do bus your own table. I had sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and a pork chop and all were mighty fine!

She disappeared into the kitchen and came back with the menus a while later. We ordered margaritas. We noticed our server making the margaritas. Wow! She is a bartender too? Welp, that was short lived. The margaritas were clear ice. No flavor, nada. Our server had by then disappeared, so we tried to flag down other servers...but they quickly just passed our table. Legends needs to introduce the "team" attitude amongst their servers just like Murphy's chophouse staff, but I digress. Our server finally appeared again at our table, and we told her about the margaritas. She quickly said "I told you they were awful!" Before I could respond she quickly added "Oh no, I told that other table that!". She suggested different drinks, and we agreed. She went to the bar, made them, and delivered them. They were awful. We stuck with water after that. Legends needs to have actual, certified and trained bartenders working. That would also have helped our server SERVE better, as she had to keep diverting to the bar to make drinks for her various tables. We inquired about the Southwestern egg rolls, she said "those come frozen, they aren't made here". So we ordered the chips and queso dip which she said were "made in house". The queso dip was bland. And during our visit, our server kept dropping some vulgar words, which we felt was inappropriate for a server to use while serving patrons in a restaurant. We have loved Perrone's, Poor Parsons, and Murphy's Chophouse. We won't be returning to or recommending Legends.
