Pink Lady & Pumpkin Roll
Mary S.

This place is so adorable!! Stopped in while doing some Christmas shopping and ended up getting several Christmas gifts here! I got the Pink Lady iced tea that was on tap and it was so tasty. We also got the pumpkin roll and it was delish! The staff are so friendly and super helpful when trying to make a decision on tea. THEY HAVE SO MANY OPTIONS. My husband got a Hot Shortbread Tea and he loved it!

I'd recommend the Christmas in a Cup (any time of year) or the iced Peaches & Cream with some brown sugar.

Connected conveniently to the entrance of The Factory; The August Sage Cafe sets the brunch bar high in Columbia. * The decor is modern, laid back, and inviting. * The staff was very kind, warm and a pleasure to interact with. * My honey cinnamon latte was hot, well crafted, and a nice balance of bitter and sweet. * The breakfast taco was a fantastic blend of flavors and presentation-- definitely was worthy of sharing on socials. I'll be honest, I was so in the moment and enjoying my time that I forgot to snap pics of everything. I guess you will just have to take my word for it and go experience this great find for yourself. Rest assured, you are in for a treat. Add this to your list of local business to support and frequent. It has definitely been added to mine.

I saw a line right when I got there that kept growing! I had the chance to speak to the woman who handed me my lemonade & she let me know that it was her daughter's business. I think it's very admirable to be starting a business & pursuing all of the work it takes at such a young age. This place will go far!! I had the Wildberry Lemonade in a large. Two prices: small at $3, large at $5 (super affordable). It was yummy!! I have a bit of a sweet tooth so I think a little more sugar would've made it perfect. I can't wait until they open up a brick & mortar shop in Fountain Valley. I have been looking for a good lemonade spot in OC & I'm happy to see this small business growing. Tip: They also offer pre-orders over the phone for pick-up at a later date during the week. Their flavors should be posted on their Instagram. Also, they currently take cash & venmo!! That made the transaction a lot easier for me. Love this spot & I hope they have more pop-ups soon!!

Delicious Home Cooked Food!…read more We visited the Beacon Light Tea Room on a cold Saturday morning for breakfast, and I'm so glad we did! The staff greeted us warmly and the cozy restaurant makes you feel right at home. Their biscuits are small but tasty, especially when accompanied by their jams and gravies. I love their Sawmill gravy and I'd strongly recommend you add the hashbrown casserole to any breakfast you order. The coffee was fresh and my eggs were cooked perfectly. I look forward to returning!

Love the twisted break fireplace in the middle of the room when you walk inside. We were asked to sit anywhere we liked, greeted quickly and our food came quickly as well. Our sausage and eggs came with choice of gravy and we bit went with sawmill, then out our sausage patties on the biscuits we still had and voila! Perfection! The staff were friendly and we enjoyed looking at the Bon Aqua and restaurant history via photos placed in the hallways . Very interesting. Men's and women's restrooms were clean, ample parking and a good all around stop!

We tried the egg salad, chicken salad, the viral hot cocoa with the peppermint marshmallow, plus a few bakery treats because obviously we have no self-control. That cocoa??? Unreasonably good. It's a bit cramped inside, but everything about it is gorgeous. A quaint, charming tea room. My ONLY complaint and this is truly nit-picky is that I wish my biscuit had been warmed up. I LOVE a good bakery and I am kinda spoiled by over 30 years in San Francisco, where there is a great one every few blocks. I just found all the photos on my phone and realized I had not reviewed this place from last month's mini vacation. And honestly I know we got like 4 things for 4 of us to take home and snack on for the next day or so, but I don;t recall all the things we got EXCEPT for the white almond frosted cake(slice, but in a round shape). Everyone agree it was the one to beat, and not to take the crown, but it was the one that I chose. This reminds me that I need to find all the bakeries near me now that do "cake tasting" boxes and just treat myself every once in a while!!
